A very complex flavor combination. Loud and subtle at the same time. A suggestive mix. This will make you think, "How in the hell did he do that. There is no doubt you can pick out every flavor. No single flavor takes lead in this mix. It's like they lineup and you taste them one at a time. This may be my best mix ever. 10 out of 10.
This juice is simply Fantastic! I didn't make it quite 30 days, but I'll try to hang on to some. I'm vaping this after 18 days and it is so good. I can't say that it tastes like anything else out there because it doesn't, it tastes like Subliminal! Thanks buddy for the share of an awesome sauce!
Noob question, but why does it need to steep 30 days? I have been adding anise to my mix lately. A fantastic flavor. Love it. Thanks for the recipe! On my to do mix.
The wait is over...I finally pulled it out, soaked up a fresh wick on the TFV4...0.10 ohms, 100j, 555℉...rich, thick, warm vapor...quite reminiscent of my childhood in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany...quite delicious, surprising combination, worthy of a 240ml...I'll make it in the morning...excellent share, PV, excellent indeed.
First batch I accidentally added .25% too much orange cream, second batch made per recipe. Both taste incredible, but actually prefer w 2.25% orange (maybe it's all in my mind, lol). Just did 2 min steep in hot water w a good shake & tested on provari mini @ 3.9 v w 1.1 ohm coil using freakshow mini dripper. Best shake n vape yet. Thank u so much Pro_Vapes for this unbelievable recipe. Can't wait to try it in 30 days!!!!
Tasted mine after 31 days. Reminds me much of Licorice Allsorts. A fruit note appearing every now and then. A winner if this is your taste. Thank you for the recipe.
it's fresh and invigorating and stimulating! the taste itself is hard to describe because the combination is definitely greater than the sum of its parts...yet, as someone else mentioned, i can still pick out each flavor. I'm very impressed. i didn't realize that i needed this, but this is exactly what i needed right now!
to be perfectly honest, i am surprised that i even own a single anise or absinthe flavor (i actually had to buy the anise along with orange cream & pear & inw peach just for this mix lol) because i generally hate the sensation of licorice on my tongue.
but i bit the bullet mostly because of these reviews/discussion. and after 10 days of steeping, i am sooo happy that i didn't pass this up!
it's only been 10 minutes since i first tasted this wonderful juice and my mind has already spun out of control with variations that i can't wait to try.... grapefruit, hops, peppermint, a touch of koolada or menthol, pineapple, spearmint, blackberry, ginger, maybe even a dash of cola! the directions of possible spin-offs seem endless to expand on what you did here.
I don't have absinthe or anise, but I did mix this up with just the other 4 flavours. Wow, that's some good stuff. I only made a 20ml sample, but I'll be make more tomorrow.
Every time i go to place an order on Gremlin and see Absinthe in my Wish List i forget what recipe it is for and i dont order it. I just put a text file on my desktop to make sure that i order it next time. Been wanting to try this forever but as with walking into a store as soon as i get there i forget everything i want.
When I ordered bottles they were out of dropper type. This got mixed into a polycone capped bottle and somehow was pushed to the back of the heap. I sure it doesn't need 8 weeks to steep, but 8 weeks later this stuff is ...magical ...a masterwork of mix-i-fication. Bravo sir~! ..and thanks
I just gave it a quick try because the wait is killing me.. Im just going to go ahead and mix 500ml and finish this 30ml today.
Seriously, wtf made you come up with this combination? I would have NEVER considered pear or peach mixed with anise much less throwing some absinthe in it..
My wife is going to hate the smell of this stuff, i cant wait to annoy her with it. Ive been looking for something to replace Simple Custard in my adv rotation, this will do nicely. Many thanks and great job, PV.
Thanx Ken. This is one I made during my infancy stage. I had new flavors and did a lot research. The anise and absinthe came from a tobacco mix I made. You know how sometimes you taste a flavor, then you get a mind rush of flavors you think will go well with it. That's how this mix was born. At first it was just the orange and peach added. After reading about the properties of FA Pear, I just threw it in the mix. For a while I thought this was a failure... Too much absinthe and anise so I shelved it for a while. I came back to it after a month and BAM... This mix is great. It seems to get even better the longer it steeps. I have some that's 6 months steeped and it's still great.
USB is short for ultrasonic bath, but it's not required. Make sure to steep this for a month. It takes a while for the Anise and Absinthe to calm down.
I mixed this with Peach (SC) (Real Flavors) a couple nights ago, 240ml. Ill let you know how it turns out compared to the original. I was going to use Pear (SC) as well but im still unsure of %s on that one.
Thanks again, PV, ive been vaping a ton of this stuff.
I'd like to hear how it comes out. I have the Peach SC RF but haven't tried it yet. I just mixed a big batch of Subliminal last night, so it'll be months before I mix it again.
So @ 1.5% Peach SC overtook the Pear FA, still is very good. Ill probably drop it down to 1 next time, in appx 20 minutes. I still havent found a happy place for Pear SC yet so im going to hold off for now.
np0, I noted a 30 day steep because the Anise and Absinthe will dominate this before 30 days. But it does settle over time. It also gives the Custard time to mature.
I'm not sure what country you're in but most if not all of the top US flavor suppliers carry Anise FA. Good luck with your subs if you go that route.
Pro_Vapes, first of all thank you for your reply.
Will wait to try it when steeped properly and then if issue persists will try to find FA Anise in the european website. I am in Greece at the moment.
