I just ordered stuff to try this mix...but I got cap bubblegum.
#2 by willchwn , Jun 17. 2015, 18:03
Whats best steeping time for you?
#3 by tbt127, Jun 17. 2015, 19:54
Everything seems to take different amounts of time, but generally everything tastes better after 2-3 days...btw...grape candy is great by itself too at 10% flavoring!
#4 by willchwn , Jun 17. 2015, 22:55
Im looking for a gum close to grape big league chew
#5 by tbt127, Jun 18. 2015, 14:44
I don't quite remember what big league chew tastes like, but this mix reminds me of grape bubbleyum or Bubblicious, still very good!!!
#6 by Yan Suarez, Jun 30. 2015, 07:43
Will be trying this one out soon
#7 by Berry, Apr 6. 2016, 21:32
I made this with flavors that i had on hand from NicVape. The receipt has the right amount of flavor to make it enjoyable. I have order the flavors that you suggest, and i can only think it will be better. Can not wait to try it that way.
#8 by cloudwatcher81, May 22. 2016, 21:55
I wish I had the TFA/TPA bubble gum to try this in its original form, I am adding it to my next order to bcv, I used loranns oils bubble gum at 5%...it still came out a tiny bit over powered with bubble gum flavor so I added 1% of cap grape and 1% of tfa grape juice...only posting this for anyone who might be wondering if they can sub in loranns bubble gum...dont use more than 4%...loranns comes off very dry tasting, almost tastes like the white powder on cheap bubble gum.

Going to try this again in a week when the proper flavors come in...thanks for sharing.

I cant find super sweet :( I have sweetener is it possible to use that?
#10 by tbt127, Sep 21. 2016, 10:42
yes, you can use sweetener at whatever percentage you choose!
#11 by Bane213, Oct 3. 2016, 16:04
Have you tried this using TFA grape juice? I have both, but prefer the flavor of grape juice a little better.
#12 by tbt127, Oct 3. 2016, 16:12
No I haven't, and I don't have TFA grape juice to try it, but by all means, you should try it! That is the great thing about DIY, you can make any juice your own, with your own twist, to complement your tastes! I used the Grape Candy because this is a bubblegum, very sweet, candy-like juice, but that doesn't mean it is mandatory!
#13 by DNation, Oct 4. 2016, 19:45
If I wanna do a 30ml of this do I just double the recipe???
#14 by tbt127, Oct 4. 2016, 19:51
Click the blue wrench beside the recipe and then select "adapt" and you can change the ml you want to make along with anything else you need to change such as nic strength and then scroll down and it will show you the recipe as you should make it! If you want to save it to your own page just click save when you are done adapting! Happy Mixing!
#15 by DNation, Oct 5. 2016, 02:55
O gotcha. Thanx
#16 by BIGDADDY7163, Oct 12. 2016, 06:26
Agree with bane. 6% tfa bubblegum and 3% tfa grape juice.
#17 by BIGDADDY7163, Oct 12. 2016, 06:29
Tfa grape juice gives it a grape big league chew flavor.
#18 by Viking Elixir , Oct 13. 2016, 05:20
BIGDADDY7163 did you still use the super sweet at 1.5
#19 by tbt127, Oct 13. 2016, 10:46
The super sweet is not a necessity, I just like really sweet juice. You can adjust to taste or take it out completely. I actually don't use SS anymore. I use marshmallow instead because it doesn't gunk up your coils as much. This is a recipe I made when I first started mixing and back then I used SS in everything!!!
#20 by Viking Elixir , Oct 21. 2016, 02:31
Tbt127 is the tfa bubblegum just bubblegum or is it bubblegum juicy
#21 by tbt127, Oct 22. 2016, 11:38
It is regular bubblegum
#22 by Gouldryck, Nov 8. 2016, 17:32
Just got the ingrediants and mixed a 15ml @ 3mg. Think straight off the bat it tastes like Chubby Bubble Grape, just not as sweet, so could increase the sweetness slightly. Also done a mix with TPA Grape Juice for a comparison. Anyway I am a new diyer, so really love this recipe as a shake and vape while I have other recipes steeping.
#23 by tbt127, Nov 8. 2016, 17:50
I am glad you are enjoying it!
#24 by sylvain, Feb 12. 2017, 21:23
anyone try this recipe with more VG ?
#25 by Viking Elixir , Feb 12. 2017, 21:36
I Mix it at 60\40 or 70\30 and it is a great shake and vape
#26 by Testo, Feb 22. 2017, 05:00
wow, it's amazing! : D
I've tested it after one day and it's my favourite recipe as far.
Anyway, I've added more % of flavours, because I was using 40/60 pg/vg, but it's perfect!
Thanks a lot! : )
#27 by VapeTits, Mar 6. 2017, 03:37
Has anyone else tried the grape candy as a standalone flavour? 😷 I did and haven't touched it since tasted floral nothing like grape! Going to try this to see if it's ok mixed as everyone seems to like this
#28 by VapeTits, Mar 6. 2017, 03:41
I agree by the way tfa grape juice is far better in my opinion but it's not very strong I end up using more of it than other concentrates, I use drip hacks grape with it in low percentages. Anyone know of any better grape flavours? Iv got fa grape concord to test in a juice currently
#29 by Gouldryck, Mar 6. 2017, 15:39
Have also mixed this subbing the Grape candy for FW Blue Raspberry. Same percentage. Tastes even better.
#30 by Howard Hughes, Jun 9. 2017, 16:44
I enjoyed this one & will probably make it again, thanks.
#31 by tbt127, Jun 9. 2017, 16:50
Thank you...I am glad you like it! I have found another great recipe for Grape bubblegum recently that you may want to try if you like this one...it is Hubba Grape by Mourning Glory...
e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1254760/Hubba%20Grape
I made a 30 ml tester of this and let it steep longer than the three days he recommended and it turned out really good...I made a comment to him about the steep time and he agreed with me, but I am now on my second 120 mls of it since then...it is really good stuff!
#32 by Rmax019, Jul 5. 2017, 19:16
What percentage would you mix Bubblegum on its own?
#33 by Gouldryck, Jul 5. 2017, 21:18
TFA I would mix at 15%
#34 by Locnar, Jul 10. 2017, 01:05
Looks great! Making a batch but subbing TPA bubblegum with FA bubblegum fruity. Thanks!
#35 by Gouldryck, Jul 28. 2017, 03:40
Sub the grape candy for FW blue raspberry. Mmmmm! Love it.
#36 by G3mmii, Jul 31. 2017, 13:26
Just made 100ml - tasted great even a few days after but left it a week, loving it even more now!!! THANKS! (y)
#37 by Goldmember, Aug 15. 2017, 10:52
Anyone find this harsh. Anything I make with any type of bubblegum is harsh even after letting it steep.
#38 by tbt127, Aug 17. 2017, 20:27
I don't find it harsh, but harshness can be attributed to a few things, the main thing being your nic...the higher mg you use the harsher it will be...also brand of nic...I use nic select from nicotine river...but if it isn't your nic you can try a few drops of smooth (TFA) in it or switch the super sweet for ethyl maltol, but I will warn you that using ethyl maltol will make your flavors fade after a week or so...so if you choose to use EM make sure you don't let the recipe sit for too long or you won't have much flavor left...oh and use both smooth and EM sparingly if you choose to use them and don't use them together in the same recipe
#39 by Billz, Aug 29. 2017, 21:31
You said you dont use super sweet and now use marshmellow. Which marshmallow concentrate do you use and do you use the same amount as the super sweet?
#40 by Billz, Sep 5. 2017, 20:15
??
#41 by dustwynn, Oct 12. 2017, 17:58
If I wanted to take out the bubble gum would I just replace it with 18% grape?
#42 by 4 rings of fury, Oct 13. 2017, 10:40
@dustwynn No way! That's way too much flavoring. Tap on the grape flavoring and look at the average % as a standalone. Should be AroundMe the top of that page. That goes for any flavoring.
#43 by dustwynn, Oct 15. 2017, 18:51
@4_rings_of_fury ok ty. My first time making. Glad I didn't make that mistake.
#44 by Howard Hughes, Nov 13. 2017, 22:22
Pretty good recipe. I lowered the CAP Super Sweet down to 1%.
#45 by Terry, Nov 29. 2017, 03:26
Thanks so much for this! As an SnV it was a little harsh for me -- even at max VG -- but still delicious. It did mellow over time, so I made up 10ml of concentrate to have on hand.
Since I started vaping, I've been paying $15 for 30ml of grape e-juice; this is even better tasting and far less expensive.
I'm also going to try the Grape Hubba Bubba recommended above. Thanks again!
#46 by tbt127, Dec 12. 2017, 16:23
@Billz, I am so sorry, my notifications are turned off...but to answer your question, yes, I use marshmallow at the same percentage.
@dustwynn, @4 rings of fury has given you some valuable information and I want to let you know that if you check out the forum there is so much information over there for new mixers that will help you out immensely!
I am really happy that everyone is enjoying this recipe! It is still one of my favorites!
#47 by Joeymac, Mar 2. 2018, 17:48
I made this recipie up and it is absolutely wonderful to vape thank you very much for sharing it with us tb127 xx
#48 by tbt127, Mar 29. 2018, 20:38
No problem @Joeymac, I am really glad to see that people are still enjoying this one!
#49 by RaGCaR, Apr 12. 2018, 19:36
Ok, so I realize this is not going to be anything like the original recipe, but I've got Loranns Bubblegum and TPA Grape Juice. I don't see anyone mentioning a direct combo to those 2. What would be a good % on that pair to give me a decent grape bubblegum.
#50 by tbt127, Apr 19. 2018, 14:39
Hi @RaGCaR...I am sorry that I haven't gotten back to you, but my notifications are turned off...If you haven't figured this out already, I will leave the suggestion of what I would do if I had these flavors you are asking about, but I do not have them, nor have I ever used them so I really am not sure about them...I do know that Lorann has two different BG flavors...a regular one and a colorless one. I have heard that many people do not want to use the regular one due to artificial coloring in it and it is oil based instead of water soluble...

If I had the LA BG and TPA GJ and wanted a combo of them, I would start with looking into the flavor list for them...this is a great place to find info on flavors...here are the links:

LA BG (regular): e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/4447

LA BG (colorless): e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/124510

TPA GJ: e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/2068

I look at the flavor notes on all new flavors I get to get an idea of what percentage to start with. I only make about 15ml of eliquid to start with so that I can try it at 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 1 week, and then weekly thereafter, but for this one it probably shouldn't need more than about two weeks at the most if its not ready before then. Then you just test it, take notes, and then adjust the recipe if needed...

I would use TPA Grape Juice at 6%, LA Bubblegum (colorless) at 4% (or the regular at 5%) and then use the super sweet at 0.25% - 0.50%! I hope this works out for you. I haven't heard much on the LA bubblegum flavor, but I have heard from some trusted mixers that the TPA Grape Juice is a good candy type grape and will be good in a bubblegum mix! Good luck and let me know how it turns out!
#51 by RaGCaR, Apr 21. 2018, 18:13
Thank you, very helpful. I do look at flavour notes but I often struggle with trying to make sense of so many different opinions, and I guess my biggest struggle is trying not to be wasteful because I'm not able to replace supplies as often as some do. So when it comes to small test batches, I try to keep them to a minimum by nailing it as soon as possible. I know, wishful thinking lol, who doesn't?... That's everyone's goal. But it really plays on my mind and causes me stress when I think about all the juice I have wasted over the years trying to get one profile just right, and now the money is even tighter. So when you reply with such detail, your suggestions are appreciated more then you know.
#52 by Harahcookie, May 4. 2018, 14:13
I'm curious about what brand of marshmallow you are using as a substitution for the CAP super sweet. I'm not a huge fan of grape, but a friend at work is looking for a good grape bubblegum flavor and I told her I would poke around a bit to come up with some ideas.
#53 by Matty Vapes, May 12. 2018, 18:31
Taste like flowers. Not knocking your recipe. I've read that some people get this effect from grape flavors. Hoping they're not all like that for me but the grape candy is a write off. Unfortunate cause I do like grape!
#54 by GmasVape2, Oct 7. 2018, 23:16
SC Grape or FLV Grape are both excellent candy type grape flavors! TPA Grape candy is nowhere near as good as they are!
#55 by Armed, Nov 5. 2018, 23:01
Brilliant stuff had it after a 4 day steep
#56 by BardofEast, Nov 29. 2018, 15:49
Awesome recipe, very adicting! Thanks for sharing, Im always mixing this adjusting the PG/VG ratio. Very simple and tastes really good!
#57 by tbt127, May 13. 2019, 18:14
@Harahcookie, so sorry I never got back to you, but I have my notifications turned off, so I do not know when people leave comments unless I look, which I try to do as often as possible, but somehow I have missed this recipe for a while. When I use marshmallow as a sweetener, I really like to use Flavorah. However, I have actually found a new sweetener that I like to use. It is Purilum Super Sweet. I like this one because for some reason, TPA and FW sweeteners both give me a very odd aftertaste that is almost unbearable. It is one of the reasons that I use MM for sweetener, but the Purilum Super Sweet is awesome, in my opinion. Very powerful stuff. I normally use it at a rate of 1 drop per 10 or 15 milliliters of juice, depending on the recipe, how sweet I want it, and how sweet it is to begin with. I know it has been some time since you left your comment, and this is probably no longer relevant to you, but I would like to thank you for your comment anyway!

@Matty Vapes, that sucks that you get that effect from grape flavors. If you haven't tried it already, Flavorah makes an awesome grape concentrate! Also, a new concentrate I just picked up from Nicotine River is Ocean Myst, and it is a pretty awesome grape flavor, even by itself! I am vaping it right now as a single flavor mix, just to test, and it has potential to be great in recipes like this one! Thanks for your comment!

@GmasVape2, you are right, I actually just recommended the Flavorah Grape to Matty Vapes! I haven't tried the SC Grape yet, but the Flavorah I can vouch for! I just do not change this recipe, because it was posted a few years ago now, and it seems that people are still enjoying it, so I leave it the same. However, if I were to make it for myself right now, I would change a lot about it to fit my tastes now and how they have changed. But for the people who just start out, I think its good, because it is created with the type of flavors that most new mixers purchase when they are starting out, it's simple, and it is strongly flavored, which is important when one starts vaping due to having damaged taste buds from recently quitting smoking. Thanks for the comment!

@BardofEast, I am so happy to hear that you like this recipe! Simple and tasty was my goal when I made this, so it is nice to see your comment saying exactly that! Thanks for the kind words!

I made this receipt and bought my flavors from River Supply and the juice came out super waxy. Out of all the many juices I've made this is the first time I saw a waxy film that makes the juice opaque. Anyone else have this issue?
#59 by Exacto Juice, Oct 21. 2020, 21:32
Been looking for a good grape/bubblegum recipe for a while - Gave this one a shot. It's okay, tastes like those hard bubblegum sticks from when I was younger. Only thing I didn't like, was that it had an almost cleaning solvent taste to it (steeped 5 days so far). Will try again next week.
#60 by Wolf O’hearn, Dec 13. 2023, 18:04
Idk wich concentrate are gunk my coil so fast but think is Grape candy
