This is my first of my REMIX series where I take some old recipes and turn them into something else. The original recipe is my SVBICC (Strawberry Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Cone). I turned it into a cheesecake flavor. This is pretty much a soft and creamy cheesecake, that is sweet and less...cheesy. The star of this recipe is the crust. It's nice and rich, and more prominent than my other recipe. And that strawberry drizzle comes in nicely adding a sweetness to the entire vape.

I just made your original recipe and, after 3 days of steeping, the biscuit is so strong. It's not a bad taste but it is dominating the juice. I used the biscuit in one other recipe, at 1%, and getting the same thing. Will this die down and let the other flavors come through after steeping longer? I want to try this 1 but don't have apple pie flavor yet. Love your youtube videos, your podcast and your passion for what you do. Thanks and look forward to trying this one.

Ditto on the INW Biscuit.

I have mixed your original recipe and even after a full two weeks the taste of Biscuit is strong. Now, I am not usually good with strawberry flavor (can't really taste much other than tartness and maybe a bit of sweetness) but this thing is shadowing the creams too.

Don't know man, I will try to half the percentage from now on. Many thanks for all the hard work, of course!

I mixed the original at half percent on the biscuit and after a week steep its much more enjoyable than the 1% biscuit in my opinion. Gonna have to mix this recipe tonight. Love your recipes and content Wayne

any alternatives to apple pie?

+1 on the sub for apple pie. As much as I see it's a diverse flavor, I'm also seeing it used in place of regular pie crust since the Apple seems to be very faint and there's apparently barely any spice to it. So I'm guessing using a pie crust at low % might work but that's just a guess...Wayne will have to confirm that.

Can I replace apple pic with apple jacks type fw for a similar flavor?
#12 by Briggs, Apr 27. 2016, 02:10
I ask because I have no apple pie and that apple jacks taste alot like apple pe to me and what % should I try
#13 by KendallVapes, May 17. 2016, 21:11
@Briggs No that would not work. FA Apple pie has barely an apple taste to it. It is mainly used just to make the crust.

Is there any TPA or CAP subs for Biscuit(INA)?
and meringue..any subs for that one?
thanks!
#15 by Vapedt, Jun 19. 2016, 18:56
My experience is biscuit is a class alone. I have used rice crunchis in recipes instead of biscuit but can't guarantee it will all steep out the same. And I don't know of a replacemental for meringue except TPA meringue....and it's not FA. BUT COULD TRY. I like rice crunchies....my palette isn't as exact as waynes....always amazes me how exact he is able to taste the differences. Things steep differently and don't always work with subs. I have bit the bullet to get it right. It's even harder letting it steep. Lol.

Love the use of apple Pie and biscuit to help create the "cone". So many possibilities with the ice base, will definitely be playing with this to create other ice creams. One of my favs, I mix 250 mls at a time to make sure I have some steeped. Love the way you've created your own DIY thing, keep up the great work!

Would you recommend adding some koolada? Did anybody tried it?

Anyone else having a problem with not tasting any strawberry at all in this recipe ?
My batch has been steeping for like 2 weeks so far and still nothing.

Can I sub apple pie with FW dutch apple pie?
#24 by Cristyvapejones, Sep 15. 2019, 14:27
FA Apple Pie can’t be subbed here. The reason he used this particular flavor was because it’s mostly a crust flavor with very little apple present. For newbies to DIY, this a a great recipe to try if you like strawberry cream flavors. Hope that helps!
