So after many mixes and months of trials and tribulations, I have finally cloned and actually cloned the juice. Even the pistachio tastes just right almost salty. Just like the original. You could probably up the percentage on the ry4 double if you don't have soho. Enjoy people. My search is over.
I have done mixes with cookie, cream and Carmel added. They taste good, makes it a little more deserty, buy it seems to take a bit away from the pistachio and the "saltiness" if that makes sense. I did one with graham cracker clear and one with black honey and those turned out good. Just recently did one with tiramisu that is probably my favorite alternative one I have done. Definitely can add things to switch it up.
Update: This came out really nice I mixed the original , excellent I'm now interested in your Tiramisu recipe. How much did you use? Can you share the recipe?
I had everything except Pistachio, I subbed it with TFA Toasted Almond at the same percentage. I'm sure the pistachio is very important in this mix, but even with the Toasted Almond Sub, it is now one of my ADV's which is not easy to happen lol. Great mix, hopefully will try it out soon with the Pistachio. The mix of Soho and RY4 Double is nice, it tones down some of the high notes of the RY4 Double and I can now taste tobacco'ish notes that I never noticed in RY4 Double. To add a bit more of a tobacco kick I may add INW Tobacco Virginia with a touch of Guaruda. Great job. Will try to comment again after I buy Pistachio.
I will have to give the toasted almond a shot. Yeah really loving the blend of ry4 and soho. Just did one with banana cream and graham cracker clear that turned out super good
I love both RY4D and Soho, RY4D has this high note that I get tired of, but Soho seemed to have mellow it out. It's a good base, the meringue really tied the two together nicely also.
Do you mean The Virginia Absolute? I added INW Virginia Absolute to my mix and it adds a tobacco and light ash. But subbing soho for that would probably make it less sweet and less nutty. If there is flavor called Tobacco Virginia from INW that isn't the Absolute, then I am not sure. I do know you can sub Soho with S'camel since they are both pretty much the same flavor profile.
@Roman1_16, I did find out there is a Inawera Virginia Tobacco, but there also is a Tobacco Absolute Virginia. Subbing for the Virginia TA in my opinion might not work well since it's very minimal sweetness. Good that you ordered Soho, it's a good flavor on it's own and does very well in this mix!
Tuma not sure if they carry it, if you can't find it on wizardlabs you can find it on bullcityvapor.com or nicotineriver. I've ordered from bullcity for several years they are a good place to buy and nicotineriver is also well known.
jaysun I ordered it from bullcity already. it sucks cause I make 3 different Charlie Noble clones and I get all my stuff from wizardlabs except this one flavor.
Yeah I know. It gets a little annoying having to get different flavors from different vendors since one usually doesn't carry them all. I do get 95% of mine from bullcity as their shipping is the fastest, but it does appear that ecig express and nicotine river carry the biggest selection.
speaking of shipping I doubt ill be using wizardlabs anymore after my order gets here. I ordered on the 26th and got an email on the 28th from them saying my order was shipped. since then every time I go on ups' site it says shipping label created, when package arrives we will send out tracking info. I don't know how far the ups place is from wizard labs but I'm sure they could of gotten it to them within 4 days. as far as I know nicotine doesn't fair to good in heat and they are located in florida.
Oh wow, yeah. That's bad. Have heard bad things about wizard labs nic, so have never ordered from them. (Just things I have heard, have no experience, but now hearing yours, another bad thing never ordering from them for sure.) yeah I get my nic from vaperstek. Fast shipping very good nic. Nude is good but no one ships nic faster then vaperstek and it's really good. Wish bullcity still carried nic then I could just shop there. But don't have to order so much. Plus lately been making due with the flavors I have to keep vaping spending to a minimum. Was getting out of hand for a while there
havent tried the original but ive been vaping this and only this in my MTL setup for the last week or so. usually I go through 2-3 different juices per day so this says how much i love this recipe. 5 stars from me
This is so close to the original, I love it! Steeped this for 3 weeks (kind of forgot I had the stuff) and it predominately had a sweet pistachio flavours, with the tobaccos as a nice back note.
Once I get some FA Soho I will be giving this a try. I'm not so sure the real one uses tfa ry4d. If it does then there is another caramel element in it. It has a very deep and rich caramel compared to juices I've made with ry4d. Does the FA Soho give it that taste? The meringue is also an interesting choice in here. I'm about to start trying to clone pistachio ry4 and I was thinking maybe they had used holy holy grail ry4 which is said to be possibly the best ry4 with a great caramel.
I can tell you this from personal experience: Charlie Noble will actually ship their Pistachio RY4 as early as 2 weeks from the Born-On-Date printed on the bottle. So 2 weeks should be perfect!
Going to mix this up today..thanks for posting it..oh and for those using Wiz labs nic...I've been using it, and only it for about 5 yrs or more...no problems with mine..stocked my freezer as well..✌
Good god. 2 weeks steeping, the ry4 still harsh for me and i decide to add 2 weeks in my drawer. After full month steeping, oh my god, this will be my ADV for sure. And preety sure this still evolve with time. Thanks mate.
Hello! I'm vaping since 2014, but just pre made one shots, so this will be my first proper diy e liquid. I have ordered all ingredients. I will use it for mtl vaping and my sweet spot is 60/40VPG. I'm just curious, if this juice is sweet? Bad for coils? I'm not familiar with soho and meringue. Will also try with tiramisu and vanilla swirl. Or maybe even a drop of some coffee, if tiramisu loses that dark note, after time. Thanks for simple recipe and inspiration.
This one is really good. After 2weeks pistachio was stronger and I could taste more coffee. Now after 5weeks, ry4 is stronger and almost none coffee and even pistachio is weak. I will definitely mix this one again, but I would rather mix smaller amounts more frequently. I also added 1%vanila swirl and 0.75%tiramisu. Overall great.
I almost tossed this one out after the first week, but after 3-4 weeks I tried it again. It has now become one of my favorites away from the custards I like so much. I just made a much larger batch because this is so good with a proper steep. Probably a really good one for the drinkers, too.
