DIY Halo - Kringle's Kurse Clone ejuice recipe

04/22/15 - Made 13ml and put in cupboard to breathe overnight.
Today, it's very strong and is very close to the Kringle juice I just gave my son last week because he loves it. I think my son will be very happy with this clone when he's done with that 30ml.

Try Marshmallow instead of the sweetener, @fuctfuct !! Marshmallow makes a great sweetener @1-2%

Made this for my mom (she a menthol vaper/ex-smoker). This is actually much better than the real Kringle's Curse imo (I wasn't expecting it to be this good). It is much smoother, more balanced, better flavor notes and classier. It's better than the real Menthol Ice too imo. Love the hint of creme in it. Very good juice.

Giving this one a try. I've been making just a pprmint/koolada. Just got my c-d'mint today. I'm gonna try w/o sweetner first, then add if needed.

Gave it a vape right after mixing. wow !! very strong on the menthol. I added sweetner even tho I said I wasn't going to... I did add it after all. glad I did. I'll let it steep a few days as suggested. Good stuff tho. I think this will be a regular at my house. Might do just a little less menthol next time.

Love, love, love this! This is a perfect, creamy, minty, ice cold vape! After vaping my first 30ml's of this in record time I immediately mixed up 150mls. This one definitely makes it into my daily rotation and is the perfect ADV for anyone who loves mint/menthol. Beautiful!

There is a bitter taste that I was not getting from Halo's one. That was sweet. I tried vaping each ingredient separately and I do not get this bitter taste from any one of them. All TFA. Any idea Alisa?

Not sure what is causing your 'bitterness'. I let sit overnight uncapped, then cap and shake once a day for two days before I send it to my son in the mail. So, it may need aging 2-3 days before you get the full flavor effect. Also, I use CAP Methol for this recipe normally. Not sure what difference the TPA would have on it.

Would that turn pink without nicotine, Badelle? I have never seen Halo's ones turn pink.

What would I need to do to increase sweetness? Even 5% sweetener did not help. 10% peppermint alone with 2% sweetener without other ingredients tastes sweet though.

I am sick and tired of overpriced Halo crap. After spending $400 in a month for something that probably costs $7 to produce, I said "this is getting stupid". These recipes are good. I got some great slightly burnt aftertaste when there was vanilla in the coil and I filled Kringle's. I will try to do something with peppermint and vanilla to reproduce it :)

I'm not sure Crow, I've never made it without nic. This is in my daily rotation and I make it by the 250ml. The menthol is a bit harsh if you shake and vape but give it a week or two, basically until it turns pink, and it's perfection. I can't go without it.

@Alisa I'm sure you get sick of these questions but I can't get the Peppermint in TPA, do you think it would work ok with Capella? I'm not a menthol fan and have never made a menthol juice but wanting to make some up for a friend who is trying to get off the cigs!

I would do the CAP version of Peppermint, if that's what I had. But, you may want to order some TFA next time you order flavorings, as the TFA version of Peppermint is just bolder, and more peppermint than candy cane, like the CAP version.

1.00% 50% Menthol Crystals (By Weight)
3.00% Creme de Menthe (TPA)
1.50% Marshmallow (TPA)
8.00% Peppermint (TPA)
0.15% Super Sweet (CAP)
1.50% WS-23 30%

This is how I plan on mixing this up when I get home from work today. How does it look? Any changes you'd suggest? What are your thoughts on adding a touch of vanilla to this? Maybe 1.5% marshmallow already imparts the "touch of vanilla" I was going for, but I'm not really sure. Thanks for posting this by the way!

Recipe looks good, but if you want some vanilla flavor added, the marshmallow won't do it. I'm not sure any vanilla could be noticed at all, as the mints are so strong. Please let us know what you come up with.

Been looking for alternative recipes after discovering that I can't taste strawberry :( I have to say that this is the BEST menthol liquid I have tried to date. Perfectly balanced IMO. Well done and kudo's.

This has been one of my go to recipes. I've made the original and altered slightly to use Polar Blast instead of Koolada and alternate between CAP and FW Menthol. I have never had it turn pink..however I did have straight Creme de Menthe test.

In my latest version, I added 2% Vanilla Shisha INW. It is good, I may drop it down to 1.5% as it is very pronounced.

Perfect KK clone, I believe Halo uses marshmallow a lot. FW Sweet made it way better and tastier, Great Choice, make this a lot for menthol vapors...thanks!!!

Made this a few days ago, and it's perfect. Tastes a lot like candy cane. Subbed koolada with ws-23 and it's awesome. Also on pod and this is totally pod certified with no alterations

Not bad. But I'm still not getting any candycane peppermint flavor. It taste more like spearmint gum.
