@geothds The recipe wasn't made yesterday. This is what you guys fail to understand. The recipe was posted yesterday. Many people have tried it before it was posted and many more will insta-mix it because the creator is very famous in Greece. The mix WILL NOT be for sale in the market. If the mixer wanted to do that, he'd go ahead and do it straight away and it would sell out in hours! We have tried to explain the situation in a forum thread. @trandism yeah, really. You've only rated the same four people over and over again always give 5 star ratings. Sometimes rating dozens of liquids per day. Folks like myself who don't have a lot of cash rely on those ratings. Instead we've got.a bunch of one word comments like , great or awesome. So yeah, your fucking the system up. You and your pals have turned what was a reputable system into something that can't be relied upon any longer. Your using the system and artificially inflating the ratings. @kahzmoe I've rated whatever I consider worthy to be rated. As I've already told you, you can keep on mixing the same recipes that exist in the top for 2 years. Mix Unicorn Milk with Cheesecake Graham Crust, which is a troll recipe and got on the top in 2015 because it had Unicorn Milk in its name. If you take a random new recipe in ELR it is better than most of the recipes in the top ratings. If you mix recipes from the top page, you're mixing garbage my friend. The so called "reputation" of the site is not in danger by me, it's broken anyway if they don't change the rating system. And personally I would not give a damn if I got banned here. So go ahead on your crusade and ban me.

Taste is subjective, overflavoring as a disadvantage in recipe development is not subjective. Most top recipes in ELR suffer from overflavoring because back when they were developed, we didn't have proper devices. This isn't subjective, it is a fact. And yes we are not friends. The ELR admin team is on the case as we speak. If they find something against the rules, then so be it and they will take action. There is no rule that forbids me to rate whatever I damn please and ignore whatever I consider garbage.

@Nosfos maiselis you probably can but if you talking about sugar cookie it is more sweet and you might want to reduce sweetner in the recipe. I am no expert but made couple of other lemon tart clones with the flavours I have. They came out pretty good but not with the exact taste.

I dont know the poster of this recipe but always check the top rated recipes for things to try. Ive read the comments and forum posts about the boosted ratings and still wanted to try this.... if his friends all made this before then they are just giving there props which I cant argue with. If it was nasty I dont think they would rate.
Anyway... just made 500ml of this.
I dont use artificial sweeteners so subbed with marshmallow dx,
Its very tart and has a nice lemon profile mixed with a nice buttery crust taste... very good but is a bit tart. I think the sweetener would make this perfect but again.... i wont use it. Tempted to use stevia but dont like the aftertaste.
Very good lemon vape here.... I wouldnt be afraid to make it. We will see after it steeps a bit I may make it again.

Made 100ml and so far it has a sweet yet tart inhale(sweetness is very balanced to tart) and a creamy, buttery crust exhale .( Should deepen after a few weeks steeping) I have only tried as a shake and vape and will post again once it's steeped a bit more . All in all a good vape if you enjoy bakery flavours .

Yooo! Mixed 500 ml after recipe released used exactly same flavors and percantages.For shake and vape i do not recommend it.Please give it a 4-5 nights resting.Cause there was a wierd burned tarty taste behind lemon combinations after mix.As a mixer myself i never judge recipes after mix .So in the end i gave it 4 nights resting and shaked well in daily routine for once.Now i taste all those harsh lemon profile stepped back and combined with biscuits/tart/bakery/cake profile very well.And good adv lemon tart.Might be better between 1-2 weeks steeping range .Shines at high watts with a good rda which you trust along with flavor performance .9/10 for me.No doubt will be 10/10 after a while.Great work,well done my friend.Greetings from lstanbul. =))

After 5 days steep I'm vaping it at high wattages (140 to 160 ) on a 0,1 dual alien build. Very smooth and sweet lemon tart,will try it on higher builds as well,lower power to see if the sweetness drops a bit,cause right now it's the thing I would adjust to my taste.Excellent recipe and many thanks for sharing!

Wow, wow, wow, this is what I've been hoping for! Soooo good, even as a shake and vape (at least for me, vaping at fairly low wattage). I've been wanting a great lemon tart similar to Dinner Lady, and this is definitely doing it for me. I used half the Super Sweet (.50%) since I often find mixes a bit too sweet, and it tastes great, though I might even test .40% or .35% in the next batch. (Even my picky husband who laughs at my dessert flavors loves it! ha!) Five well-deserved stars, and my gratitude for the work it took to make, and for sharing it with us! ♥

I mixed this up tonight, exactly. It's all there and good but it has to much sweetener for me, I rarely use sweetener and when I do it's very low. I want to like this because I mixed up 50 mls and used good nicotine but it's too sweet. I'll try it again with no sweetener someday. I want to see a lemon meringue pie made from scratch, this one is just adding a little cookie and lemon to an already done product. seems more authentic to make one from scratch. Not a bad vape if you like it really, really sweet.

I'm giving this 4 stars only because there's no option for 4-1/2. What makes this slightly less than perfect IMO is it's not a lemon tart. It's more like a lemon cream puff. Now that's not a bad thing. It's a very good recipe, just misses the mark for an actual tart. Still, it's a lovely vape and I will make it again. Most likely will reduce the meringue and sweetener though. Tasty.

I would give it 3.5 stars, but it's not an option and I can't in good conscience give it 4 because it wouldn't be an honest 4 stars for me, so I have to give it either 3 or not rate it at all. For the sake of the mixer, I chose not to rate it and risk bringing down the rating on a juice that many others clearly enjoy very much.

I tried this juice as a SnV, tried after 1 week, and I've tried it after 3 weeks now, and it just falls flat to me. I was definitely looking for lemon tart and unfortunately this one is missing something very important, can't put a finger on what it is tho, and most importantly, the lemon doesn't have that tangy lemon punch in the face that I was hoping for. It's still a decent vape, but my search will continue. Good job nonetheless, and thanks for sharing it.

I made it the day it came out. Surely not a SnV for me, it was nothing special at the beginning but as time went by it started coming together.
At the 2 weeks mark it was great, I think it peaked there. It still gets better, only marginally.
I think it was very artfully layered, all elements of a lemon tart are distinctively recognizable and there are no take overs. I'll only drop the sweetener down (drastically!) next time.

I mixed this up with significantly less sweetner. It’s too reliant on the Capella lemon meringue imo and the biscuit notes are too high. It also doesn’t have such a good flavour when my wick is less saturated.

I’m a long time dinner lady lemon tart user and this falls far from it imo. Other recipes I’ve tried, even though they don’t match the original, have a better flavour profile for me.

This definitely doesn’t live up to the hype of the numerous “reviews” above.

I used 0.7% Stevia (7.5% dilution) instead of the super sweet, and lemon by flavors express instead of the cap juicy lemon. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe the FE lemon has a hint more candy / lemon drop to it, as the lemon filling aspect was right on. FA Cookie is also a favorite of mine and this recipe has me thinking about other sweet bakery recipes it'd give that warm light cookie flavor in the mid to get a fuller flavor. Great recipe, ran me out of 30ml cap lemon meringue after two batches.

As a shake n vape, it had very strong lemon meringue taste at high wattages (csmnt at 70-80 watts), was very good though on my hadaly. After a week, it became incredible in every build/rda i used it. Great job my friend!

Pretty good. This recipe was decent as a shake and vape, jave had mine steeping for about 5 days- the lemon really fell to the background and I can definately taste more of the pastry as the flavor that floats to the top, so to speak, on this. I just started DIY a few months ago, still trying to get used to the lack of omph in comparrison to commercial juices. I feel like a lot of DIY juices sort of fall flat or taste a little bland sometimes, but it's just the absence of a boat ton of coil gunking sweeteners I think. My coils are definately lasting much longer since the switch, this recipie has a good rich pastry note to keep my palatte happy, thanks !

Made 90 mls of this today at 12 mg nic strength. Wanted a high nic juice for a new set up with a tight draw. I had all the ingredients for this except the juicy lemon. As a shake and vape this isn't too bad. Not very complex but it seems like it has potential once it steeps for a few days. I can still taste the bakery notes but the lemon is at the forefront. But like I said, I think steeping will help. I think this is a decent basic recipe and not bad for what I'm vaping it on.

Lemon tart by vape dinner lady is an impossible recipe to replicate. I dont think anyone has nailed it on the head. And this recipe is not bad.. but its no where near dinner lady’s profile and all i taste is cap lemon meringue pie...its over powering the cookie and biscuit for me. Not horrible. I also used 2% TFA Sweetener instead of 1% Supersweet (as I believe that comes to the same strength of sweetener) and find the sweetness level perfect. Not overly sweet by any means and I have a low threshold for sweetness. It is just sweet enough to counteract any harshness in the lemon while still preserving a very nice level of tartness. I wouldn't recommend reducing the sweetness level.

The first time I made this, it was delicious, but still overly sweet for me, even though I used half the percentage of Super Sweet. I did find that the sweetness leveled down over time (months) ... but this last time, making a fresh batch, I started with just two drops of Super Sweet per 30 ml and it's much more to my palate, so I would say if you have doubts about it being too sweet, start with much less, and you can always amp it up as needed. Anyway, definitely a genius recipe that I've been enjoying every single day!

Thanks for recipe but I'm very disappointed after mix.

Lemon Meringue Pie v1 (CAP) way too much in there, I'm not sure is this the reason but my lemon tart very harsh even after 2 weeks steeping. Super sweet is like a sugary killer, I feel like if I put my head on lemony glucose syrup bucket while after taste. And this artificial sugary overpowering taste never going anywhere all day. Whatever I vape comes with lemony glucose syrup as a default till I change the coil.

Note that I'm not a hater, thank you very much for trying to share some information with people but I regret for mixing 100ml batch for now. Still I'll wait couple weeks more and if any good changes comes up I'll share my opinion.

This is by far one of the nicest lemon tart's on hear I have made ( and I have made a few lol ) I think cappella lemon meringue is the key ingredient to making a good lemon tart, dazcole's version is nice as well but lacks the pie base Imo, I'm actually using his recipe & adding some piecrust to too see if it perks up the pie base I feel its missing, dinner lady will always be king but this is a dam fine recipe all the same & worth making 100ml for sure...

I would say FW lemon meringue pie is more lemony than capella. Honestly capella LMP to me tastes like nothing.. barely any lemon. Its no where near the lemon profile of dinner lady. Flavor west is closer i feel. For a lemon curd i would look into some other lemon options and maybe custards or even puddings. Lemon curd is a tough one to replicate!

I made a mistake and ordered CAP Lemon Sicily instead of FA, I figured that when I was making my 3rd 250ml batch :-), I run off FA after putting 4.84gr so I finished with 2.90gr of CAP to mantain the same 3%. Finally not a big change, just a little more candy lemon accent.

I tried after 2 days. The cookie is quite strong in this recipe and it's also quite sweet. I'll try this again after 2 weeks. I will have to lower the super sweet to about half next time. Please don't compare this to dinner lady's because I'm sure the mixer himself didn't intend this to be similar. Dazcole's original recipe is much closer in the smell and taste but i always get this funky taste after vaping that for a few days.

This is a very good recipe, it isn't dinner lady and doesn't claim to be, it is a very enjoyable lemon tart. Only thing is i think it needs 3 weeks to come together for my taste.

Not very nice to be honest i don't get it with all these lemon tart recipes none of them even come close to diner ladies i have made a few version of your attempts at lemon tart and they are not nice, i love lemon what this is mainly LMP at 8% and that takes a long time to steep.

Not a clone, but a very good mix. Nothing can make the lemon pop like the og, but I think this is a very tasty juice after a 2 week steep. Glad I made 30ml instead of my usual 10ml tester :)

I've spent alot of money buying flavourings over the years and I've mixed a lot of the 5 star recipes here of which most have turned out to be very average.
This one is different, it is superb, straight out of the box.
It's go a zesty juicy tang with a perfectly sweet finish, but it's not sickly sweet or creamy. It's just perfect.
This gets the Shake and vape gold medal...I can't wait to see what a week of steeping does to it.
(My only sub was the Lemon Meringue Pie...I used the FW version).

@mixtard I think you'll really like it at 1 week & 2 weeks as well. pls update with how it is with fw lmp. Don't have that one yet but always on the hunt as I love lemon Vapes.
I'm also getting some fa apple pie in to try in a few recipes. From what I've researched it doesn't have much apple but the crust is supposed to be fantastic & the apple can actually enhance (some) other fruits as well.
The flavor quest is never ending.... But for what you can get in flavors compared to even the cheapest sale ejuice it serves as a great reminder. So much better than buying 100ml of something, then shelving it with 70ml left. Make 15-30, cost $1 or so & it's fresh. Want more? Make more 🙂💨💨

@abdalot you could probably drop the lmp or Sicily even down & add around 1.5% fe lemon. Stuff is great & stays around. I've also basically switched from cap to jf lemon juicy.

This recipe is amazing, its good as a shake and vape but after a week or so of steeping the lemon mellows down a bit and is more delicious. I never thought I would like lemon recipes until I tried this one. MIX IT

It's a great juice, made it in a large glass dripper bottle for on my desk but don't even get time to steep. Remember the taste, same as the emon tart I bought in the USA

@alamoundi fa cookie is unique but if you’re really in a bind you can use CAP Sugar Cookie and since this recipe has INW Biscuit.. it’ll bring out that buttery, crumbly goodness and it should work well until you get some FA cookie. (Hey.. you might even prefer it better.. it is diy and Iuts not that unusual). Good Luck!

just mixed this but subbed TPA ZGraham clear for INW Biscuit since I can't get any INW flavors in the Philippines. It's a good SnV for me and tastes almost exactly like the lemon bars that my local bakery makes but the lemon flavor sticks to your coils. Hope that a week or 2two of steeping will fix that

That's a good recipe but if you're mixing this in 2022 you should decrease the percentages otherwise recipe can be harsh. I think %10 is enough for nowadays devices or you can just halve the percentages.

@Anycurrent Totally agree, just made a batch with the original recipe and its really harsh, my mouth got really acidic and tongue got mild scratches. Gonna decrase the total flavor percentage to 10%.

If there's a lack of taste, you added to much biscuit. To me, changing the mix of pg/vg or switching between salt and regular nic doesn't make a difference.

If you worried about your coils, reduce or remove the super sweet and increase the PG to VG ratio. This is still my daily flavor after several years and really all I need to make.

Mixed this up, and it's great, but I feel that it's not exactly the original. You're missing a KEY flavor that is definitely inside of DL's Lemon Tart. That flavor is INW Lemon Cake. Pick it up and try working it into the recipe. I'm almost positive that flavor is one of the only things that need to be added. Also the original is extremely sweet, and .3% cap super sweet isn't nearly there. I'd recommend trying .5-1% for a more accurate clone result.

This vote abuse is what has killed the credibility of ELR. I severely doubt this recipe was mixed up even half the amount of times than the amount of ratings/comments it has. Not trying to be racist here, but why are all the exploiters/commenters speaking in Greek, and all of these usernames are repeating on a lot of the "top" recipes, and nowhere else. Shameful practice. People buy ingredients to mix up fraudulently rated mixes, and then are disappointed with the result. Luckily when it comes to lemon tarts, the ingredients don't differ all that much. This is a GOOD recipe, but it does not deserve the amount of attention that it shows to have. Changing my rating to 3* because of the fraudulent votes.
