This is my take on Apple Jam Monster :) definitely not a 1:1, this is my personal fav from Jam Monster, my friends and I didn't quite feel that the butteriness was strong enough compared to strawberry JM.I used JFMDEVELOPMENT's remix as a sort of guide, so I can't take credit for this. I've noticed that INAWERA's shisha line has a real solid, naturally jelly kinda taste in their flavorings, so I won't use any other apple to give that flavor. However, I believe that the shisha apple is too green of an apple, so I balance it with 1 drop per 10 ml of FA Fuji. Again, this is NOT 1:1, but I feel that it does a great job at accomplishing the flavor profile boasted on a bottle of Apple Jam Monster. Steep at least 2 weeks, hope you like it :) Edit* After a 2 1/2 week steep, I've gotta say I feel like I nailed what I set out to do. Most definitely NOT a 1:1 with the original, but I actually prefer it. Looking at the original, it tastes like apple jelly with a vague hint of buttered toast. Mine is about the opposite. The shisha apple does resemble a jelly texture, but it tastes almost exactly like southern, homemade apple butter spread over toast. I'm personally satisfied with my results, I feel like it could be my new ADV. If you have any suggestions or substitution ideas, please let me know in the comments.
