I live in Mobile, AL which is where Mardi Gras was originated. The Banana Moon Pie is a staple of Mardi Gras so I had to make this flavor perfect. Even though it is very simple it is very good! Mix it up and let me know what you think...
No prob, glad you like it! This juice has been booming for me locally... So if you have the ingredients mix up a test batch, you won't be disappointed!!
Mablde this up a week ago and tried it over the weekend. Awesome juice already gone through 30ml of it. Will be mixing 120 when I get home. Great job and thanks for sharing.
The small amount of Graham is need to give the Sugar Cookie a slightly different feel. Id try a small test batch using the tfa cheese graham cracker crust at the same percentage, and if you have inawera biscuit id try at 0.1 per 30ml... The graham isnt necessarily needed for it to be good, but it adds another layer to complete the Moon Pie flavor... If you have some 10ml bottles i'd go that route then once tested you can go bigger... I'd also invest in some Graham Cracker just to have it around, I know CAP is more pricey but TFA GC Clear is like $5.75 for 120ml at onestopdiyshop.com
Very good! Had to do some subs but turned out great. And I wouldn't Skip the Graham it does add some really good notes to this recipe to complete it. Thx!
Tried the original recipe and really enjoyed ( still have been) it. It's one that stays in my rotation. I did re work it for one of my buddies he wanted a moon pie with a toasted marshmallow and I came up with this. Though I'd share as I really enjoy yours and wouldn't have came up with it with out this recipe. e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1404286/Banana+Moon+Pie
Your recipe is set as private so it won't allow me to look. I have made this with toasted mallow and a little toasted almond in the mix as well and it turned out good. This one just seemed to be the best way to go to capture the real Moon Pie flavor... I'd like to see what you come up with and try it though so let me know when i can view it...
TPA Mallow will be fine at the same %, I just like the FA version better myself, although I may be changing back to FW or TPA due to the FA price increase... Enjoy!
@ CloudyMotherChucker Thanks for the info. I like FA Marshmallow but I agree it is getting kind of pricey. I have a 4oz of TPA Marshmallow that's mostly full. Plus, FA Marshmallow reminds me of a Lucky Charms cereal type marshmallow and TPA tastes more like a typical marshmallow but that's just my taste buds.
@SwampKittens, TPA Toasted Marshmallow is good in this recipe as well. Just ordered some regular TPA Mallow to start playing with, it is a lot more affordable at $5.29 for 120ml...
Mixed this up today but substituted Banana Cream (LA) for the TPA as I like it better. Tastes very good as a S&V and imagine it will only get better as it steeps. Thank you for sharing!
Everyone's taste buds are different. I've had some say they only get Banana which is weird to me. A Banana Moon Pie mostly consists of 2 Sugar Cookies sandwiched with a thick Marshmallow Center, then dipped/coated with a thin layer of a Banana Cream. I was aiming for the Little Debby style moonpie and not the actual "Moonpie" brand pie. I feel like after at least 1-2 weeks of steeping, this recipe knocks that flavor profile out of the park and tastes more like the real thing than any other e-liquid i've vaped to date. Every time I drip this juice onto my coils and chuck a cloud of it I smile ear to ear knowing I concocted this sweet masterpiece and I say in my head(and sometimes out loud) "Damn I'm Good"... LOL
I really enjoy this recipe quite a bit. It's my go to juice. However, I would like a little more banana flavor.. Would upping the % of banana throw it off? Or would it be just heavier on the banana note? I steep 1-2 weeks every time I mix it.
I haven't found too many Banana Flavors that im too fond of besides TFA Banana Cream so far(well I like the LA version too). Most are too artificial or candyish. I have 3 dif suggestions you can try. 1st you can up the Banana Cream % a little and see where it goes. 2nd try using LA Banana Cream(colorless) in place of the TFA at same %. 3rd you can use TFA Ripe Banana and add ONLY a drop at a time to the mixture then test it. Be careful with that Ripe Banana cause it can quickly over power everything else. Well also 4th you can try using both TFA and LA Banana Cream half n half to make up the % needed. Let me know if any of these help out...
Hi I would really like to make this but Im only missing the graham cracker from Capella However I do have graham cracker from Flavor west But I was wondering if you could tell me what percentage I should use of the flavor west graham cracker or should I just hold off and Buy the Graham cracker from Capella
This looks really good. I was just looking up the original Moon Pie manufacturer to start my recipe, and you have it right by adding Graham. The real Original and Banana Moon Pies do use a Graham Cookie, not a classic Sugar Cookie! So, it belongs in the recipe. Yours is exactly what I had in mind to start mine, but I use all different brands. Glad this was a success!
Thank you guys and gals! I am very glad you all like my recipe. I decided to make a Banana Moon Pie during Mardi Gras here in Mobile. I searched for recipes and didnt find many, plus the ones I found didn't seem right to me even without mixing them. So I decided to just make one myself and I felt like I hit a homerun with it on the very first attempt which rarely happens with the first mix creating a new recipe. It looks like you guys think so as well. Thanks for mixing my creation!

Ive also found out that if you add 0.5ml per 30ml of CAP French Vanilla or CAP V. Custard it adds a nice subtle custard note that meshes very well in this recipe. I got this idea after trying Glas's Banana Cream Pie and it tasted A LOT like my recipe with a touch of Vanilla Custard added. #KeepItCloudy
Hi @ CloudyMotherChucker iam a big fan of Glas's Banana Cream Pie and i want to try your recipe. is yours as sweet as the OG Glas's Banana Cream Pie? iam just so afraid to try a recepi again and be disappointed.
Hands down my favourite banana recipe. Everything comes together so smoothly and balanced. Definitely into my top 5 rotation she goes. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for all of the awesome feedback and support of this recipe! It is def one of my pride and joys and I vape it all the time!!! I am so pleased to know that all of you people love it just as much as I do! The 5*'s speak for themselves! I have some things in the works that im hoping you guys/gals will enjoy just as much! -Chris aka CloudyMotherChucker
This recipe is a tried and true, never fail favorite! I mixed up 100 mls exactly as stated in the recipe and I wouldn't change a thing. PERFECTION! Thanks so much for sharing !
Before I got into DIY, my all day vape was VW RY4 mixed with Hold The Door (Banana Moon Pie) The two flavors complemented each other and brought out the best of both! When I started mixing my own, it was easy to replicate the RY4 but I was still buying the pre-made (Banana Moon Pie) to add. After seeing this recipe, I ordered the flavors from Nic River. The first batch I made was excellent. Exactly what I wanted to replace the commercial juice " Hold The Door". This recipe is spot on just as written. Now I mix up 1000 mls of RY4 and 1000 mls of this recipe at a time. I let them both steep a month and then combine the two. Nothing better! Many thanks!
Thanks to DIY or DIE's Wayne Walker for mixing my awesome recipe, and giving his feedback!!! I have been trying this recipe a little differently lately using 1/2 CAP Silver Whipped Marshmallow and 1/2 FA to complete the %age, a little extra flavoring on Marsh and Sugar Cookie 5ml to 120ml recipe and adding 1ml CAP French Vanilla to spice it up a little and using the same % of Banana Cream except using 1/2 TFA & 1/2 LA, Using 1.5ml Sugar Daddy sweetener rather than Super Sweet, and bumped the CAP Graham to 1.5ml. The change in flavors and percentages has worked out pretty well so you are more than welcome to give it a try and give me your feedback...
Thanks, CloudyMotherChucker
@CloudyMotherChucker I too, am not found of many nana recipes, as they always have just something that's off about them. Maybe to damn picky. This one however DOES hit it right out of the park, and then it keeps on going. 5/5. Even with the FA price increase, I think the recipe is best served by the FA Marshamallow.
I made this with and without the vanilla custard. I like both a lot. I have been searching for a while for a banana vape that I like and finally found it. Thank you for sharing!
Great taste and super versatile. Nice off the shake and even better over a week. Good with a 1.5 ohm coil or a monster setup in a Goon. You hit spot on, thanks for posting this one.
Maybe my banana cream is too old, or because it's been 6months since I made this and just now trying it, but not my favorite liquid... ill have to get a newer bottle of banana cream and try it again. Mine is 6yrs old...
