I've never used either. is it fresh juice or plastic lemon juice. will the flavor diminish over time or does it still stay strong? I'm try to make red drop from mountain oak vapors, and I can't get it. I have tried all my FA limes and It missing the stong lime flavor. tried sour, still a miss. maybe this will be the missing zing it needs.
Hey crystal, its freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice, i just squeeze it into a 8ml bottle and keep it in the fridge. I put it in after steeping, as it does diminish over time. Its really more of an enhancer than a flavor at those % it helps pop the other fruits in the mix. But you could totally try doubling it and adding it to your red drop mix. I would still use FA lime just lower it a little, and it will bring out the citric acid in the flavor more. (its great in keylime pie mix too). Hope that helps!
This would be awesome to clone because I really love the original. Do you think this would work for Sour? (Perfumers Apprentice: Sour 20%
This is a sour note that can be used with other flavors for a "sour-candy" effect.) Or do you guy's use something else for this?
Almost forgot how the shockers tasted, but your recipe made me remember all the good this about it !!! Still have to let it steep but I think this can be really good !!!
