i like me some cactus after spending a fortune on Digbys el cadejo, i tried to clone iit and your recipe is almost exactly the same except mine has a big splash of koolada in it,
#2 by DC Originals, Feb 9. 2017, 23:59
I'm glad you like it. I'm curious to see what it does with some age on it. It seems to be getting better and better!! I will have to try a batch with Koolada what percent did you run?
#3 by Jaxter, Feb 10. 2017, 01:49
Here's my exact amounts for 30 ml
Cactus 1.4ml
Forest fruit 0.3ml
Koola 0.8ml
Sweetener 1 drop per ml

You could go higher on the berries or sub with Capella's
Harvest berry, I can't say I've ever tasted them at the fore with el cadejo, but feel free to tailor to your own liking.
#4 by DC Originals, Feb 10. 2017, 03:08
Ok cool thank you i will give it a shot.
#5 by TheJuiceFairy, Feb 27. 2017, 01:49
Wow!!!! 😍This is amazing FlavorTown kind of vape! I was very very skeptical with forestfruit at 10% and Cactus at 2.5% but shit turned out Amazing! Way to go man! 😋
#6 by Fallacious Fog , Feb 27. 2017, 09:58
Just made this. Had to sub kactus for TFA double watermelon and subbed FA forest fruit for CAP marshmallow. Tastes fuckin awful gunna give it a 3 day steep see if it comes around

Just kidding made the recipe as per. Super tasty. I made a hundo ml

Shake a vape. 3 hour steep LOL. Tastes amazing. I did lol sub the sweetner for super sweet at .6% didn't have enough I think to make 100mls but it's a dream. U did well brudda.
#7 by TheJuiceFairy, Feb 27. 2017, 14:28
Fallacious Fog - Your subs cracked me up 😂

#13 by TheLostSurveyor, Mar 9. 2017, 03:46
I still can't believe it. This simple little recipe just replaced the complex ADV that I've been stuck on for months. This is a good'un!
#14 by DC Originals, Mar 9. 2017, 03:47
Thanks guys, I just made another 120 today myself
#15 by Jon333AK, Mar 9. 2017, 06:51
Nice change from my usual custards and creams. I've been using this when I need a change and a taste reset. Has that juicy mouth feel
#16 by Lars, Mar 9. 2017, 13:28
I was skeptical, but I really like it! I am going to try to mix it with 1% Cactus and 4% Forest Fruit with the same amount of sweetener though. 5/5 from here - Good job!
#17 by DC Originals, Mar 9. 2017, 15:26
Thank you Lars!!
#18 by igottasrt8, Mar 9. 2017, 17:48

#21 by DC Originals, Mar 10. 2017, 05:00
It's showing on my end
#22 by Moddy, Mar 10. 2017, 06:35
+1! So simple - yet SO refreshing! I didn't have any idea WTF I was gonna do w/ this Forest Fruit I have. Now I know!
#23 by Joker, Mar 21. 2017, 23:32
Just made this very good wow
#24 by Baldwinix, Mar 28. 2017, 10:22
Well I just made this.. And it was very strong. I already had a feeling that it would be strong based on the percentages, so I made 20 ml worth to start off. Then I diluted it with more VG and pg (keeping the VG:PG ratio the same overall) and now this a lot more vapable. I think the reason why there is so much forest fruit was to balance out the high percentage of cactus. With the flavors cut in half (1.25% cactus, and 5% forest fruit) this makes it nearly an all day vape for me. I'm gonna tweak around with the percentages some more, and maybe try adding other exotic flavors such as tfa papaya, fa mango or something. I might just make a whole new recipe. This is my first time using cactus, so this definitely gives me some idea on how to use it. Thanks for the reccipe! Its good overall, I just think it has potential to be more..
#25 by Lars, Mar 28. 2017, 16:20
I am vaping a bottle from 27/2 - there is almost no hint of Cactus left - but the Forest Fruit has deepened a lot - Basically it's a completely different recipe once it's aged a bit. Still good though, but I am going to do experiments similar to Badwinix - 1% Cactus and 4% FF and see if I can keep the original feelin of this recipe for longer :)
#26 by DC Originals, Mar 28. 2017, 19:30
Let me know how it turns out, I'm curious. The light version I made is some really good stuff too for shake and vape.
#27 by Beckham, Apr 2. 2017, 01:27
This recipe is amazing.
#28 by Gwairide, Apr 8. 2017, 05:36
Great great cactus recipe. Very sweet and very strong flavors. Was good as a snv but even better after a week of steeping.
#29 by nicktyrrell, May 6. 2017, 12:30
fantastic vape, made as said but i upped the nic to 3%,glad i ordered 5 bottles of forest fruit and 2 bottles of cactus, going to be making loads of this.well done skeeter31 for an awesome recipe,5 stars from me!!!!!!
#30 by Mitch21, May 16. 2017, 23:49
Best juice yet. Mix and go. I'm keen to experiment with a tiny amount of menthol added. But it is perfect as is.
#31 by DC Originals, May 17. 2017, 04:09
I have been adding koolada to it and love it. Does not affect the flavor glad you like it!!!
#32 by Mitch21, May 17. 2017, 09:15
I added a drop of menthol in my tanks last night and found it did seem to mute the flavours a bit, but brought out more of the cactus flavour.

Definitely need to get me some koolada!

Mad props Skeeter31, this is an incredible recipe.
#33 by Loonicorn, Jul 18. 2017, 10:31
I had 3 goals went I went to the mixing table tonight
1. Make something different than my usual dessert/bakery/cream vapes
2. Use forest fruit and or cactus for the first time in a mix
3. Make something I could shake and vape
Bam! 3 goals met with one recipe. Thanks mate!
I don't see this becoming an adv for me but not cuz there is anything wrong with the recipe. It really is nice for something different for sure and it is good. Oddly I am getting a melon flavor from it which is not something I've heard before about either cactus or forest fruit, I guess I have a weird palate.
Anyway, thanks again and cheers!
#34 by Jay_1327, Jul 27. 2017, 02:27
Well done Skeeter. This is a really good ADV. The berries come out really nice after letting it sit for 8hrs, though not sure it's necessary. Probably a great shake and vape too! Made it with max VG.
#35 by DC Originals, Jul 27. 2017, 03:15
Thank you guys and gals!!!
#36 by Dharok, Aug 30. 2017, 00:07
Liked this recipe a lot. It's not my usual flavor profile but I was researching a berry flavor for a friend. I vaped a couple tanks same day as mixing and really good! A lot of sweetener tbh and that probably has something to do with it.

Anyway, gave the bottle to my friend and they liked it too. Thanks for the recipe!
#37 by Aluishous, Sep 25. 2017, 04:42
perfect for fruit lovers. Thanks!
#38 by ∆ SIRROMPIMP ∆, Sep 25. 2017, 23:21
Sick vape bro!
#39 by peteywvapes, Oct 4. 2017, 01:31
I gotta say, I only used Forrest fruit 1 time and I hated it so it was just gonna collect dust. But I was feeling adventurous and decided to try this because what the hell, why not? Holy shit this blew me away. This is definitely gonna be in my rotation for a while. Great job with this mix... Unbelievable!!!
#40 by David, Oct 26. 2017, 04:09
@Fallacious Fog , LMAO!! I thought you were being serious about all those substitutes... Had a good laugh out of that one.
#41 by Jacko , Nov 9. 2017, 06:44
Very nice recipe, thanks for sharing 5*
#42 by Mr. Scott, Dec 4. 2017, 02:28
Amazing flavor. First cactus recipe ever. It's a keeper. No changes made to your recipe. Very well done. 5 stars!!!!
#43 by indi, Dec 12. 2017, 23:55
Fantastically simple recipe that tastes lovely as a shake n vape , I use ALOT of FA concentrates and Forest Fruits being one of them my Wife really likes , I know from past experience that 6ml in 60ml of juice is way too much for both of us.
I used exactly half and that worked out perfectly for me , I never use more than 5ml per 100ml of ANY FA concentrate as I think they are super strong.
If you like your vapes very strong then go ahead and try the recipe as is but my recommendation would be to start at 50% and work your way up if its not strong enough.
Overall , great simple recipe and thanks very much for sharing.
#44 by TBone, Jan 20. 2018, 15:58
I just had gotten cactus, and this was the first I have tried it. I am thinking I made a good choice. This is very nice
#45 by DC Originals, Jan 20. 2018, 22:31
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys and gals I’m glad everyone enjoys it as much as me and everyone I’ve had to try it.
#46 by Kikassdaddy, Jan 22. 2018, 01:30
I was a little concerned with forest fruit at 10%. This is a delicious snv. It's the first time I've used cactus and just wow. Thank you for sharing. Bravo

#50 by WTFMF, Mar 18. 2018, 16:53
I’ve been working on a good flavor combo for 45mg salt nic juice. This might be good ran 40VG/60PG in a stealth device!
#51 by DC Originals, Mar 18. 2018, 20:12
If you try it and like it leave me a rating please!
#52 by TheJuiceFairy, Mar 20. 2018, 01:01
It’s definately a good one for pods. I still enjoy this a whole lot!
#53 by adntigger710, Apr 13. 2018, 04:46
My bf likes it. I WISH I could give you more notes/comments, but he's one of those people who eats everything and complains about nothing, so my questions of "too strong? too harsh? wish anything was more present? does it taste juicy enough?" are all met with the "no, it's good, I like it". For everything. Does it with my cooking too. For a perfectionist, it's just maddening. Never thought I would wish someone was just a bit more critical lol.
#54 by Tony R., Apr 24. 2018, 21:06
5 Stars.........Thank you!
#55 by Rena, Apr 25. 2018, 16:48
I love everything about this recipe I made 30ml of it and wish I would have made more it Tastes like a fruit bursting tropical berry gum the flavor is just the right amount of sweet for me to adv I never get tired of the taste ppl was saying it was a lot of cactus but I taste the FF as the dominant flavor in this even after 3 days I did shake and vape it and it was delicious right off the back I like the way the flavor coats my tongue as it slightly hits the back of my throat with like a berry burst of flavor I give it 5 stars thank you for the recipe!!!
#56 by DC Originals, Apr 25. 2018, 20:29
Thank you guys and gals for the positive feedback, I have a bottle that’s over a year old just testing how long it stays good and it still tastes great so you can definitely make it in bulk. This batch was made with 1.5 mg nic not sure how it holds up with age in glass using a higher nic level, but this one is still great!!
#57 by tattooedvaper, Apr 29. 2018, 02:26
Would 1% Smooth be ok to round it out and create more of a mouthful feel?
#58 by DC Originals, Apr 29. 2018, 04:53
I’ve never used smooth before. I don’t see what it would hurt to try.
#59 by BMAZmixer, May 3. 2018, 03:51

its so good I want to drink it.
#63 by Krystallyne, Jul 16. 2018, 01:25
Hands down one of my husbands favorite flavors. The only change I've made is subbing the tfa sweetener with my own (a mix of em, sucralose, stevia and erythritol) mostly because those come out of my grocery budget which leaves me more money in my vape budget 😂
#64 by federete, Jul 24. 2018, 22:39
At first I did not like it... neither at second or third, but now I love it
#65 by DC Originals, Jul 25. 2018, 01:03
It’s some good stuff, and it definitely is a love or hate mix. I’m glad you dig it!
#66 by emmerj, Aug 8. 2018, 11:12
Mixed and forgot about this for 2 weeks, just tried it now and it is delicious. Thanks!
#67 by DC Originals, Aug 8. 2018, 16:08
Glad you like it!! it last forever in Amber glass, I’ve had some as old as a year and a half at 1.5mg nic that was still just as good.
#68 by lambu, Aug 24. 2018, 20:19
Really nice vape.
I used SolubArome Forest fruit and no sweetener.
Shake and vape.
Thanks a lot.
#69 by FrederikDV, Aug 27. 2018, 10:09
Cactus is never a shake and vape, steeping is min 3 weeks.
#70 by Tony R., Aug 27. 2018, 16:49
Have you tried it FrederikDV?
#71 by FrederikDV, Aug 27. 2018, 18:11
Yes, a receipt of me with only 1,5% of 16% and 5 other flavours.
#72 by Fog_Apocalypse, Oct 24. 2018, 01:10
Really nice recipe I mixed it at a lower percentage though. 4% berry and 1% cactus with monk's fruit extraction as sweetener
#73 by FrederikDV, Oct 24. 2018, 01:28
Indeed, I tried it and the cactus is not anymore a strong taste after steeping but becomes like fruity flavor, like all other vegetables and flowers, and plants, that's what I try this moment, receipes will follow and I understand that some people will ad less% but after 3 I will say, it's vapable, after 6 weeks it's much better but I think everyone knows that.
#74 by emiilee, Nov 20. 2018, 12:31
Just mixed this up and both the hubby and I love it has a bit of a bubble gum vibe to me that I really enjoy
#75 by gwarboy2000, Dec 13. 2018, 01:44
Idk if its just me but this mix reminds me of sicboy triple g

Great recipe mate i adapted it slightly to my tastes, but the flavour profile is as your original recipe. 5 *
#83 by Jellybean, Feb 11. 2019, 11:07
Five stars from me as well 👌 wasn’t keen on forest fruits until I tried your recipe. Which does get better with a longer steep. Thank you ☺️
#84 by Ron the Don, Feb 17. 2019, 12:29
This has no right to work at those percentages but it does!! Haven't liked a FA fruits forest recipe yet so was going to bin it but wow. This combo with cactus is amazing. Defo going into my ADV rotation. Thanks for sharing.
#85 by QusaiJ, Mar 11. 2019, 17:11
I saw Forest Fruit, doesn't taste like perfume or acid? I tried this flavor in many many combinations and variations, it was always taste like perfume for me even at lower % like 2 or 1. so, is this problem happened to anyone? it's weird, especially when i see people enjoy it standalone at 3-4%!
#86 by DC Originals, Mar 12. 2019, 00:08
Ive ordered forest fruit from wizard labs and bull city flavors and its always had good experiences with it.
#87 by Jabez, Mar 13. 2019, 18:22
Very nice recipe. It has become one of my ADV in rotation.
#88 by Mike, Mar 14. 2019, 22:03
OMG I want to kiss you right now I have been paying $20 a 60ml at a local vape shop for Fitzcelli e-liquid and am now a little pissed that this is such a simple recipe but spot on identical to Fitzcelli amazing recipe by no means should this work at those percentages but it does and it is so good I just mixed up 200mls and will definitely be making more how does it keep not that I see it lasting long as it is now my ADV thank you so much VPN E-Liquids will no longer be getting my money
#89 by DC Originals, Mar 15. 2019, 15:48
Thats awesome!! I'm glad you like it as much as we do.
#90 by az445, Mar 19. 2019, 22:42
This is awesome simple and another use for cactus. Thanks
#91 by Joni, Mar 20. 2019, 22:02
Very good. Just whipped up a 30ml and followed recipe exactly. I will be keeping this in my rotation for sure.
#92 by Just Mixing, May 12. 2019, 02:57
Spectacular!!!
#93 by G-Fog, May 30. 2019, 01:27
Great mix, thanks DC
#94 by Majistir, Jun 13. 2019, 15:51
Mixed up a small 30ml of this 2 days ago. It's strange at first but I really like it! Giving it a shot for my ADV and can see it getting better with age.
FYI my current ADV is a diy version on thug juice (aka jungle juice). Been vaping that for around 6 years straight trying new mixes and premades with no success.

So thank you DC for sharing! I have now mixed up 250ml of this cactus tropical to really put it to the test. I added 1% of WS-23 for that extra kick.
#95 by DC Originals, Jun 13. 2019, 16:50
Glad you are enjoying it. I love jungle juice as well.
#96 by Tuffy, Jun 17. 2019, 11:54
i will try with Harvest Berry (CAP) bcouse where i live dont have forest fruits. and maybe down a bit the 6% bcouse Capella have tendencies to be strongest then FA. what you think?
#97 by DC Originals, Jun 17. 2019, 18:21
I tried harvest berry years ago and was not fond of it myself but nothing wrong with giving it a try.
#98 by spyCsalmon, Oct 17. 2019, 18:31
Followed the recipe exactly, steeped it for 10 days (unintentionally) and it turned out phenomenal!!

Fantastic recipe! Great job!

My only concern is how it will age. 10% FF is a lot higher than most people recommend for the flavor but I was thinking the FF isn't even that strong at 10%... I'm thinking like 12-13% or maybe less cactus strengthen the fruits. Not sure. I'll have to play around with the values and see how it goes.

Easily an ADV and a new fav! 5/5
#99 by DC Originals, Oct 17. 2019, 23:36
Thank you much. I can tell you with low nicotine it’s good for over a year in a glass amber bottle.
#100 by fossill, Nov 3. 2019, 05:38
Made a batch when i first seen this recipe,First thought the % was way to high.Steep for a week was to bad but wasn't crazy about it.
Then came across it again and decide to do another,But this time dropped the Nic from 8% down to what is used in this recipe and Bang what a difference in taste very nice and refreshing.
#101 by Tony R., Nov 3. 2019, 15:47
My ADV for more than a year now!
#102 by DC Originals, Nov 4. 2019, 04:09
Awesome I still vape it all the time myself, glad y’all are enjoying it!!
#103 by spyCsalmon, Nov 4. 2019, 22:39
It was great for the first few weeks but after about a month, the flavor changed dramatically and not in a good way... I'm guessing that the cactus at 2.5% is too high... I think if you cut the FF and cactus in half, it might still preserve the flavor profile but it might age better. I'll report back after trying that
#104 by DC Originals, Nov 4. 2019, 23:26
I make it at 1.5 nicotine in a glass amber bottle and to me it does not change even up to 12 months old. I’ve not aged it in higher nicotine concentrates tho.
#105 by QusaiJ, Nov 5. 2019, 08:27
Did anyone try it in 70/30 and higher nic like 4.5?
#106 by Curtis, Dec 2. 2019, 20:44
My new ADV! Thanks for the recipe!

Just whipped up a 60ml of this, and wow was a surprised. Such a simple recipe and while I thought the cactus was waaaaaaay too high I stand corrected. Great recipe, currently vaping this at 35 watts on a 5 wrap simple clapton .90 coil in my billet box. Delicious 😋

Will a small % of super sweet be suffice for this recipe?
#120 by Al, Aug 3. 2020, 22:45
Simply delicious right out of the box. Among the best of aliquots I have tasted over the last 10 years of vaping
#121 by Elitegundam , Aug 7. 2020, 15:36
Was looking for a good forest fruit recipe, and I think you nailed it. Great shake and vape, though I think the cactus is a little high, fruits aren't coming through very well. Made 100ml though, so hopefully it gets better with a bit of a steep.
#122 by therpj3, Sep 21. 2020, 10:40
Made no changes. Steeped for two days before testing on an RDA @ 420F. Seems well balanced, we’ll see what happens with further steeping but I’m starting to think I should’ve mixed more of this stuff.
#123 by RedHotJohn, Oct 8. 2020, 19:09
I am used to buying 30ml premixed aroma shots that amount to 120ml of finished liquid after adding base, and I'm wondering: How can these seemingly small percentages of flavor even be enough for, say, my ready-to-vape 90/10 VG/PG base?
Just a curious question. Would love to start making some of these recipes!
#124 by TheJuiceFairy, Oct 9. 2020, 03:44
I still vape this! Still good! 😂
#125 by TheJuiceFairy, Oct 9. 2020, 03:48
@RedHotJohn it’s a lot more concentrated than a premixed aroman (one shot) trust me this is very flavorful even at Max VG. In fact it’s almost unbelievable that he used as high of a % as he did and that it turns out so good with no crazy offensive notes.
#126 by RedHotJohn, Oct 9. 2020, 07:11
@TheJuiceFairy that's just great, thanks! Will HAVE to try out this one, because it's been too long since I had a Cactus juice. Cactus is just such an underused flavor IMO!

Soon as I seen TheJuiceFairy in the comments I knew this was a great recipe and ran to mix it up. Yep, can confirm lol. Using it in the Caliburn right now MTL 50/50 12mg and its great. Gonna mix up a 70/30 3mg batch for the rda later and see how that is but good MTL recipe for sure.

I made a 15ml tester of this when I woke up this morning. Dropped the cactus to 2% and subbed in super sweet at .5%. This is so good! Vaping it about 4 hours after the mix and I’m amazed how something so simplistic works so well.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback, I’ve had an injury to my back and have had to step away from mixing. My wife is keeping us going she took over the mixing. Stay safe everyone and thank you all for keeping this healthy alternative up and alive!!

Idk know what planet I'm on but %10 Forest Mix was horrible. It's not for everybody.

Just mixed up 45mL (for thorough shake in 60mL unicorn type). I did 63/37, 3% nic, sub Cap SS, flavor/sweetener% TTR (True to Recipe), GeekVape Zeus Tank - 73W @ .2Ω after 2-hour pocket steep. Man, that's lip-smackin good. Sweet & juicy with tons of flavor. I was already a fan of Forest Fruit but that cactus just sets it off. A match made in heaven. Strawberry & cactus come through on the exhale. Strawberry taste is reminiscent of Cap Sweet Strawberry. Oddly enough, I finally pick up on the slight mustyness in the background that some ppl have noticed with Forest Fruit. I didn't know what they were talking about before but I get it now. It's very very slight. That said, my tank is now empty and I can no longer see more than a couple feet in front of me so I think that means I like it. ★★★★☆
