LordVapor asked if anyone had tried making their own Irish Cream and listed what was in it, I thought about it for a few minutes and created this recipe. Never tried it.
Now this recipe has both Chocolate (FA) and Coco (FA) in it - that means that this liquid is probably not great at high temperature - so experiment with power to find your sweet spot! :)
You can make a concentrate of this, using the blue wrench, and use this as a flavor in recipes that require irish cream :)
I have been trying for ages to get a realistic Irish Cream. The pre made concentrates dont come close. Im missing the espresso. But the Irish Cream I make this time of year uses condensed milk. I have Kentucky Bourbon, closest thing to our great canadian rye whiskey. (Now on my list)The cocoa and chocolate mix I have tried. Im not a coffee vape lover. The closest thing I have is Tiramisu. Im going to try and sub...but in the long run... I think Ineed to make an order...lol
VapinDave here, Lars, I'm so happy to see that you've posted this recipe!!! This is the one that was just "off the top of my head" as you said in the two year old thread! It was and still is one of about 5 e-liquids that I must have on hand. I must say it's a damn good juice for something you just came up with on the fly, you're not unlike Rainman, (the photographic memory part anyway). Thanks so much for posting this, I'm forever in your debt.
VapinDave/Poyn2Ohmyvayp - Thank you for the kind words :) I am very happy that you liked it - I guess I was inspired and got lucky! You're more than welcome to rate it, by the way :D hehe
Im gonna try this but will sub the fa chocolates with mf dark choc. Figure it cant hurt, just gotta pin down the right % and its a gonna be a steeper! Do you have any mf dc experience, if so any recommendation?
It's only been about a week and I had to sub NicVape's whisky for FA, but this is really awesome—fantastic combo. The ratio of chocolate to coffee and cream with a slight alcohol note from the whisky is great. Definite keeper in my rotation and glad I mixed it up. It's helped me rediscover my love for FA Dark Bean. ;)
Great recipie... I subbed WF roasted pecans and cream for espresso...but espresso just arrived...whoo hooo . im usung Kentucky Bourbon.. But I found it needs a little increase to get noticed... Thanks for posting
I really want to try this one, but I am allergic to almonds. Not sure if such a small amount of almond flavor would do anything, but don't want to risk it. Any possible substitutes?
Lars...This is the only place i could find to contact you. When i try to rate a recipe it tells me a rating must be accompanied by a comment.... and i do.... but still doesn't let me rate
