Ok...so I started mixing since I took up vaping back in 2010 and keeping it real, I’m still a total noob and I suck lol. However, I’ve been vaping Castle Long Reserve & Castle Long exclusively as my ADV since they were both released and it’s what got me off my 2-3 pack a day habit. Despite not having a trained pallet, I know damn well what this liquid is supposed to taste like! Five Pawns changed their recipe early in 2017 for the regular version and it tastes NOTHING like Castle Long should IMO. The reserve edition (although altered batch to batch over the years) is seriously amazing and my absolute favorite liquid, however being a “limited” yearly release (and keeping real quite expensive when you vape 60ml+/week) I desperately needed to find an alternative...so I turned to DIY again a few months ago and after trying a quite a few recipes that somewhat resemble Castle Long/Reserve, I’ve made a few minor tweaks and this is the first mix that actually satisfies my craving and IMO is about as good as it gets. So, if you’re familiar with the original PLEASE give this a try and let me know what you think!! I want to thank EWS for the Castle Long V2 Clone from which this is heavily based on and ask for everyone’s feedback so I can get it as close as possible to the original!
TL;DR Castle Long was awesome, now it sucks. Getting very close, but help a n00b out lol.
