Yeah I use pear as a booster in some of my mixes. Depending on the mix, it "loosens" it up, adding juiciness without adding pear flavor. FA pear is good in this way. Works quite nice here too. Cuts some of the richness down and gives it that moist (had to use that word) mouthfeel. But who know where this will be once the cremes steep out.
I like the idea, I will try this. Except for the MF vanilla, I did ear good things about it but don't have any and will not get another vanilla. Got quite a few already. Any suggestion of one that is close to MF?
I'm not that thrilled with MF vanilla. Its good but there are better, cheaper options... like INW shisha!! MF has a slight pepper/custard back to me. Like tfa custard.
This one still has a good 3 weeks before I will know where it lands. Just lettin ya know :)
The ruby pot de creme adaption is good so far too...
