Might have to try this, will have to use FW yellow cake and maybe something in place of zeppola, thinking Capella cake batter or TPA frosted donut, or Capella glazed donut,
I mixed up a batch replacing the strawberries for blueberries
Wild and extra both @2% and up the cupcake and pound cake to
1.5% really good frosted blueberry doughnut
I'm on my second 60ml, first batch I used Shisha Strawberry and Strawberry Ripe, very yummy 😋. I mixed the second as it's written. Smells so good. Thank you Fresh ❤
Mixed up a 30 ml used Yellow Cake FW instead of Pound Cake both strawberries @ 2% & .5% of Flavour Art Black Currant. Pretty good right off the bat. Time to steep for the 7 days. Thanks again @freshepies
Tasted great on point @2% of both strawberries(great dense jelly) seeing how I haven't any pound cake I used FW yellow cake along with the vanilla cupcake, I wasn't getting the cake out of the doughnut after 9 days steep. So I upped the yellow cake .5% & upped the vanilla cupcake .25%. Now I'll let it steep another 7-10 days and see how it turns out. I already love this recipe I just hoping by tweaking the two cakes will somehow give me somewhat of a pound cake, if not what the hell it's a great tasting jelly doughnut no matter what #freshepies. Or should i have upped the zeppola instead of the cakes ?
Question: I don't think I have Pound Cake, but can I sub it for something? Maybe FW Yellow Cake?
