A popular dessert in Thai Restaurants. Creamy coconut infused sticky rice with ripe slices of juicy mango.
FE sweet rice is the star of the show here and the main note of the recipe. It fades a little so we use it quite high at 5 percent.
FA cream fresh bridges the gap between our coconuts and our rice and makes the mix cohesive. It also adds a pleasing tropical dairy note on its own.
FA coco and TPA coconut candy blend in with our rice and infuse it with coconut goodness. This might look high for the coconut but it actually ends up pretty balanced throughout.
Flv mango is the mango we use here because it is the only one that will not blend into the middle of the mix or add a musky note. We use it quite low for flv without using CAP sweet alongside it because we want the rice to remain the star and the mango to be balanced alongside it when the rice fades a little in the next couple of days. You will notice the more you vape this the more prevalent the mango becomes.
Cap super sweet actually has a job here and it's to tone down the slightly bitter note you get at the end of the sweet rice exhale. This is something unique to sweet rice and this amount seems to mask it quite nicely.
Delicious after 1 day. I don't taste much of the rice though, does it come out later (or maybe it's time for me to change coils!) Really nice though, great mango, just the right sweetness and juicyness.,Thanks for the recipe!
Does anyone have experience with this after a couple weeks?
I find the Sweet Rice is weak initially but getting very strong over time. In other recipes I've used it, after a few weeks, rice is all I taste anymore.
@Suomynona I find that it tastes better after about a month. I lowered the rice to !% in this recipe. In the first few weeks I coudnt taste the rice at all but after about a month the rice became the back note. I also subbed with Hiliq rice. To me Hiliq rice is much better in this recipe at 1%.
Hey there. Not sure if this is the best channel for this inquiry, but I was wondering if you've tried VT Rice Base at all? Its quite rice-y, very starchy, and much like plain undercooked white rice. I've tried to make this using it as a sub for sweet rice, but I've had to make alterations to try to cover up it's downfalls (adding some EM, horchata smooth at a low %, upping coconut candy, adding VT Shisha Mango to maintain balance). However it might be useful in getting a more solid and present rice note, and helping it stick around longer, if combined with FE Sweet Rice.
I'm an intermediate level mixer from Canada and had difficulty obtaining FE sweet rice. I didn't have FLV mango and subbed 1:1 with CAP sweet mango. I just mixed it yesterday and have to say that the effort was worth it! This is the first time I mix a recipe and feel like it needs no adjustment at all. The sweet rice has a perfectly balanced mouth feel and this recipe has an ideal balance of subtle richness and sweetness. Other desert vapes I've tried tend to have overbearing sweetness or creaminess but this one is a perfect dance of subtle fruityness and body. This is a great ADV and I can't wait to see how the recipe matures with more steeping. I'm interested to try other mangos or even other fruits to see how they taste with this home run recipe. Believe the hype! This award winning recipe is must mix! 5/5
I just want say OMG!!! This is 1 of my ADV. made a batch with inw pineapple at 4%, leaving everything else the say. I really like it. Give it a try and let me know. I just love pineapple. Lol
OMG. I know taste is subjective, but you just have to mix this recipe. It really is one of the best liquids I have ever vaped, and it truly is a SNV. Fantastic.
Bought the one-shot from chefs. It's actually quite nice. I added a bit more Super Sweet in my second batch as I thought it was needed and it turned out more to my liking. It is indeed good as a SnV, but it gets better after 2 weeks in my opinion. Thank you for sharing.
Great recipe, not usually a fan of fresh mangos, *they're alright) but I love this recipe! Mixed a small 10ml batch up tonight, I'm going to have to make another batch in a bigger bottle and let it steep! Not bad as a shake n vape.
Great vape. I'm not the biggest fan of FLV mango, but it fits perfectly in this recipe. It just sort of slots into in the middle without disrupting nice rice/coconut flavours which are rich and voluminous. A really satisfying ADV for me, and it opened up my eyes to the possibilities for using Flv mango. Well done!
I have been mixing for awhile now and this is the first recipe I have mixed by another mixer, I always knew it had to be good, but I just always have been independent upon myself. Anyway it’s mixed and will vape it tomorrow. Thanks Shyndo for all you have done and given to the Vape Community 👍👊👊
I had to make minor adjustments but kept my mix as close to this original. This is like the fresh mangos from the tree mixed into creamy mochi rice. With a juicy burst of mango and the creamy chewy mochi rice. Takes me to my childhood in Hawaii. 🤤😋
This juice took me by surprise at first because when I took the first few puffs I wasn’t really sure wether I liked it or not but the more I vaped it the more I liked it and within no time I had finished the whole tank and my 10ml bottle was empty. This is quite a unique flavour compared to anything else that I’ve had but I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be making more only this time it will be in a much bigger bottle. Thank you very much for sharing your great recipe with us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What can i say for this recipe...
I'm new to diy, and i ve made about 20 top recipes by this time, and this is the first one i rate.
Gotta say was a bit disappointed from diy until i found this...
This is the most special and well defined recipe i mixed so far, and made me feel justified for my effort and money invested to diy..
Great satisfying body without taking over the hole pallet, and the top notes are in perfect balance.
I made this for MTL, bumping the flavor up to 14%, with 50/50 vg/pg and 10mg nic and i don't know if i want to vape it, eat it or drink it :D
This is priceless, i really enjoy it!
Thank you! 5/5
This is a great vape true to the flavor profile. It tastes spot on sticky rice with a nice mango kicker that isnt fake or overly done. Refined is an understatement when it comes to a recipe as good as this. True artistry 5 stars
This is delicious. I love using FE Sweet Rice, but I find it fades after a couple weeks. The remedy for me was to add 1% VT Rice Base to the recipe to hold that savory rice flavor in place. It's a beautiful combination of flavors and quite addicting.
Surprised I haven’t rated this because I sure have mixed it, vaped it and loved it! Best mixed and left for 2 days then vaped within a week - fab recipe, thank you 😎
Truly a fantastic recipe this!.
I made 3 changes with mine.i replaced flv mango with flv sweet mango.Added 3.5% vta rice base & upped the cap ss to 0.5%.really enjoying it thankyou shyndo for posting it👍
