@Alisa I have everything but the Butter Pecan, any recommendations for a substitute? I have in the nut category Hazelnut (TPA) and Toasted Almond (TPA) oh and Butter by MFS
Hmmmm...... well, I love Hazelnut myself too, so I'd probably use that and maybe put a tad of the Butter in there with it. I've never used Almond before, but I plan on getting some. If I had it, I would probably try it with Butter too. I'll bet it would be great!
@Gary .. not sure what you mean. Are you going to sub the hazelnut for the butter pecan? If so, it will be good with the same amount, if it's FW. Don't know what toasted almond or butter would do. Might wanna make some small testers to see. :)
Yes. Was going to try either one of them for the butter pecan but was not sure how much butter to add, going to order some butter pecan as this sounds lovely and also want to try your bust-a-nut :)
I have CaP's but haven't even opened it, @ericnnicole. Based on what other's have used them at in recipes, I'd probably try using the CAP @ 2% or TFA @3% in this recipe.
Hey Alisa, getting into the nuttier stuff at the moment! I don't have the French Vanilla Creme, but do have French Vanilla(TPA) and various Creams, how would I adapt these to get close to your mix? Thanks.
@Sub Vapes - plain French Vanilla isn't a good substitute (IMHO). I would sub with CAP Vanilla Custard v1 at the same percentage. The French Vanilla Creme is very heavy, thick tasting. Kind of like a vanilla malt. It really works well with this mix.
Thanks Alisa, I'll order some FVC to get the original recipe down, but in the meantime, I couldn't resist mixing a subbed version! It's in solitary confinement, err, I mean steeping right now. : )
@Lucas James Holden - The French Vanilla Creme is very heavy, thick tasting. Kind of like a vanilla malt. It really works well with this mix. I wouldn't sub the very much lighter, French Vanilla Deluxe. If I had to use a substitute, maybe CAP Vanilla Custard v1 @ same percentage.
Has anyone ever tried adding tobacco to this recipe ? I'm trying to reproduce the "Pecanilla" juice you can find in the UK and it has tobacco inside it.
