Notes
About this recipe, I toss around my tobaccos, as I do enjoy a good tobacco at times. I started it with some kentucky blend, however, the classic cigarette just fits. I added in the virginia for the gold tobacco effect and the cream smoothes it all out. The red burley is the base notes you get on the exhale, creating one of the best winston type cigarettes. The lime tho, is the secret to making a good tobacco pop, as it breaks thru the caramel and holds it all together with a pop.

Try it out and let me know how you enjoy this. I also add in 1 drop .02 grams of bourbon for nights in the summer around the bonfires!

5 star rating
I don't have lime what I can use or remove it
I always looking for marlboro light but any cigarette recipe will be fine

The lime is very important to the recipe here.. after a good steep, if you make a large amount 4oz+, the lime fades into the background but it also cuts the tobaccos, and makes it much more tasty.

Why did you switch from the lime wedge in the original to just lime in this one? Or can you use either one?
#6 by SmokyBlue, Dec 8. 2019, 20:49
Why I did, to show you can tinker with the citruses.. you can use one or the other, but not both, unless you like lime tobaccos :P You can use oranges too.. but this recipe is more effective with the lime wedge, and with the usage rate super low, it melds into the tobaccos leaving behind beautiful layers that do not hit you all at once. Hope that helps. :)

Also maybe you can answer for me how much different this one tastes compared to the original? Smokier maybe?
#8 by SmokyBlue, Dec 8. 2019, 20:56
It is more laid back. With only 2 tobaccos compared to 3, they are not fighting for pole position. The recipe is less busier. Mix both and come back and tell me what you think. There are over 50 versions of Winstin. Some are used in production, these are not. they are open source recipes for anyone to tinker with :)

Sounds great, thank you, My thinking, which might have been off, was that this version would be a bit smokier or ashier because of the classic cigarette.
#10 by Archane, Dec 8. 2019, 21:14
And don't they both have 3 tobaccos? the other has kentucky, red burley and virginia and this has classic cigarette, red burley and virginia
#11 by Archane, Dec 8. 2019, 21:32
Last question before i try and make this. Does the lime help you with this tobacco get that kind of a slight tongue tingle like you get with a cigarette right after a meal?
#12 by SmokyBlue, Dec 8. 2019, 21:40
Yes, 3 tobaccos.. sorry was out doing yard work. Best thing I can tell you is to mix it up and see how it is rather than taking my word for it. I have reviews on them both, and a lot of people enjoy both of these mixes. I enjoy it.. and I realize no matter what we all mix with.. you will never ever replicate a cig that has over 7k chemicals in it. We can come close.. but yeah..

This recipe has different versions and is in production.. meaning there is more than just the diy world playing with this one idea. :) Try it out for yourself..

Did it and you're right, you have to wait for the lime to fade in the back to appreciate the recipe better, the lime is a fabulous touch!
Though I'm sorry to say, that the recipe is too good to be a "fag", try again Smoky.. not shitty enough :-)

lmao Frank!! :o too funny!! If you think that the lime is a rage, try other citrus.. You might be surprised :)

Think i must be one of the few that prefers the other version to this. Its good but maybe more mellow. Enjoy the kick off the other one a lot, its now in my rotation with its own tank!

haha!! Ric67, I do too, and I like mine with ice and cool menthol. :)

Where do I find the one with the lime wedge. I had it on my post Black Cherry Bomb but its gone and I ordered everything to make it with the lime wedge.

Apparently Phil the fish removed that recipe post, so I can not say what or where etc... I just found out from a friend. Sorry Dream... :(

I did some searching... you could have too.. the one with the lime wedge is here e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1909634/Smoky%20Blue%27s%20Winstin%20Tobacco

Thanks so much. I did search but obviously not in the right place. My search always came back to the recipe with the lime. Even tried a Google search same thing the one with the lime. I am going to mix that right now and give it a week or two to steep. Thanks again.

The reason this recipe initially piqued my interest was actually the same reason that it made me skeptical: the lime. And before I leave my glowing review where I say this is currently one of my fav MTL recipes, I should preface w one important caveat: in a stupid twist of irony due to my general sloppy behaviour, I was almost finished mixing this when I realised I was out of FLV Lime. Or rather, couldn’t find my FLV lime (RE: my general sloppiness). So dear @SmokyBlue: I don’t know how bad (or not) I butchered your inspired vision here when I subbed FA Lime Tahiti Cold Pressed - but nevertheless, i now regret my initial skepticism bc I chain vaped the entire tiny little test batch I made 2.5 months ago, and now I’m pissed I don’t have any more. I know I SNV’d this the day I made it (for science!), and I can’t remember anything about said day 1 SNV science (did I mention I’m flakey slob fuck?) anyways all I know for sure in my SNV was wholly unmemorable - no surprise there, this is an FLV tobacco recipe - but since I don’t see a steep time, I suggest that if you do what I did and start adding flavours all willy-nilly cause you don’t know where your flavours are I strongly encourage you to do the obvious and steep the hell out of this. Anyway, it’s no secret that FA can make some of the best citrus’s in the game. But I definitely wouldnt suggest any of them are analogous w FLV’s citrus’s. So I may have gotten lucky w the FA lime. Bc while I’d strongly recommend you definitely make this as instructed with the FLV, I’d even stronger-ly recommend u DO NOT sub w something like TFA or CAP lime - cuz I’m not being hyperbolic or sloppy when I assure you those would make this recipe taste like str8 ass. Adding FLV lime to this is kinda genius, I can’t wait to try it someday. 6 stars outta 5. Please like and subscribe.

Perfect cigarette flavor to replace the “stinkiest”! My very favorite true tobacco vape. Thank you Smoky for an inspired recipe.
