I know It is a long steep time, but it is sooo worth it. At 4 wks it is good, but at 5wks it is wonderful.

Guess you liked the Fa joy. I just couldn't get past the beer taste even @ low %'s. Glad it worked out for ya bro.

Thanks bro. To be honest I don't get a beer taste. I should do a single flavor test on it. I bet this would still be a good recipe w/out the joy.

Does it have a hops taste to it? Is that why you say beer taste?

It's not hoppy to me. More like a cheap Pilsner or lager (think warm PBR or Miller). I've gone as low as 0.2% with a steep and it's still beer to me.
