Notes

Ok so let's talk Milkshake. When in doubt, look at a food recipe and keep it simple.
4% Strawberry ripe for the texture and body of the strawberry
2% Strawberry Shisha to help the Strawberry Ripe pop
2% Vanilla bean ice cream for the nice start of the ice cream
.5% Dairy/Milk to give the dairy factor and help the ice cream.
.8% Vienna Cream to richen up the vbic and give it extra texture.
Steep 2 weeks. This will hold it's flavor over a long period of time.

Thank you for the notes on why you use certain flavorings. It is really helpful.
#2 by Kay_Fun, Jan 7. 2017, 04:30
I'm gonna give this one a try. Thanks!

Can i replace the strawberry shisha with straw sweet cap?
#5 by Boogenshizzle, Jan 13. 2017, 17:56
@Obet
If you like Cap SS, Yes, You can. direct replacement. It's not exactly what I was looking for but it is a bright one as well and can technically perform the same function intended.

hello,
tried as written, and it's excellent,
do you think the same base milky base
could work with other fruits ...
like mango (I 've never been able to mix a Lassi recipe that is good)

also tried your straw milk ,and made 100ml more ,
so was also thinkingif its milky base (keeping all the same %)
could work with any other fruits (just adding sucralose depending the fruit of course)

thank you for sharing your recipies, for now I love them all ❤️

what about a little koolada?
#8 by Boogenshizzle, Feb 16. 2017, 12:10
Go for it I guess. I can't.

I wish all recipes had descriptions like this, it'd make figuring out flavor profiles and layering much easier to newer mixers, thanks for this.

after 1 month steep tastes awesome , on par with your milk to rule all milks
#12 by Passionatekisses2013, Mar 13. 2017, 01:09
I don't have strawberry shisha but I have strawberry, and organic strawberry byTFA so which would be a good substitute?
#13 by Boogenshizzle, Mar 13. 2017, 01:21
Whichever is the brighter of the two.
#14 by Buster of Xs, Jun 21. 2017, 01:05
I've been experimenting with a milkshake base and decided to look what others have done. Thanks for this. It's basically what I've been finding on my own and has what changes I plan on making to my own.

Ive been looking for a strawberry milkshake liquid for a while and ive finally found It! This is such a nice vape and the flavours are awesome. Well done Boogenshizzle and thanks for sharing this recipe.

I'm about to make my 2nd 50ml of this, thanks Joe! LovING this recipe... I might have to go with 100ml on this one hehehehe
#17 by cincinnatiking, Sep 30. 2017, 17:46
Very authentic milkshake taste to it.
#18 by Chuck's Vapor, Oct 5. 2017, 07:31
Getting ready to mix this. I'll report back to rate it. thanks Boogenshizzle
#19 by zeeter, Dec 23. 2017, 19:45
Just tried this substituting Vanilla and Vanilla Shisha where applicable. Will see how it turns out with the different base flavor in a couple of weeks. I'm not a fan of strawberry but this recipe has so many positive reviews that I figured I'd give it a try.
#20 by Chuck's Vapor, Dec 24. 2017, 16:02
Merry Christmas eve. Thanks for the recipe. It's been 2 1/2 months. First taste was at 4 weeks and it seemed flat to me. I'm not much of a subtle flavor guy so I bumped up the strawberry a bit with sweet strawberry and a bit of red touch. This morning it's still subtle but it's very good. I only added 1/2% sweet strawberry and a few drops red touch. Thanks for the recipe Boogenshizzle.
#21 by WitchWolf, Jan 6. 2018, 01:12
Would it be acceptable to substitute Capella Vanilla Bean Ice Cream at the same %? Unfortunately that is the only flavor in the recipe that I lack at this time.
#22 by Boogenshizzle, Jan 6. 2018, 01:30
Yes
#23 by WitchWolf, Jan 11. 2018, 06:15
Thank you

No offense to freshpie or whatever his name is (on first page) but this sb Milkshake is in another league. No comparison. His missed the mark on every level; the Milkshake/dairy base is funky and imbalanced, the sb ratio’s he used looks like he divided the 3 sb’s equally just out of laziness because you can’t “equal parts” sb’s just don’t work at all are entirely different flavors that were better off with their own unique %’s, he has vbg and vbic in the recipe which makes zero sense, and lastly, the juice tastes nothing like a sb Milkshake regardless of steep time. 5% vanilla cupcake and 3%+ dairy milk is another genius mixing decision. Dang, this turned into a rant! Can’t help thinking it’s BS that recipes like this get buried in the list and recipes not even half as good are on the first page. Hopefully newbie mixers learn to give non-page-1 recipes a chance before they go back to store bought juice and see that we have gems like this deep in the lineup. Anyways, we’ll done with this recipe and I look forward to knocking up some of your others. Cheers

4 rings of fury, I'm a new mixer and I appreciate comments like this while looking for things to mix up. I have none of these flavors in my stash at the moment, but they are in my cart! Thanks for your feedback, and thank you Boogenshizzle because this recipe does look promising! :D
#27 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 7. 2018, 04:11
Thanks for your kind words! If you need any help as a new mixer find me on FB in DIY-E-Juice Recipes. Just ask for me.
#28 by WarInPeace, Jun 7. 2018, 04:53
I will definitely do that. I am just looking for recipes that I like. I have flavors for alot of the front page recipes, but like fury said, they all suck, sadly. I was unimpressed by most of the ones I have made :(
#29 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 7. 2018, 04:54
I'd love to check out your flavor list and design some recipes with what you HAVE!

I requested to join the group! I'll search for it once I'm accepted and send you a list!

#34 by steve - uk, Jan 21. 2019, 14:31
This is a fantastic recipe... needs no tweaking and was fine for me after a week steep.
#35 by sneaky_zekey, Feb 27. 2019, 19:04
How would it be without the dairy milk
#36 by Boogenshizzle, Feb 27. 2019, 19:16
For this specific recipe, it is essential.
#37 by sneaky_zekey, Feb 27. 2019, 19:25
That's what I figured. I added it to my shopping cart. Thanks
#38 by Stiffneck, Jun 9. 2019, 09:42
Oh no, i have no Vienna Cream. Do you think i can sub it with Sweet Cream (TPA) OR DX Sweet Cream (TPA) or Sweet Cream (CAP)?
#39 by Akshay Pai, Jun 18. 2019, 20:37
Brother, can i use Malted Milk instead of Dairy Milk, i am a beginner, please tell me the difference, would really appreciate it. please & thank you
#40 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 18. 2019, 20:53
@Akshay Pai, I wouldn't. I believe the malted would throw off the balance of the recipe. At the same time, IF you used it at about .25%, you could definitely add something different and make a strawberry Malted milkshake. Malt is in many milkshakes around the world depending on where you are from. Some people like it, some don't. It's basically a creamy version of the inside of a Whopper.
#41 by Akshay Pai, Jun 18. 2019, 20:55
Thanks a ton brother!! you rock
#42 by 1337fuzz, Jun 22. 2019, 00:09
This is amazing. Going in my rotation. Thanks a bunch for the recipe.
#43 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 22. 2019, 00:15
@Stiffneck do you have vanilla switl?
#44 by Stiffneck, Jun 22. 2019, 00:16
@Boogenshizzle, yes, Vanilla Swirl (TPA)
#45 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 22. 2019, 00:18
1.3% vanilla swirl instead.
#46 by Stiffneck, Jun 22. 2019, 07:07
Thank you very much.
#47 by Akshay Pai, Jun 22. 2019, 07:16
Should I use sweetener, if yes what should be the correct %
If I use TPA strawberry instead of INW sheesha, what % would you guys recommend. Thank you
#48 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 22. 2019, 23:26
The strawberry needs to be switched with a poppy strawberry. Why would you want sweetener?
#49 by Akshay Pai, Jun 22. 2019, 23:34
Hello sir,
Didn't get INW shesha :-(, (out of stock), i hope TPA strawberries work.
The reason why i wanted to add sweetener (TPA) cuz strawberry flavor has kinda muted on me :-(
#50 by Boogenshizzle, Jun 22. 2019, 23:37
That's the exact reason the SHISHA is in there.
#51 by DanielTheVapeMan, Dec 5. 2019, 19:50
I made this and I loved it. I wanna take this recipe and add a cap creamy yogurt to it. What percentage do u think
#52 by Boogenshizzle, Dec 5. 2019, 19:54
If I were to do that, I'd switch it for the dairy milk probably around .8-1%
#53 by DanielTheVapeMan, Dec 5. 2019, 19:57
Ok cool I'll try it with or without dairy and let u know. That is boogen!
#54 by Bakervapor, Jan 24. 2020, 00:56
Just made this. I dont think the Shisha is working for me i keep getting a cooked kind of taste. Just my taste buds probably i been working on lemons all day...lol.. I only made a 10 ml. I added .1 red touch flavourart and .2 of malted milk to try and square out the Shisha. I'll mix it with a different couple strawberrys and try em out! Great stuff though man! I still love it anyways..
#55 by Bakervapor, Jan 24. 2020, 01:10
I spend hours sniffing on the shit ton of flavors I have. Im glad to see a lot of them will last a while if I'm careful. I'm glad we have a lot of the same flavors also. Sometimes it takes a couple different flavors to make it right. I tried to make a Hawaiian punch from the Hawaiian punch website...haha... I sniffed out each different flavors of different ones smelling it out right..i ended up with an amazing nectar tasting juice. I'll post the recipe here soon its absolutely amazing.
#56 by UPSguy, Apr 19. 2020, 16:14
This is the KING of strawberry milkshakes!!
#57 by Dannabis, Jun 1. 2020, 13:04
This recipe is the shit, i love it. The combination of shisha strawberry and ripe is great. I have been adding SS and imo it just makes it tastier. 5*
#58 by LazyRabbit94, Jun 28. 2020, 18:37
I wanted to make this a couple days ago but I didn’t have VBIC or Vienna cream soooo I subbed with CAP VBIC and Vienna Cream with Fresh cream (FA) and it turned out really good. So good I had to come back and find this recipe again to favourite it. Looking forward to trying the original recipe on my next flavour order.
#59 by J-Vaper, Sep 12. 2020, 01:12
Boogenshizzle, well done, I didn't thought that I would like this as I do, the flavor is a bit on the low side but I have to say as I have mixed 400ml of this already, this vape extremely nice and light on your coils, since I can't find Real flavor concentrates anymore I had to search for something new and this just might hit the spot, I also have made different variations for more creaminess etc.. but there is not really something you can add to make it better. Congrats.
#60 by DanielTheVapeMan, Dec 2. 2020, 22:59
I never got back to you on the yogurt, it was perfect
#61 by Dimmer, Jul 27. 2023, 05:10
I love it!
#62 by Btd1p, Aug 17, 20:18
Thanks for the inspiration I subbed some stuff & borrowed your percentages for a shake & vape version, sub strawberry ripe for juicy strawberry, sub shisha straw for strawberry sweet, sub TFA VBIC for CAP VBIC, tastes good !!!! Will report back after a steep aswell.
