Dear mixers,

Many people assume Extreme Ice is extreme and I remember doing so myself. It's actually not: I'd freeze my brain on 2% Koolada, but 4% or 5% EI is mellow cool. It's a broad, full menthol-mint flavor and after adding a bit of sweetener it reminds me of the chewing gum I had as a kid.

I've been trying Extreme Ice with different fruits but I can't report any exciting findings at all I'm afraid. But then again, a bit of sweet and a bit of mellow is all it takes to make this minimalistic juice. It may lack whistles and bells, but that is actually a feature of this recipe....

So, before you leave this page yawning and with eyes rolling, there's a reason I'm publishing this recipe: it's a perfect flavor break juice. If you want to get away from the flavor circus for a quick rest & reset, (to avoid vape tongue or aroma fatigue or whatever, or just because you want a break) you should give it a try. It resets your palate and it's pretty neutral, yet you can easily ADV it for one or two days.

This juice also seems to appeal to the kind of new vaper that hates all ejuices. I've had four or five cases where people simply couldn't find an acceptable e-juice (in spite of being motivated to quit smoking and really trying a whole range of them). When one person finally settled for this recipe, and then I got that first comment (see under this recipe), I noticed a potential pattern; I have since successfully tried with some other people.

So if you're doing missionary work and someone objects that he'd start vaping if not all the flavors would be horrible, give this a shot. (*)

Store large batches in glassware, or mix small batches, or you'll experience that extreme ice will lose it's bite after a while.

CAP Super Sweet is optional.You can leave it out or sub it with 0.5% TPA sweetener.

TPA Koolada is optional as well. It adds an extra level of cool on the exhale. Over 1% would make things frosty, 0.5% would be enough for just a bit of a crisp.



(*) I've also noticed that ex smokers who hand-rolled their cigarettes before switching to vaping seem to all have a thing for Deadly Sin (Kriga's v2 clone on this website). It's usually full blown love at first sight, probably because of the bold, dark flavor profile.)

EDIT 2: I've gone up to 10% Extreme Ice without a problem. Again, don't be intimidated by the name...
