Notes
Nice nutty vape. Personally I don't care for Nonna's Cake so I sub 3% Cookie FA I also like to add 1% FW hazelnut

Dan, I found your recipe quite by accident. You have a real gem if you only make two adjustments. 1. Drop the percentage of FA Hazelnut to .15%. Anything higher makes it bitter and overpowering. 2. Lower the Torrone to between .20-.50%. Like Hazelnut, It's a potent flavor and will take over a mix if you aren't careful. Do those two things, and I'd be willing to bet your recipe will be awesome!
Hope that helps!

@Chapel ya your right, I dropped both of those in my notes but never made it to the recipe. Iv'e been making a lot of recipes lately and totally forgot about this one. Ya the FA Hazelnut is way strong no doubt. I don't normally mix with it, but I wanted to keep the recipe all FA.Anywho, thanks for your input.

@Chapel, hey bro, I forgot that I traded Nona's Cake for FA's Cookie. Do you think it will work in this recipe? If so, what % do you think would work?
#7 by Chapel, Oct 8. 2017, 19:44
Yes, Dan, It will definitely work! Keep it at the same percentage!
#8 by Dan the Man, Oct 8. 2017, 23:22
Awesome. Sorry I assumed you were a bro. Now I am assuming you are not.

I am so glad you like it. It has a special something that makes you want to vape it.

I mixed this earlier today, as a snv its not bad, how long do u recommend steeping?
I subbed nonnas for 3% Cookie FA like u suggested as I dont have that one yet but everything else is the same.
For my taste I think it would be even better with a touch more meringue or adding a little marshmallow or similar but it will probably change with a couple week steep.
#17 by Dan the Man, Sep 15. 2019, 15:45
I would say anywhere from 14 to 21 days and if you think it would be better for your taste buds with more Meringue and or you want some Marshmallow, then I say go for it. I am definitely not one of those mixers that say's "you can't change anything or you can change stuff but it just won't be the same". If you were a new mixer I would have some advice thrown in but I am sure you already know that it might change the taste but it won't change the "profile". Besides, I think your right. It could profit with a touch more Meringue. Anywho, I hope you come back and let us know what you did and if it worked out for you. Maybe you could rate it? Not that it's a big deal but It WOULD be cool to have a recipe with 4 ratings even if one is mine. LOL πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Hope you enjoy.
PEACE

Awesome I probably wont try anything until its steeped and go from there, I really dont understand mixers like that as everyone's taste buds are different!
That's it I just prefer that little bit sweater side of vapes, even something like 2% fa premium custard would probably work in here too.
I will do my best to remember to let u know if I make some changes and if it turns out any good or not. I appreciate the reply hopefully the rating works.

It could for sure benefit from some premium custard. I only recently picked some up and it's going into almost all of my new custard recipes. I like it best with 2.5% INW. Custard and 1.65 FA Premium Custard. But like you said everybody's taste buds a different.

If you like the sweeter side of things, have you tried Sugar Daddy regular sweetener? It's really quite good and doesn't gunk coils as bad as the other sweeteners.

Oh, you did it! I hope you like it, otherwise, you'll have to go back and mark it down. πŸ˜βœŒπŸ‘€

Premium custard is so good isnt it, I dont have inw custard yet but plan to grab some in the future.

No I haven't tried it I usually just use a bit of supersweet, sounds like I should try it.
If I dont mind something snv I will usually like it more once it steeps!

Hi! Would FW hazelnut do instead of FA?
#23 by Dan the Man, Dec 16. 2020, 18:09
@kamanza Hi to you too! Yes, indeed FW hazelnut will indeed work here. I would probably use it at 1 to 1.5 percent starting. If you really want to taste it I would bring it to 2 and then from there you can do whatever you need to. FW Hazelnut is my favorite and I would have used it here but I wanted to keep it all FA. Good luck.
#24 by kamanza, Jul 19. 2021, 21:27
Mixed it with Cookie instead of Nonna's & FW Hazelnut & it did not impress at first, but gradually it grew on me & now it is an every day vape. 5 stars.
BTW is Sugsr Daddy you were talking about a TBV flavor?
#25 by Dan the Man, Aug 31. 2021, 14:19
Hey there Kananza; I just got this message today on 8/31/2021 and it looks like you commented a month ago. Weird...

Anywho, yes, Sugar Daddy is a TBV flavor. It can be had at wizard labs and NomNomz out of the UK. I only know that because I went to find out but I don't know what TBV stands for, could you tell me?
