Notes
This was not my recipe, I saw it on a forum and it was different to the one listed here originally.

I suggest this BR recipe instead: e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/245469/Boss%20Reserve%20Clone%20v2

Not my recipe, saw it in a forum and it was a little different to the one I saw listed here so thought I'd share

So how is it? I'd like to try it as long as one person thinks it's good or tastes anything like boss reserve.

I mixed a 10ml test on 27th June, but subbed Cap V2 Custard instead of TPA. Tried it yesterday (3rd July) out of curiosity. It has similarities to BR but I wouldn't say it's perfect. It's not bad at all, but a little too much banana coming through at the moment and seems like something is missing.
I'll try it again in a week or so alongside some real BR and post back.

Terrific thanks. Can't wait to hear your findings. 10% Banana Cream does seem a a bit high imo

Just tried it again alongside some BR.
Still too much banana coming through (I have realised I also used LorAnn Banana Cream instead of TPA), and not enough of the caramel or nut.
It does have similarities to BR however, to me, this is sweeter and has the differences I describe above.
Personally I quite like it as it is, but I think with a lower percentage of banana cream it would be much closer to the real deal.

LorAnn Banana Cream is what i got aswell, just wondering what the difference might be vs TPA Banana Cream
#7 by NickOmega, Nov 21. 2015, 04:11
I have both now, and on tasting the TPA is much softer. If you're using LorAnn I'd definitely lower it to maybe 5%.

This version was closer IMO:

So glad my first post here can be a giant Thank You!
Finally got ingredients for this and made up 15ml. I swapped DX versions of the Banana Cream, Peanut Butter and Caramel, used a Cheesecake Graham Crust, Crunch Berry and used Northwest Flavors' Vanilla Custard. Also used Marshmallow instead of EM.
I cut the banana as suggested to .4ml (excellent choice) and will lower the Peanut Butter if it doesn't mellow out.
Damn tasty shake n vape and can see it improving with age.

10% of Banana Cream is too high - I let it steep for a week and it's mostly banana nut flavor coming through. It's good, but will try less banana next time.

Yeah as myself and others have discovered the percentages are way off on this recipe, but rather than editing it I created a new recipe on here that I think was much closer.

Great after 10 days. Waiting to see it later. I think I will remove Ethyl Maltol to make it less sweet. I enjoy it better than original.

I don't think any e juice should have 29% flavor lol, sorry but I rarely go over 18% max & I only have one recipe over 18% and that's a 9 ingredient recipe and comes out at 20%, most of my recipes are under 17% at 70/30 ratio, maybe I'm wrong but I feel 29% is way too high
#13 by footballrain7, Mar 29. 2016, 09:53
I just mixed this up and as a shake and vape all I am getting is banana... I am probably going to cut this back to 2% being banana is such a strong flavor just like Pineapple is. Going to wait a week before I make anymore of it and see if the banana mellows out but if not I am definitely going to a 2% banana, maybe even a 1%.

@Captain_Vapor It's entirely subjective as a lot depends not only on an individual's preferences, but also on their equipment. For example; from my own experiences somebody using a basic Aspire K1 type atomiser will need a higher concentration of flavour. That isn't to say I disagree with you. As I posted in the first comment this isn't my recipe.

@footballrain7 As I and others have found out (and shared in the comments) the ratios are all off and this particular recipe ends up being nothing but banana with a slight hint of nut.

My amended and improved recipe is here: e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/245469/Boss+Reserve+Clone+v2

Damn I'm always short one flavor can I sub caramel?
#16 by sahinkenar, Jan 14. 2018, 21:10
Isn't 30% flavor a little high?
#17 by NickOmega, Jan 14. 2018, 23:30
@sahinkenar
Yes, that has already been discussed in previous comments. As I've said this wasn't my recipe it was just one I shared here shortly after joining because it was different to what I'd seen on here.
