Notes
Original recipe. Creamy strawberry with a touch of raspberry for a flavor bump. If you're a strawberry fan trust me, try this! The combination of FA cream and meringue blend perfectly with the berrIes.
-The juice starts out clear (with the flavors as posted) but will turn a very slight, barely noticeable amber-ish color in about 5-7 days. Then it's time to rock.
-The sweetener is optional. Some like it, some don't.
-You may also try subbing marshmallow for the malted milk.

This is one of the very first juices I'd mixed that I really liked. Mixed up a batch on xmas '17 and wasn't into it at first. I put it aside after a few days and it sat in the drawer for another month. While some of the pink has faded, I loved this mix. Not sure what the magic was, but it crept up on me, kind of slapped me around. I think the SB faded a bit and let the raspberry really shine like the hunker that it is, like a solid reach around. I'm writing this now, a solid 7 months later and -- guess what -- yup I found the last 10 ml of this sitting around daring me to mess with it like that tramp you know you can have a wild romp with every now and again. So here I am, the morning after, with no regrets. You should try it some time, have your turn at it.

This is so good! Thanks so much! I added some bilberry and blueberry wild. It was great. Thanks again :)
#2 by TZ, May 24. 2015, 06:23
I'm happy you like it. Enjoy!
#3 by seratne, Jun 4. 2015, 20:46
Thank you for this recipe. Didn't have Raspberry or Sweetener, but subbed with EM. And even as a shake and vape it came out great. I had a retail juice that was very similar and was my top favorite of all time. Definitely going to have to check out your other mixes.
#4 by Menno, Jun 23. 2015, 06:51
Lovely. The hint of raspberry was what was missing from my strawberry and cream blends. This recipe turned out great!
#5 by robin, Jun 30. 2015, 05:05
Thank you so much for this recipe. It is awesome

Has this been tried Max VG? How did it turn out?
#10 by Dio, Sep 11. 2015, 04:19
Yes! I use pure vg and it's perfect!!!
#11 by TZ, Sep 11. 2015, 04:56
Dio...That was a joke. Ronnie James Dio was a rock singer.

great recipe Zen!

Man this stuff is amazing. Definitely store bought quality. I made it on Sept 18th and now I can taste all the tiny aspects. Brilliant man.
#15 by Jason, Oct 6. 2015, 09:10
Zen, you really knocked it outta the park with this one bud! Anyone who rates this under 5 stars really needs to go to a doctor and get their taste buds checked. This is one of those recipes that only gets better with time. This is by far one of the best DIY recipes out. You rock, keep on mixin' brother!
#16 by TZ, Oct 8. 2015, 03:26
Thank you for the kind words !
#17 by Elites, Oct 22. 2015, 19:43
@TorturedZen Thanks so much posting your delicious recipe. I just made a small batch and smell really very good. How long you want me to steep at least? (Normally I steep 24 hours at least any juice even which don't required steeping) Thanks you
#18 by Elites, Oct 22. 2015, 19:44
@TorturedZen do you have any custard recipe which is full with strawberry taste? Let me know please. Thank you
#19 by TZ, Oct 22. 2015, 23:23
@Elites.....I let this one age for about 5 days so the creams settle in. As for a custard recipe you could just work off of this one and just experiment.
#20 by HC2S, Oct 23. 2015, 05:21
Great Recipe! I tried it like it is, and made a batch with .5% Inawera Raspberry and left out the sweetener. After 2 weeks steeping it is more than sweet enough and the Raspberry is more realistic. Both are terrific. Thanks, and thanks for the inspiration. :)
#21 by Maureeenie, Oct 24. 2015, 00:46
I just mixed this with Blackberry instead of Raspberry and swapped the Malt out for Marshmallow. I tried Malt a while back and it didn't work out well for me personally. That's a lot of strawberry in there but I have a feeling it's going to work.
#22 by TZ, Oct 24. 2015, 06:48
@ Maureeenie...I've done the marshmallow swap also and it was just as good, but in a different way. Better mouth feel I think. I'll put an addendum about it in my original comment.
#23 by diketone, Oct 28. 2015, 18:42
i dont have Cream Fresh (FA) and Meringue (FA), is there replacement? Tqvm
#24 by Maureeenie, Oct 28. 2015, 18:44
Don't use the Blackberry, that did NOT work.
#25 by Vikingdamp, Nov 4. 2015, 15:44
How long time would you recommend it to steep for ? just mixed it exact as listed above and i can't really taste the strawberry but mostly just the merinque and fresh cream, will the strawberry taste come out more after a period of time or am i missing something ?
#26 by rsimmy, Nov 5. 2015, 19:51
Whooooo that sweetener is just too much. When I get my 30ml of Strawberry ripe I'm gonna have to make this again. I can tell it's delicious , but that sucralose just isn't working for me at all.
#27 by Burntcake, Dec 14. 2015, 05:44
Is this juice harsh at first? I've made it to exact recipe and it's still harsh after a week at max vg. Just want to know if this needs more steeping.
#28 by CarrieVapeZ, Jan 6. 2016, 17:33
WOW! I was surprised by how good this is. At 20w the raspberry was really coming through. At 25w i got an almost cooked taste and 30w was really delicious. I didn't care for it too much when i went higher. That was after a week steep. Looking forward to waiting another week !!!
#29 by Cairnsie, Jan 19. 2016, 20:10
Recommended sub for malted milk? Just ordered some and dont want to wait that long for my first mix of this juice
#30 by Burntcake, Jan 22. 2016, 07:35
I used marshmallow at the same % as maltes milk
#31 by Jaybeezy35, Jan 31. 2016, 13:55
Can you sub meringue with something else? Like a custard or a different cream
#32 by OrganicCloudz, Feb 27. 2016, 11:22
This smells amazing! I can't wait to try it on Monday!
#33 by OrganicCloudz, Feb 29. 2016, 10:29
This is something special, really really tasty!
#34 by MackyAmber, Mar 2. 2016, 19:10
Whats the difference between malted milk and marshmallow? In terms of the final taste?
#35 by Lori, Mar 15. 2016, 18:50
This is my absolute #1 favorite recipe on ELR so far...it's delicious!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!
#36 by OrganicCloudz, Mar 16. 2016, 09:53
The marshmallow will be slightly sweeter.
#37 by OrganicCloudz, Mar 21. 2016, 15:03
I've tried this with 75VG anyone had any experience with upping the VG on this?
#38 by OrganicCloudz, Mar 29. 2016, 11:54
To those wondering, I can confirm this is still delicious at 75VG!
#39 by OrganicCloudz, Mar 31. 2016, 13:43
For raspberry lovers try bringing the raspberry up to 0.2. Delightful!
#40 by TZ, Apr 2. 2016, 23:24
04/02/16 Just a minor change to the recipe. Nic changed from 12% to 9%. And THANK YOU for all the comments. It looks like this has even made it over to some European DIY sites! Rock/Vape On!!
#41 by DripNDrive, Apr 8. 2016, 03:12
Ive been making juice 4 months now. Ive made around 60 recipes on here and i gotta say this is the best thus far. Only real adv ive made so far. Subbed fa marsh for the malted cause i dont have it. Great recipe! I did 8mg nic. Id like to make this higher vg any thoughts?
#42 by DripNDrive, Apr 8. 2016, 03:24
Guess i should have read the comments.
#43 by OrganicCloudz, Apr 8. 2016, 11:48
I make this at 75VG 25PG and it's beautiful, I think it makes it a little smoother on the throat, especially with sub ohm tanks. This is the stuff I make the most, really really great stuff @TorturedZen, you're a credit to the site.
#44 by ZaFFeeR, Apr 10. 2016, 17:08
Does it taste like Pink Starburst ? just wondering cause I like Starburst.
#45 by OrganicCloudz, Apr 11. 2016, 09:16
It's not a super sweet recipe like that. It's a creamy fruit, just like a milkshake.
#46 by Gdeszyk, May 5. 2016, 12:20
Can I sub capella strawberry for FA red touch?
#47 by juice junkie, May 5. 2016, 12:41
U definitely can sub fa for cap but I'd use around 1-2% fa compared to capella.
#48 by Gdeszyk, May 5. 2016, 20:20
Yup FA flavor are very strong and efficient. Ty for your answer :)
#49 by skeppy, May 16. 2016, 15:42
Going to make a batch of this right now, tempted to add a drop of koolada to the finished product to give it that milkshake feel? Been trying to create one myself and keep ending with just strawberry and cream(Some great i must add) but guess i'll mix this and see as I wanna try the malted milk i got especially for making milkshakes :-)
#50 by skeppy, May 20. 2016, 00:45
I'd suggest for anyone who doesn't bother with shop bought juice thats sweet to NOT add sweetener. Its sickly sweet! A drop of Ethyl Maltol at an absolute push... but all the berrys combined in this are sweet enough as it is and I know strawberry ripe contains some ethyl maltol as it is, which will mix with your other ingredients! Spoiled what could of been a good recipe in my view. I actually made a recipe rather similar to this but with a dash of quite a few creams instead of just the one. Damn people probably thought I got my idea from this hah! But it tastes nicer based on the fact I didn't use any sweetener and even that is quite sweet if you ask me even using plain tfa raspberry :-) Just food for thought not having a dig!
If you've been mixing your own stuff for awhile and not been bothering with sweeteners I think you would benefit with leaving it out. Just thought I'd add this! As above you said it was optional but I wanted to make the exact recipe :-)
#51 by Joel, Jul 5. 2016, 05:54
Great recipe, tastes pretty good right out of the gate
#52 by Daour, Jul 18. 2016, 23:54
i cant vape above 4mg Nic and all the Nic i have is PG will this effect the recipe?
#53 by FrenchVaper, Jul 25. 2016, 10:51
Just made 200ml yesterday, it's an awsome recipe
Very well balanced
Very tasty
just what we need of raspberry
Completely what i like fruity/gourmand and very milky !
Thanks a lot
#54 by Som3a, Jul 27. 2016, 11:25
This looks lovely!
Can I sub Raspberry (Sweet) (TPA) for anything else ? I got FA Raspberry and all kind of creams/sweetners
#55 by juice junkie, Jul 27. 2016, 11:58
I'd say sub fa raspberry but only use 0.25- 0.5% because it's a lot stronger than tfa. The raspberry is pretty much there to liven up the strawberry and keep from fading. You could also sub the raspberry for acai tfa 1% if you have it. This is just my experience /opinion with mixing.
#56 by Som3a, Jul 27. 2016, 12:05
sounds perfect but I thought tfa sweet rasp is supposed to be more sweet ?
#57 by juice junkie, Jul 27. 2016, 12:10
Fa raspberry to me is just as sweet. I guess it's just how they named it because I'm pretty sure they have a raspberry flavor as well (tfa). I personally like fa raspberry better.
#58 by TylerH, Oct 21. 2016, 22:46
can't get malted milk or marshmellow. would TFA sweet cream fill in that void?
#59 by ViTALiTY, Oct 29. 2016, 14:22
Going to mix this, thanks a low.
#60 by Max, Nov 8. 2016, 19:25
Had to sub malted milk with FA marsh 1.5%, and TFA rasp with FA rasp 0.5%... This is great. I'll have to try the original at some point. Thanks zen!
#61 by Kevin, Dec 5. 2016, 01:55
I'm not a huge raspberry fan by any means- for example I really can't vape Rhodonite even with literally 2 drops of raspberry in a 30 mg. HOWEVER- THIS IS EXTREMELY GOOD. Adds a different twist to a strawberries and cream that with this combination goes INSANELY well. Very nice. 5 stars.
#62 by Kris-p flavour, Jan 31. 2017, 14:57
Found a bottle of this from July 2016 in my cupboard and the strawberry is still there. Well done. Made mine withe the marshmallow instead of the TPA Malted Milk. Definitely on the sweet side, I'll skip the sucralose the next time, but nonetheless a very tasty vape. Good transition period juice if you've been vaping premium and are just starting to mix.
#63 by Spluck, May 30. 2017, 18:01
Mixed up a small batch with 0 nic at 85% VG. Subbed marshmallow for the malted milk and and used 8% FW Strawberry to start (11% total strawberry would be too much for me). Threw it in the crock pot but had to test it after an hour. Delish! It'll be tough to let this sit for a week. :)
#64 by Morfeeus, Jul 8. 2017, 03:49
Just mixed this up exactly as listed and tried it as a SNV. It's really good and one of the better strawberry recipes I've tried. Cant wait to see how it is after steeping for a week or so. I cant believe how well the raspberry makes the strawberry really pop! I've got a few other recipe samplers I made at the same time but i don't want to stop vaping this to try them!!!
#65 by HVPGH, Aug 4. 2017, 23:27
Generally bored with strawberries and cream vapes, but just happened to have gotten in malted milk and was browsing recipes. Unusual for me to have the exact flavors specified in a highly rated recipe but did. The profile is perfect because I have been having trouble creating raspberry recipes that were less than astringent, medicine like, or floral. On a chance whipped up 150ml's and as I normally do dripped some on my 22mm Tsunami in single coil mode, to get an idea of the flavor. It's a winner man, damn good! I did make it with the 1% sucralose cause I knew if I found it too sweet that my son-in-law would like it regardless. Now I am going to have to make a bunch and send him some cause it fits his flavor profile completely. - Thanks!
#66 by TZ, Aug 5. 2017, 14:52
@HVPGH...Glad you're happy with the results. Although I'm not sure I would make 150mls taking a chance on a recipe. I usually test at 10ml.
#67 by HVPGH, Aug 5. 2017, 17:04
I've been mixing for about 3 years now and have a pretty good sense of profiles that I will enjoy. Besides, it looked like a perfect to try out the aforementioned malted milk (couldn't see doing a standalone of it). It tastes even better today after steeping bout 24hours, I only imagine it will improve.
#68 by TZ, Aug 6. 2017, 16:14
Yeah, the longer we mix the more we acquire that feeling of what will work for us. Kinda like a sixth sense. I can look at whole page of recipes and rule out 85% of them.
#69 by BichoTheChef, Aug 7. 2017, 16:12
dude thank you 4 days i couldn't wait more ... another Hit :D this time i made 50mls let's hope it last more than a week great strawberry Zen!
#70 by Psycher, Aug 21. 2017, 08:13
I have FA marshmallow, would that work ?
#71 by TZ, Aug 21. 2017, 18:17
I suppose it would work although I've only used TPA's version with this.
#72 by bbadger, Aug 22. 2017, 03:30
Very nice vape, not much of a raspberry fan. But this nice the way they blend together. Forgot about it for 10 days, but will make again.
#73 by Madmedic, Aug 22. 2017, 07:42
So took your advice even though I have used these two strawberries before at these percentages I mixed up a 30 ml. It was great off the shake, nice balance and actually tasted the strawberry. Just wondering as you know I struggle with tasting strawberry's, will they still be there after a steep. There's alot goig on behind them and like the other recipes the strawberries for me tend to get lost. Time will tell..warmest regards Sir.....
.
#74 by TZ, Aug 22. 2017, 18:02
@Madmedic...I think the fading thing is inherent to most strawberries, but I could be wrong. In terms of this particular recipe I haven't kept it long enough to evaluate a difference. I make 30mls at a time and burn through it within a week. Play it safe and mix small batches.
#75 by TZ, Aug 22. 2017, 18:05
@bbadger...I only used the raz as a booster. Try lowering to 0.5% or you might try 0.5% dragonfruit, as it also works as a kicker.
#76 by bbadger, Aug 22. 2017, 18:21
@Torturedzen dragon fruit does sound good, thanks
#77 by jims kitchen, Nov 18. 2017, 23:27
let this steep for 2mths. strawberry gone
#78 by TZ, Nov 19. 2017, 00:23

This is probably the recipe Diy or DIe uses for his one shot on Liquid Barn!! LOL!
#83 by TZ, Jan 21. 2018, 00:07
Not sure. I don't really follow him. Got a link for that?

#85 by heel4you, Jan 21. 2018, 18:31
@juice junkie Tortured Zen posted his original mix on 3/12/15. So, this is just a coincidence in the flavors.
Thank you again Tortured Zen for making a great mix and sharing your hard work with the community!
#86 by juice junkie, Jan 21. 2018, 18:48
@heel4you...I was the first one to comment on this recipe back in 2015. I wasn't saying he cloned diy or die if anything I was saying diy or die might have made his one shot of off something similar to this recipe.
#87 by juice junkie, Feb 2. 2018, 23:19
@TorturedZen kind of crazy I got that Quik and the recipe off the shake seems real close. I made this with sweet strawberry jungle flavors because I feel like that is what is in Quik. You really should check it out! Crazy man! Off the shake they seem real close. I guess we will see once it steeps.
#88 by Brandolf, Feb 8. 2018, 19:44
Just broke a 2 month old bottle of this out. Seriously good stuff! Thanks for sharing this one, man!
#89 by TZ, Feb 8. 2018, 19:51
That's what it's all about brother!
#90 by willOfGood, Feb 18. 2018, 23:11
Hi everyone, I only have FW raspberry, would you sub Raspberry (Sweet) TPA with it a 1:1 ratio ?
#91 by Jimmynails, Feb 25. 2018, 17:58
I’ve only got tfa meringue. Can I use this instead at the same %?
#92 by TZ, Feb 25. 2018, 19:29
You can sub whatever flavor you have available so long as you understand that you have essentially changed the recipe and will not get the same results.
Good luck!

#93 by Jimmynails, Feb 25. 2018, 19:34
So does fa meringue taste completely different to tfa meringue?
#94 by TwoTone, Apr 13. 2018, 14:24
@TorturedZen.. Thank you for your kind comments. I shall be giving this one a go. Looks Great!..
I see you had a run in with G3N0CID3. Just had him myself, on my back giving S** before even trying my recipe.. What A F**..

Anyway Of to Mix this with a bit of "Smooth TPA". With High percent Strawberries, I get a funky taste imo after a 30 day steep as I always do.. But this really smooths out any Strawberry mix I have done. 2 Drops per 10ml.. Give it a shot and see what I mean..?

Regards TwoTone;-)
#95 by TZ, Apr 13. 2018, 16:39
@ TwoTone...It wasn't really G3N0CID3. Some kid named SpankyMcYanky. Got his panties in a wad because I leave honest comments and advice to some of the new users. I think you saw my reply.
#96 by EastBayVaper, Apr 18. 2018, 22:15
Good stuff mixed it up last week and vaping it now! Thanks for the recipe!
#97 by TZ, Apr 18. 2018, 22:27
Thank you for saying so.
#98 by Ricky, Apr 20. 2018, 09:24
how doing with 2,3% Nic? taste still be nice?
#99 by TZ, Apr 21. 2018, 01:43
Low nicotine should not affect the taste. This recipe was originally posted at 9%, but that was 3 years ago and I have updated the base numbers.
#100 by Ricky, Apr 21. 2018, 12:25
the taste was good but not enough bold for me
FYI i've using Marshmallow FA for subtitute Malted Milk (TPA)
thanks bud!
#101 by Ricky, Apr 30. 2018, 09:23
have you replace Malted Milk (TPA) with Dairy Milk (TPA)?
thanks bud!
#102 by TZ, Apr 30. 2018, 16:37
I have not. My preference for this is Malted Milk. Dairy Milk will work but in my opinion it tastes thinner, at least to my palate and won't give the same 'texture' or mouth feel.
#103 by federete, May 1. 2018, 09:27
I can barely taste the strawberry - I was wondering if I could sub some of the strawberry ingredients or just top up them. Any suggestion? Thanks!
#104 by TZ, May 1. 2018, 18:21
How long did you steep? Some strawberries tend to fade, then bounce back after a few weeks. You can sub any strawbs you think will work.
I have difficulty tasting strawberry so I'm constantly experimenting with different combinations. One suggestion would be to cut back on the other ingredients just a bit to see if the strawbs pop through.
#105 by federete, May 1. 2018, 18:31
Many thanks for the feedback, TorturedZen! I steeped for about one week. I don't think cutting back on the other ingredients would work because they are already subtle. Maybe I try with Inawera Shisha Strawberry, I read somewhere it was good for strawberry-blind people (which I may be?)
Do you think I can just add a few drops of Inaw. Shisha strawberry to the mix I have? (I prepared 60 ml!)
#106 by federete, May 1. 2018, 18:34
Maybe I need more sucralose? I also read somewhere that sucralose helped to bring Strawberry flavour up. I added only half of the sucralose recommended in the recipe. BTW, the raspberry hint is great
#107 by Mcclurejacob, May 7. 2018, 19:59
Will try this recipe when I get home tonight and rate and comment after my one month steep I do for all my diy juices
#108 by TZ, May 8. 2018, 21:55
Mcclurejacob-be aware some have reported the Strawberry (Ripe) having a tendency to fade after extended steeps. I have not experienced this but just giving a heads up.
#109 by fuzefactory, Jul 20. 2018, 17:12
this one has quite a rap, might whip my concentrates out and bash this one even if it is midnight...hehehehehe thanks TZ
#110 by fuzefactory, Jul 20. 2018, 17:15
being a 2015 publish, do i need to drop back my overall % TZ...?
#111 by TZ, Jul 21. 2018, 00:12
@vape4dayz...that depends on your palate. Maybe adjust the FA Cream down a smidge. I've done it @1.0% but, while still good, it wasn't the same.
#112 by TasteeJuiceMan, Oct 24. 2018, 21:53
Looks really good! Definitely going to try this out next time I can
#113 by TZ, Jul 4. 2019, 01:50
You are correct Mr. Englishguy! Unfortunately for you us wannabe's know how to enter correct flavor names when we post recipes.
Sadly, you don't even qualify for that.
#114 by MTL-Vaper, Sep 5. 2019, 08:35
@TorturedZen is this the same adaptation as the one posted on ATF ? The one on AFT has lower %'s on some ingredients, which one do you recommend mixing i have all the flavours on hand.
#115 by TZ, Sep 8. 2019, 03:25
The original recipe here, due to my being new to DIY at the time, has some higher percentages. The re-worked recipe was posted on ATF while this one, if I remember right, remained unchanged.

Try the lower ATF version first. If the strength works for you then no need to make this one. Or...make both and let your palate guide you.
#116 by MTL-Vaper, Sep 9. 2019, 10:48
Cheers @TorturedZen
#117 by Monia, Sep 15. 2019, 07:23
Hi TZ. Ive made a batch of this, but left out the sweetener. And all i can say is WOW!
I will have to mix this in large batches in future as the whole family keeps on requesting.

This is the first recipe that I enjoy. Very new to this, as you can guess. Everything that I have mixed before tasted aweful. This, however is not only delicious but also quite unique. Really like how creamy flavors work here. Will try to improvise and sub all the strawberries and raspberry with some other fruit. I think peach should work great.
Thanks again @TorturedZen
You have made DIY enjoyable for me.

I've been mixing (copying other people's skills) for a few years now. Mustard Milk got me 1st, then Bearded Smooth No5, but always been concerned about the diketones in those. I've been searching for a Strawberry alternative without the nasties for a while now. I think I've found it! Even straight off the bat it's fruity, creamy and more importantly has a smooth mouth feel. Can't wait for it to steep. I did sub the malted milk for FA marshmallow. Well done @TorturedZen and thanks for sharing 👍

First time trying someone else’s recipe. Yup TZ, damn good! (and I’m tone deaf to strawberry) mixed up 30ml, one week steep, GONE in one day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
