#8 by Laberythm, Aug 6. 2017, 21:08
Only 3 days steep and already tastes very good.
#9 by Mete, Aug 7. 2017, 01:25
10 days step...tastes so sweet for me...whats wrong? i dont understand
#10 by Laberythm, Aug 7. 2017, 21:13
@ Mete Probably nothing wrong. At 3 days is a litle bit sweet to me too but I have read that DNB needs about 2 to 3 weeks to start have this ashy taste. I think this is why Vladimiros says 3 weeks steep.
#11 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Aug 8. 2017, 08:26
Guys, allmost all the tobacco flavours need at least 3 weeks to get the full potental of them . There are some sweet notes in this recipe but not as high as Mete says. DNB indeed needs at least 20 days steeping. Please tell me what you thnk after full steeping. Thanks.
#12 by Mete, Aug 8. 2017, 09:18
Thanks Stafylidis.I will waiting 2-3 weeks.i was try yesterday and little bit sweet taste.

#15 by Rashed, Aug 22. 2017, 20:18
can i use 12 mg of nicotine with this recipe? Will it test different? I use 40W in SSOCC.
#16 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Aug 22. 2017, 20:46
Rashed I believe that this one certainly goes well with the nicotine flavour.
#17 by Rashed, Aug 22. 2017, 21:08

#20 by Rashed, Aug 26. 2017, 06:37
mixed today. is there any way to speedup the steeping process?
Mate did you get "ashy and strong cigarette" vape out of this juice?
#21 by Rashed, Sep 17. 2017, 08:24
I have tested mine today and it is very good. It is very close to real lite cigarette.
I have couple of question
I like to increase the tobacco note little more. What I need to do?
what gives it ashy taste?
I have other flavor that I like such as Western and 555 Gold. I like to add the ashy test to those. Any recommendation how much should I use?
Thanks again for this AWESOME recipe
#22 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Sep 17. 2017, 09:06
Thank you Radhed. The adhy taste comes from dnb tobacco (inw) . You can use the same amount 0.5% of this flavor in your tobacco recipes to give them that ashy taste. It's important to steep at least 3 weeks when use dnb.

Hy Vladimiros. Quick question. Can I sub something for Dark Vapure? Impšossible to get except 100ml but that way too much. Thank you.
#35 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Jan 31. 2018, 20:11
No David, unfortunatelly you can't.
#36 by David, Feb 2. 2018, 17:56
Thank you. Tell me something please...if I make 10ml of aroma and dilute it with 10ml of VG and let it sit for 4 weeks and then mix it 90ml of VG...do I have to steep again, or would it work? Thank you. All the best m8
#37 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Feb 16. 2018, 22:24
David, the various commercial mixshots/oneshots have almost an equal amount of flavours and PG in the bottle and they are steeping for at least 2 weeks before the customer finally put the rest of the prefered vg/pg base. That way a pre-steep is achieved reducing the needed total time of steeping. So, I believe 7-10 days will be enough after you mix your "stone" with the rest of the base.
#38 by Blakfinger, Mar 7. 2018, 21:26
Hi Stafylidis. I love this taste but I love very strong flavors. Is it possible to double all 3 % (DV 3%, PB 3%, DNB 1%) ?
Thank you!
#39 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Mar 8. 2018, 07:53
Yes Blakfnger, you can.
#40 by Blakfinger, Mar 8. 2018, 14:56
Thanks Star... Excellent job! Congratulations!
#41 by Elites, Apr 15. 2018, 04:49
@Stafylidis Vladimiros I really love this one and going to make 240ml (as that the only empty bottle I have right now). Thanks so much for sharing your recipes.
#42 by Carlos, Jul 6. 2018, 12:12
Great ejuice. This is very close to a real cigarette.
Very well balanced. Thank you for this recipe
#43 by drifter93, Aug 24. 2018, 11:37
#44 by drifter93, Aug 24. 2018, 12:21
Ή ίσως και λίγο virginia; Επίσης παίζει να έχεις δοκιμάσει το ursula; Και αν ναι, σκοπεύεις να φτιάξεις κάτι παρόμοιο με αυτό; Ή αν υπάρχει κάτι ήδη να μου το προτείνεις;
#45 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Aug 24. 2018, 16:11
drifter93, και τα δυο αρώματα ταιριάζουν δίνοντας βέβαια διαφορετικό χαρακτήρα.
#46 by Vapedigi, Oct 9. 2018, 04:57
Can't find the Tobacco, DNB (Dirty Neutral Base) (INAWERA) anywhere around here, this essence changed the name !?!?! there's any tobacco essence close to this one from TPA, Capella, TA !?!?!

Really thanks guys very anxious to test this juice :)
#47 by leo1, Nov 20. 2018, 19:37
Vapedigi, same problem here!!
#48 by Vapedigi, Nov 25. 2018, 22:48
I didn't found the Dark Vapure (FA) nor the Tobacco, DNB (Dirty Neutral Base) (INAWERA). Those changed the name or are discontinued flavors !?
#49 by Elites, Nov 25. 2018, 23:13
Check nicotineriver.com they have both of them
#50 by Ahmed Amin, Jan 22. 2019, 10:02
Can i use (30/70 PG/VG) base?
#51 by msait, Feb 15. 2019, 21:30
Ahmed Amin, I've just steeped two batches with 40/60 and 30/70 PG/VG. Both are wonderful.
#52 by Sr.Silva, Feb 19. 2019, 02:31
I did not find this essence:DNB (Dirty Neutral Base) (INAWERA)
I can substitute for another?
#53 by Mixtard, Feb 28. 2019, 12:16
DnB is hard to find, even old faithful Bull City don't stock it. I've just ordered 2 bottles from Vapour Eyes in Australia(at great expense) and will mix this as soon as the DnB arrives. Can't wait.
#54 by Ltsakev, Apr 3. 2019, 14:08
can the nicotine drops be added later?
#55 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Apr 3. 2019, 14:10
@Ltsakev, yes of course
#56 by butmena, May 2. 2019, 20:29
how often should i shake it? every day?
#57 by st0yk3r, Jun 3. 2019, 21:39
I've made it with nic salt - 12 mg/ml and it's great after only 5 days. Looking forward to how's gonna turn after 3 weeks :) Taste is like best premium cigarette
#58 by delltrapp, Jul 30. 2019, 10:52
I mixed this about 2 months ago and the bottle fell to the back of my cupboard when steeping. I just found it 2 days ago and WOW!! A great tobacco vape!
#59 by hugo.cesca, Sep 19. 2019, 01:13
Hi, that was my first time making my own e-juice and I bought all the ingredients from ecigexpress.com.
The final product tastes really Harsh and spicy, impossible to vape...
I used a good scale to measure the ingrediants, so the proportion it's right.
You guys have any idea of what could happened?
#60 by TheAngryImp, Oct 15. 2019, 19:21
@ Hugo - have you let it steep? Most Tobaccos take a good three weeks.

@Stafylidis - I'm gonna be honest I returned to vaping at the start of the year and have only been mixing for a couple of months. I've struggled to completely stop smoking (although I had cut down considerably) I would usually give in to cravings after mealtimes.

This recipe has changed all that. I'm only 4 days into being completely smoke-free but it's all thanks to your recipe. It takes away my cravings because it feels so authentic.

I've only had this steeping for three weeks and there is a slightly sweet accent but I'm certain this will fade over time. If I can make it last that long!

Thank you!
#61 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Oct 15. 2019, 22:02
@TheAngrylmp I'm very glad that you found something keeping you away from smoking !
#62 by Me8odios, Nov 27. 2019, 22:01
Even after a month of steeping, it was quite sweet. Today, after two months, it's ok. The sweetness is subtle, all in all a smooth and minimal vape @ 15 watts. Thank you, Vlad!
#63 by Fezz, Jan 25. 2020, 21:33
@Stafylidis Vladimiros I have only DIYed TFA ry4 double, and that's just too sweet for my liking. If say ry4 is at level 10 out of 10 for sweetness, what level of sweetness would this recipe be? I'm hoping this recipe is no more than 1 or 2 out of 10, as I thought ry4 was just too sweet boarding on unpleasantness. Thanks and cheers!
#64 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Jan 30. 2020, 07:53
@fezz really can't say but it's the less sweet from what I've tried. Ypu can add some bitter wizard (fa) or/and bitters (vta) if you still find it sweet. You can also try e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1244942/Old%20Habits.
#65 by darkcrocodile, Feb 17. 2020, 16:34
The ashy taste is too strong for me.
#66 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Feb 17. 2020, 16:58
darkcrocodile, this recipe "is too ashy" for you and another recipe of mine (Goofy's Juice) "is too sweet" for you ? No ratings, comments on any other recipe. Just 3 stars on my recipes. Your mission is accomplished !
#67 by darkcrocodile, Feb 18. 2020, 09:42
Hellp Stafylidis I don't know if giving you a feedback on your recipes is a mission but let me explain better. For one I never rate or comment on recipes i haven't tried. I've got godmother currently steeping and I will let you know what I think when it is done. About the two recipes which I rated on and commented on I stand by my opinion but i will be more precise and am sorry if you are offended by my 3 out of 5 ratings. Both Macho and Goofy are in my opinion overloaded in flavour. The concentration is too strong. Both have too much dominance of a single flavour over the others- Macho: the ashy taste and Goofy: The sweetness created by the different sweet flavours you use in your recipe. To me a balanced recipe should not attract attention this way to a single taste. I know most of the current commercial formulas which are being sold especially in the United States are saturated. Goofy is similar to "La chose" from France which is a very successful eliquid. I however cannot vape it for long as it quickly becomes boring to me lacking the nuances which I am looking for in vaping. To put things in perspective I think most commercial juices fall in between the 1-3 category rating. Giving you a 5 would mean you are as good as for exemple "Red Skin" by Absolu which shows a mastery of colours not found in these two recipes. Again sorry if you have been offended but I truly think that a 3 rating is decent and is better than an empty 5 one as they are promising recipes with room for improvement.
#68 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Feb 18. 2020, 11:39
darkcrocodile, the reason I overreacted is because so many times in the past some guys with fake profiles gave a low rating only in my recipes. I saw your brief comment only on my two recipes, with a 3 star rating and that you haven't upload any recipes. So, I thought that the history is repeating and that was the same case.
Obviously I misunderstood and I apologise for that. I respect everyones opinion and in fact I agree with some of the points you made. Both recipes are quite basic and old. It's more like a combo base to build upon something more complex. Personally I don't find them pretty intense but it's ok. I only wish you had the chance to try some of my commercial series called "Steampunk" and you'll see that I'm a huge fan of well-balanced and adequately complex flavours. "Goofy's juice" is included in the first series too.
#69 by darkcrocodile, Feb 18. 2020, 11:52
Thank you for your reply Stafylidis. I'll order a "steampunk". Which other recipies you have made available on this site and are more current? I'd love to try something you've compiled recently.
#70 by Stafylidis Vladimiros, Feb 18. 2020, 12:13
I haven't made available any recipes since a long time.ago and that reminds me that I should do something about. In the last year I developed recipes entirely for my series and for some custom needs.
#71 by Elites, Feb 18. 2020, 23:42
One the best tobacco type recipe and my friend loved it. Thanks for sharing with us
#72 by Blakfinger, Feb 19. 2020, 00:43
IMHO the best tobacco recipe by far in ELR. I like strong flavors so I have doubled the % of the 3 flavors respecting exactly their proportions. Amazing recipe and perfect after 30 days+ steeping.
Trying to quit nicotine I have made the recipe with 6mg, 3mg and today with 0mg Nic. The 3 versions are excellent. CONGRATULATIONS !!!
#73 by Vross, Apr 27. 2020, 01:26
Stafylidis, thank you for your reply to my earlier message. Would you think Dark Vapure can be subbed by FA Latakia or INW Black For Pipe? If not, is the Perique Black good as a standalone with DNB? If yes, what percentages of PB work best in a standalone mix? PS: I read somewhere FA Latakia is quite similar to Dark Vapure.
#74 by Ali, Jul 26. 2020, 19:54
5 stars. Thank you
#75 by JoG.co, Apr 1. 2021, 11:14
Can i sub the tobacco with another brand ? Because i can't find it in my country
