This only has a very tiny hint of "salted" and not in the way that you'd think. It's not salty, but it has a little bit of that butterscotch kind of flavor. It is VERY sweet. This might be my new favorite caramel flavoring.
Okay as a Shake and Vape, but gets better as it ages. I usually give it about a week.
Side note: This is a sweet, darker flavor so it tends to be a coil gunker. Not a big deal if you rebuild, but if you use stock coils you might wanna dedicate one to it or use it sparingly. ;)

Oh my my my.... I just made some of this up and even just after mixing and doing a test vape, I can tell this will be wonderful after a good steep. I didn't have any TPA brand Sweet Cream, so I used what I had left of Vapor Flavors brand, but it turned out nicely. Thanks Jo!
Awesome! Glad you like it. I love the salted caramel. It's one of my "must have" flavors. I haven't made this one in awhile. Think I'm gonna give it another whirl. :)
I've always said I won't buy it because I didn't think it would taste good but I admit I WAS SO WRONG. Me and @vapingtom absolutely lovessential it...keepem coming. ๐just bought pistachio. ..any recommendations?
@igottasrt8 - it's a pretty sweet mix and the salted caramel is a gunker. I usually run it in my aromamizer since it is easy to clean and rewick.
@cubsfuture - Let me know if it's still harsh to you after a lil bit. :)
thank you JoJo for a great recipie with only 3 flavors, and thanks to people for their feedback , so tried with anothers brands ( for the vienna), and were all so good .
still love the original better !!!
Whipped some up yesterday. It's decent already but I imagine it'll come together very well. I was hoping for a bit more of salty sweet but maybe that comes with a steep. Thanks for sharing
Sorry I didn't respond sooner @Gaspar74. It doesn't ever get super salty, which was a little disappointing, but it's pretty good. More like a butterscotch than a true salted caramel. I've been wanting to try adding some saline to see if that helps the 'salty' part pop but I haven't gotten around to it, yet.
I know. I have a lot of recipes steeping. I have to wait until it's new coil time or whether I can be bothered to re-wick the dripper. It was new Kylin that prompted me to try this. At 65w it's lovely..
@Jared77 It's not actually in the notes, so I guess that'd be a good addition. I like it right away but prefer it to steep for about a week. The longer it sits, the better it gets. ;)
I looked all over the place so I didn't ask a repeat question. I just ordered the fw salted caramel because of this recipe. I ordered from bullcity community recipe pack and recommend ed to bullcity to include steep recommendation from the Creator . Some recipes, as you know are great right away others need a week or two. However i mixed your recipe last night and am now i can try it sooner than i thought. Thanx
I hope you like it! :) FW Salted Caramel is a must have, IMO. It's a great caramel flavor even if it does increase the gunk factor. Also, I'm a big proponent of trying everything early and often. Don't wait to try something just because someone says it needs a certain amount of time. Worst case, you'll use a couple mls and not like it. Best case, you'll find a great juice that you enjoy and you don't have to wait. Cuz who likes waiting, right? That being said, I'm also a proponent of not judging a mix until it's steeped at least as long as the creator says. ;)
Made this few days ago subbed SweetCream TFA with FW added .5% FA Cream Fresh. Day 1. tasted sweet cream/milky? with not too much caramel taste i do tasted hint of saltiness [inhale] and some chemical smells. Day 5. hint of salt, butterscotch caramel milky [no chemical smells]. Lovely to vape , especially after dinner - definitely will make again after this first batch. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
Right after shaking, this mix smelled wonderful. I first made a 15ml tester and after knuckling it at a 3 day steep I knew it was a winner. Vaping, it is sweet, smooth with a creamy caramel deliciousness that follows on the inhale and exhale. Zero throat hit for me. It's not just a dessert vape but I can see this being another ADV. I made a 250ml bottle. Thank you JoJo for this recipe.
def need some salted caramel in my life ... ill be trying to sub with caramel FA and other with Caramel (original) TFA but that one ill be very careful cause i may get much "milky" taste and may be good or overtaking the mix thank you JoJo and ill be posting my variations in 1 or 2 weeks :P
Thank you guys so much. I feel like such a rock star. ๐คI made a good thing! LOL.
BichoTheChef, you definitely need some salted caramel. It's amazing. I mean, it'll trash your coils, but you'll smile while it does it. Then you'll come back for more cuz it's some tasty stuff. Link me your alterations if you post them! ๐
Hey jojo! That's for the recipe! Something is up with mine. Steeped for a month, but still getting no sweet. Basically it's not tasting like im reading. Hmmm. It's got a good throat hit too! I wonder if I mixed in a wrong flavour. Which concentrate would cause the sweetness? Thanks a ton!
Yeah, so I mixed up my Jojo recipe pake from Bull City, gave it bath in hot water for 10 minutes, vape a bit... Liked it a lot. But then, the next day when I rewicked and filled up the Squonk mod, Holy Mother of Pearl, this is phenomenal! You have really made something special here and I'm just grateful that your recipe pack is discounted over there at BCF because I bought 30ml options on all 3 and I'm glad I did. I'll be vaping this all year!
You know, this juice is great as is, but I can see myself remixing the hell out of this. Props over to you Jojo. This is my favorite mix since I started diy a few months ago... And I've tried tried them ALL, LMFAO! ๐คฃ
I was digging through the batch of juice I'd made and came across a bottle of this I'd made on June 10th. Checked my notes, I'd tasted it 6/13 and noted that it was decent, and a good steeping will probably make it groovy. Well, then life got in the way... Now I'm tasting this on August 10th. Two full months of aging on the shelf behind the Echo speaker thing. And I've gotta say, I'm sorry I only made 10ml as a tester. I'm going to have to whip up a 60 or more, and hope that it doesn't take a full two months to get to this level of flavor. I fear this 10 ml won't make it through the night.
Thinking I may make another 10ml tweak though to add a bit of vanilla to it. Or three 10ml bottles, 'cause I can't decide which vanilla to use (Vanilla Classic INW, Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) FA, or Vanilla Bean Gelato TPA)
I made some 2 days ago. Tried it last night. Going to let it steep another few then check it again. I'm letting the flavors come together some. Thank you!
I only wish it weren't such a coil gunker-which is entirely attributed to the Salted Caramel from FW. I'm lazy and HATE rebuilding with the start of my new job which takes a lot of my free time. Still, it's worth the extra rebuild time with the flavor you get from this trio of concentrates. Well done. I'm forever a fan of yours๐
This is definitely a winner. Just mixed 60 ml using a lab hot plate with a magnetic stirring bar for a quick steep at 140 degrees for 1 hour. Dropped temp down to 110 degrees and added nicotine and let that run for 15 minutes. Tried out a double clapton in a dripper and this stuff was good right off the mixer. Excites me to know it's going to get a better with time ๐
I havenโt tried either of those but Iโd say give it a shot and let me know how it goes. Maybe one of those will be less of a gunker than the FW salted caramel. Lol.
