TFA = The Flavors Apprentice

FW: Flavor West
Recommended steep time is 3 days but it's also good as a shake 'n' vape. However, I recommend waiting the 3 days for all the flavors to fully mix. Enjoy
NOTE:
As of 09/17/2015 this recipe has been changed. I bought a 180ml bottle of One Hit Wonder "Milk Man" and have "cloned" this tastey ejuice to the best of my ability. I personally think it tastes about 95% spot on with the difference being OHW has more sweetener. The recipe calls for one drop in a 27ml unicorn bottle so if you want it sweeter just add more. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a closer clone recipe.
Don't forget to check out my YouTube vape review channel at: http://www.youtube.com/user/vapefog
Never had the real Milk Man but this is an absolute wonderful and delicious strawberry vape. A little too much sweetener for my taste so I may revisit without the sweetener but it's on point!
Been following this recipe til I finally got my flavors today!! Well, it doesn't smell like the real deal, not even close I dare say. But it doesn't smell bad either. I'll be back in a few days to update on this.
Sorry.. Forgot to come back. I've been vaping this since the day I posted, unfortunally I don't own a OHW milkman (hard to buy in here). BUT, I can breakdown for you guys.
So, let's beakdown by time:
1-3 days: small hint of strawberry enclosed with a strong sugary taste (good vape)
4-7 days: strawberry starts to come out a bit more, and the creams starts to come together (extremely vapable)
8-15 days (which is where I am today): strawberry completely blended with creams, when you exhale from your mouth and let the vape go through your tongue, it tastes like strawberry with sugar. If you exhale from your nose, you get a very nice creamy "smell/taste", which for me is my personal choice of exhale, lol.
So, to finish my essay, I'd say this is a freaking stupidly nice vape, I was a mother's milk vaper, but now I don't miss that anymore.
9/10 for my personal taste. I will make another batch with a little less strawberry, because when I tasted the ohw one, I felt a little presence of strawberry and that was it.
Another point comparing the two is: the ohw feels creamier (I mean the vapor, like comparing juice to milkshake).
Do you think Cap Sweet Strawberry would work instead of the FA one in this mix? I have never tried FA Strawberry, I think it's more authentic fruit taste than all the other ones? But does it "make" this recipe or will it be OK with Cap, same percentage?
Started mixing about two weeks ago with several ruined batches as a result but this one Yeaaaaaaah !!!! I replaced the Ethyl Maltol with TPA Cotton Candy. Already tastes great after just one day of steeping with 10 minutes in hot water to get the steeping started.
Want to see this recipe come alive? As you talked about in your video "something else I cant put my finger on".... I have not made this, probably wont, but .... 1% Citric Acid (10%)... Let it sit a week! Enjoy
Depending on this actual mix.... It could be .5% and could be as high as 3%... You will have to find the bullseye yourself! I know some people say that citric pops flavors for only a few days. In tiny amounts thats what it does. Use more!!!
One last thing. When you use 1-2% citric (Roughly) it will expose any mixes/ parts of mixes that are over-flavored. Then reduce it by 10%, then 20% until you get it right. My guess? Milk Man is probably around the 14-15% total ( inlcuding citric ) Again, I am just going/basing it off my experience with mixing.. Close to 4 years
Ethyl maltol at 2% mutes other flavors. Ill reduce to 1% next time.
I don't have TFA VBIC, used CAP at 5% but it's strong. Will reduce it to 3% next time.
I mixed this with 2 substitutions: I used TPA Bavarian Cream instead of FW, and I used the regular Sweet Cream, not the DX version at 3%. Between Day 1 and Day 30, it tasted like Strawberries and Cardboard milk. This is due to the large amounts of Sweet Cream, and the stubborn steeping nature of Bavarian Cream.
But.. after 30 days, it is truly a magnificent display of your mixing and cloning abilities. Perfectly tuned strawberry note and the same thick milky flavor of the original Milk Man. I agree that it is 95% close to the original. It would have taken me months to get to this recipe. Thank you, and keep up the great work.
Very Nice! Thanks for sharing . My only sub was TPA bav @ same % instead of the FW. I made a 30ml waited 30 days blasted thru it in 2 days. Promptly made another 120 waited 30 and vaped it in less than a week . next batch at least 250ml. Very creamy and I was able to vape 120ml straight thru without want to grab another tank to change it up. Bravo!
First of, I tried many of the "Strawberry Milk" clones. The Cuttwood one, the Suicide Bunny one and many more.
Second, I had to sub some of the flavors. Had to use TPA Bavarian Cream, the non-DX Sweet Cream, Capella Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and like ShaggBaggins I used 5% TPA Strawberry because I didn't have Red Touch.
Now the conclusion. Freshly mixed it's already awesome as F***!!!
I think my Capella Vanilla Custard is/was the issue with the other recipes because they all had a very odd taste to them. I accidentally put 0.2% Sweetener but it's still awesome.
I'll let it steep for the recommended 3 days and hope it get's even better.
I added too much sweetener by mistake... (weigh scale was not reacting)
what do i do now ?
Made a 15ml batch with atleast 10 drops of sweetener (TPA)
Please help... cannot make more since i dont have more bottles :(
This was my first mix using EM. It was very interesting to me. I get more of a commercial juice taste. I think I need to figure out the perfect balance of sweetener and EM, when I want a sweet juice. I used Cap SS instead of TFA sweetener. It's too sweet for me. I don't understand using 0.1% sweetener. Does that actually have any effect on the taste at that low of a percentage? I'm going to mix with TFA next time to see.
This recipe is very good, but when I make too big of a batch the strawberry fades away. Anyway to remedy this? I have this problem with all my strawberry and cream recipes.
@cincinnatiking does the flavor fade because of the batch size (like it's faded right away) or does it fade because you are keeping your batch for a longer time? I'm just wondering because i vape my batches fairly quick and want to make a big batch.
I never notice any fading. But I also have upped the amount of sweetener I use in this which has brought more of the strawberry flavor out for me. I usually make 300-600ml at a time
This RECIPE commands respect, I think it's the best strawberry cream on hear period, you get that lovely sweet powdered sugar strawberry and it's not the strongest flavor but defiantly one of the smoothest balanced on hear, I'm actually thinking of using FA meringue instead of sweetener as I feel that is better than any sweetener
Had every flavor except tpa strawberry I sub'd reg in strawberry and Right off the rip I'm getting all strawberry I'm sure the milk will come out after a couple of weeks steep time... excellent attempt for the oh soo elusive ohw mm clone! I'll edit when I get the concentrate that I need and add to my 1st impression! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE =5 STARS
I am almost strawberry blind. The one shot from LB of milk man gives me a big juicy bite of ripe strawberry, one of the only strawberries I actually taste. I have a lot of strawberries but not FA. Is that the key? Is FA a stronger, thicker strawberry than others like cap, tfa, inw, etc?

I'm at a loss for words.. I too cannot taste strawberry anymore so I added .01 to each strawberry and I'm in ohw milkman heaven! I order the one shot from liquid barn but this is so much better! Especially I am a MTL vaper so low flavor percentage recipes don't work for me. Thank you so much for sharing and if you have any advice on how to increase the flavor percentage slightly to fit MTL please let me know!!!! Thanks again!
