Three week minimum. This is my take on a barrel aged custard, with just a touch of smoke and Brandy for depth and spice. It might interest you to know that, Layton Blend; though considered a tobacco flavor, changes with the percentage used! At 1.5% as in this recipe, Layton Blend is a Soft (SOFT!!) Clove with a fluffy vanilla. This flavor has a lot of potential uses, but here, it just gives a bit of spice that blends amazingly well with the Oak Wood and Black Fire. Enjoy!
