12 day steep:
SB's are sitting perfectly up top, bright and ripe. I think this is the best SB combo I've tried.
The WCIC is right on as well. I'm locking this in as the final recipe. It should be truly great at one month. I can't imagine the SB fading at any time, it's spot-on and prominent, inyoface strawberry. The creme brulee is giving just enough love to make the VIC taste homemade, not too custardy at all.
NF came from diyvaporsupply
MF from ECX
RF from ECX and RF directly
TPA from WL
I’m missing a couple flavors, but going to order them and give it a try. Wondering if you’ve thought of adding koolada for that ice cream freeze (without the menthol) .. that MF white chocolate is good stuff - really 3 drops for 30ml comes through? I guess it would (oh.just remembering I dilute the MF stuff so that’s why it seemed off).
Don’t know if I can wait 12 days for steep, though. Ha
I have been thinking about using koolada at some point, just don't have any yet. I can imagine, if used very subtly, that it would be pretty "cool" in this. Yeah, that MF WC is potent stuff, if used too high, it gets kind of dry to me. I hope this works out for you. The creams and WC definitely need some time to come together, so it may taste a little sloppy before 7 days. The WC really shines after 12-14, 30 is perfect. Let me know how it turns out, esp if you add the koolada!
@North Fog, it is Real Flavors Strawberry. They did go out of business. But, a Canadian company bought the whole RFSC line and still make it. Search Real Flavours Canada. This recipe is from 2017, when RF was still around, btw
Thanks for the reply and info. Luckily I still have a lil. Don't have most the other ingredients, but wanted to try this strawberry combo with something...
Right on. The NF/RFSC Strawberry combo is a powerhouse! I usually set them at 1.5% each. Also, the 3 Cream flavors in here, I don't use them anymore. Moved on to better options a while back.
