#6 by HarrySmooth, Aug 24. 2015, 14:32
Well, I'm on the 5th day of my steep on this one, and just dripped a few drops on my "Gripper AR-15" Mod with a Council of Vapor "Royal Hunter, and WOW.... What a DIFFERENCE from that 1st day! The Flavors have REALLY blended and matured! It's Very Creamy and the "Berries" REALLY "POP"!!! I substituted. Blueberry (ooo) For the Wild BB (TFA) and French Vanilla (ooo) for FV (CAP)so I'll wager it's even BETTER with the Original ingredients.. But WOW, this one is a WINNER!
I give this one a 9 ( on a 1-10) and would probably give it a 10, had I used the original ingredients!
Thanks for yet ANOTHER Winner from my Pal Darth Vapor!

Harry

Oh, and BTW...I'm gonna let it Steep another week and check back in!!!!
#8 by wolvesmarc, Aug 25. 2015, 00:41
Just Mixed this as best i could with the flavours i had, Had to Sub Blueberry Extra w/ Blueberry Cap
Pomegranate Deluxe w/ Pomegranate Cap
Sweet Cream w/ Sweat Cream TPA
French Vanilla w/ French Vanilla Deluxe TPA
Also upped Blueberry Cap to 5%. Very much looking forward to giving this one a bash, gonna let it steep until one of my new tank's arrive. Thanks !
#9 by DarthVapor, Aug 25. 2015, 11:26
Capella's Blueberry is VERY strong compared to the wild and extra which have more of a subtle, fresh picked berry kind of flavor so be careful not to add too much of caps
All in all this is a very simple recipe and you can't go wrong with all these flavors
Thanks everyone
#10 by DarthVapor, Aug 25. 2015, 14:14
@Wolvesmarc
Those substitutions will be very different from this recipe and I'm NOT saying that's a bad thing but you may come up with something entirely different that could end up being gold? I'm interested to know what it ends up like!
#11 by HarrySmooth, Aug 25. 2015, 17:39

@DarthVapor, thank you very much for your time working on this and for sharing with those of us who want to make a decent juice and stay off the analogs. I made this to your exact specs and my wife and I both think that it pretty freakin awesome!
Life is too short to vape bad juice....
#16 by DarthVapor, Oct 30. 2015, 22:00

#19 by HarrySmooth, Sep 4. 2016, 01:06
Hey DV,,,,,,Long time no hear man!
Are we Good? The last time I heard from you was after I had it out with that Bonehead that kept posting on here that I was OverCharging on all of my Stuff at my Shop! The ONLY reason I even dignified the entire thing by response was because he was full of CRAP, and didn't have any clue about what he was talking about! But anywayyyyyyyy, I didn't hear a PEEP out of you after that happened....did I say something to offend you? Just Wondering......
But I have a question about this recipe.....are you still using the TPA Blueberries & Pom in this???
Thanks Man! And shoot me an email and lemme know what's going on bro! I miss our lil chats!
Regards,
Harry

Very tasty stuff!!!
#21 by Stormy, Sep 26. 2016, 16:53
just awesome... it's in my top 3...love this, blueberry being such a mild flavor, you really got it to come out...I think of this as a blueberry vape. even though there is some strawberry and pomegranate.
#22 by NaKiLLo, Oct 1. 2016, 16:54
I'm a Blueberry lover, so after reading the comments I cant wait to mix this, the only thing is missing is the Pomegranate deluxe, I only have the normal one, what's the difference between them?
#23 by Stormy, Oct 4. 2016, 04:43
I actually just used the regular one myself.. I don't think there's a whole lot of difference in then... Especially when it comes to this great BB recipe.
#24 by DarthVapor, Oct 4. 2016, 05:22
I think using the regular pom would turn out an equally as good recipe but there is a difference between the two. I can't really describe it but the deluxe is just a different take on pomegranate. I think the regular one is more "fruity" slightly candy/artificial side and the deluxe is more mellow true to form, if that makes any sense at all. I love both of them but I know some people who do not like the regular but love the deluxe.
It's worth buying the deluxe and they both work well together too :)
Like I said though, I don't think it makes that big of a change in this recipe. Thanks for the props guys!
#25 by SthrnMixer, Dec 19. 2016, 16:31
Tried it. Liked it. Made 120 ml and flying through it! Nice recipe bud, thanks for the share! Oh, honestly had to sub out the French Vanilla but you know I got the vanilla hookup! :)
#26 by Stormy, Dec 25. 2016, 03:32
Made 3 changes removed the sweet cream and added 4% vanilla cupcake v2 dropped the pom by one percent. And also made the sweet Strawberry 1% lower... Its not better...its different... There is a really nice tart coming through... Love both. This recipe just keeps surprising me.. So versatile... Thanks...merry xmas
#27 by Stormy, Jan 17. 2017, 17:22
The cupcake overpowered that nice balance between sweet and tart that was going on in the early stages of steeping. I'm going to try it without the cupcake and see if I can get that back. I was asked what my top 3 favorite recipes were, this one is in there. not my adapted one...I recommend this recipe to anyone who asks for a fruit blend.
#28 by DarthVapor, Jan 17. 2017, 18:27
Thanks crow! I jate when steeps change that dramatically! I haven't had this juice since I first made it. I'll have to play around with it and make some adoptions.
Glad you like it!
#29 by SupaChef, Feb 17. 2017, 10:22
Love your work Darth! Thanks and huge respect. It's an inspiration for a much newer learning chef like myself. I can't help but ask is Harry stalking you yet and if you haven't caught him I'd be cautious he's probably hiding in your bushes or worse yet he may be wanking in your closet or under your bed at this very second 😂
#30 by Kotoa, Mar 25. 2017, 03:16
Made with the exact ingredients, day 5 after steeping and tastes really good, recommending it to a few friends :)
The taste kind of reminds me of parma violets
#31 by DarthVapor, Mar 25. 2017, 14:29
It's been ages since I've had this one. Lol @supachef! Harry....I plead the 5th ;) His reputation must proceed him. I really do appreciate everyone's kind words and respect. I may not have certain mixes that aren't for everyone, but I try to at least inspire ideas, if anything else!

Cheers
#32 by Diogo, May 26. 2017, 23:46
I opened a batch after 18 days. The fruit notes are good. But I noticed that it wasn't sweet for me and could be a little more creamy. I'm going to adapt this recipe adding some sweetner and a cream base.
#33 by Silva4115, Jun 14. 2017, 13:08
Got everything except the pomegranate. Anything i could sub it with?
Cheers mate
#34 by DarthVapor, Jun 14. 2017, 14:54
Hmmmm.. that's a hard one, if you want the same profile. Maybe try acai or elderberry? Possibly harvest berry? Otherwise I would think a raspberry would be a nice adaptation, although a different profile
#35 by Silva4115, Jun 14. 2017, 15:36
I was thinking blackcurrant or maybe an apricot? Might make up a few batches with each & 1 with ras. Never tried pomegranate juice & cant remember what it tastes like, is it a versatile flav worth getting or is it only rarly used.thks mate
#36 by DarthVapor, Jun 14. 2017, 15:38
Currant is a good idea, forgot about that one. Apricot may work with the deep vanilla. Let me know!
#37 by Nudna Anakonda, Jul 8. 2017, 18:17
Hey Man! I tried Citrus Cananga and it's really great mix! Will be ordering some new flavors and wonder - which of your recipes do you like the best? I don't care about ELR ratings just Your opinion
#38 by DarthVapor, Jul 8. 2017, 18:21
Well thats a hard question to answer simply, haha. The ones I always have in rotation is my Taro Card and The 18. The taro card isn't for everyone and requires at least 1 month steep. If you have ever tried a taro boba tea, then you should love it. The 18 is a wonderful cream recipe but as the name states, it has 18 flavors, haha. Unfortunately it has to be followed exactly or it will be very different.
So if it helps, those 2 are my personal tops for the recipes I have here. Thanks for the props on cananga! That was one of my first mixes, ages ago
#39 by Nudna Anakonda, Jul 8. 2017, 18:55
The 18 looks very tasty but sadly not possible (TPD2 in my country). For Taro Card I can get almost all flavors except FLV Custard, for now I have to sub it with something different. Maybe CAP VC1 or Inawera... What do You think?
#40 by DarthVapor, Jul 8. 2017, 18:56
Hmm. I would prob try caps first? Inw could work too but I would try caps first, closer to flvs.
#41 by DarthVapor, Jul 27. 2017, 01:55
No no, Спасибо! ;)
#42 by Gadya, Sep 8. 2017, 20:38
pomegranate(tpa) replaced pomegranate v2 (cap) - delicious. thank you
#43 by OgDro, Nov 16. 2017, 05:25
This is some good stuff even at shake and vape
#44 by caerrosly, Nov 27. 2017, 12:57
hi! can i use tpa sweet cream and tpa strawberry ripe instead of cap sweet cream and cap sweet strawberry?
#45 by DarthVapor, Nov 27. 2017, 14:14
You could try it? Cap sweet SB and tfa ripe SB are 2 completely different flavors/strengths. Ripe is pretty subtle. I don't use tfa sweet cream, so I can't help you there
#46 by Jdmay, Dec 24. 2017, 22:40
So Darth, I’m about to give this recipe a try..... I’m a big fan of blueberry/blue raspberry flavors and this looks right up my alley. That being said, I’m also a HUGE fan of a flavor called fresh squeeze, there are a few good clones here but something still seems to be missing and not sure what it is. Have you ever tried it? Any thoughts? I’m looking through your recipes and damn bro you’ve got a ton and been at it for years! Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
#47 by Zak2017, Feb 15. 2018, 15:48
How long of a steep does this need?
#48 by OgDro, Feb 15. 2018, 18:43
I give it abt a week
#49 by SmileyDooby, Feb 25. 2018, 19:46
Solid recipe, 5 stars
#50 by back woods alchemist, Mar 5. 2018, 19:12
One of my favorites
#51 by Eggsaladsandwichhead, Jun 24. 2018, 17:19
Delicious! I never seem to have 100% of the flavors, (despite having over 200 of them...) This time I had to sub the pomegranate with the same percentage of FA Pomegranate. It's still so yummy, although at such a high percentage, it may be a quite different juice. Having never tasted the TPA Pom Deluxe it's hard to know in which way though. Thanks for sharing your recipe, it's going in my Favorites folder to be remade in larger amounts.
#52 by DarthVapor, Jun 24. 2018, 20:19
Glad it worked out for ya! I don't have FA's pomegranate (prob the only flavor I dont, haha), so not sure the profile of it. I really like the deluxe, and it's one of the first flavors I bought, as is this recipe. The deluxe is just a different take on their pomegranate
#53 by Vikash, Nov 23. 2018, 18:29
One of my favorites I had to sub the TPA Pom Deluxe with TPA Pom. Ordered the Pom deluxe for next batch. Great recipe always in my rotation Thank you
#54 by 22anden, Oct 23. 2019, 15:56
