Here's another of mine from ATF I'm moving over.
*This has been my favorite adv since I developed it. Just mix a big one of this, you'll love it!
Needs a few days to steep because of the alcohol in sugar cookie but a lot of ppl love it as a S&V so you might too. I prefer it after 5 days and it continues to fill out as time goes by.
NOTES:
This is a baked custard filled pie that's wrapped in a sugar cookies rather than a pie crust. I got the concept from the holiday pie they sell at McDonald's. It's nothing fancy, but damn is it good. That new custard is pretty much CAP V1 but without the sharp vanilla. If you sub it out here, this will still be good but it's not close to the same thing. The actual pie isn't full of vanilla, it's just an egg custard with sugar cookie and that's why this FA premium works wonderful in this mix. It fills out the INW and takes that dryness it has out and leaves you with a rich egg custard with a full body and buttery back note. If you like custard you need this new custard for sure!!
This recipe is a huge hit with my friends. I wish FA Premium Custard was easier to get. I've had to stop making this for friends till I get more. If you haven't mixed this give it a try. It's a work of art.
You’re welcome! Thanks for taking the time to move all you’re awesome recipes to ELR! Wow you’ve got about 1000 flavors!!! I’ve only got like 350! Lol you’re gonna be a bad influence on me! Haha thanks again for the share Gachatay!
I actually grabbed 3-120ml bottles when it was in the states, plus another 109ml from the UK. I will use every drop of it! I haven't really kept up my stach on elr, I'm well over 1k flavors now. I one of the odd balls that enjoy testing flavors lol. You'll get there over time, it adds up quickly
just made this but had to sub the inw custard w/ FA custard. other than that everything was kept the same. off s&v its pretty good. ill give it a couple weeks steep and report back
The INW custard is a key part to this. Its rich, buttery, and has a one of a kind flavor. Regular FA custard has lemon in it and you get a completely different experience. The mix might be good but it won't be close to the original
DUDE.... SORRY FOR CAPS... BUT I HAVE TO... THIS IS A PHENOMENAL RECIPE...TOP OF THE LINE FOR SURE... what a perfect mix and percentages and balance. I LOVE THIS STUFF!! Although I will say anything less the 14 day steep indint get anything from it, it's to weak, but wow from the 14th day upwards its amazing, I'm at 20 days now and it's so damn good. Thanks for this recipe and thanks for helping me get that discount on FA custard premium a few months ago. THIS IS BOMB GOOD, out of the 120 recipes I mixed, this is easily Top 3...
@Dmeador1 if you get the chance I highly suggest you get the custard premium, it's one of a kind. I mainly vape custards and I haven't found anything close to what this stuff does in a mix. You'll really like it
I do Get. Check out my custard cake. If you don't have cream Charlotte then I'd say add 1.5% of custard premium in it's place or just leave it out. Cream Charlotte is real buttery and works lovely in it so premium custard could work as a sub
thanks, found it on ATF. I have all those flavors except for the cream charlotte and the butter pecan (and the TPA vanilla cupcake which I would sub with CAP). I would have dropped the butter pecan anyway due to a nut allergy and I won't vape any juice with a nut element. I know nut flavors don't have any actual nuts in them but they give me a weird feeling I'd rather avoid.
The butter pecan adds a dark richness that's important to the recipe. For the cream Charlotte try the sub I suggested, and for the butter pecan maybe add something like 1.5% TFA RY4 double (it won't taste like tobacco at all I promise) or maybe something like 0.75% brown sugar
I'm sure it'll be good with holy vanilla, but that cream Charlotte is very buttery that plays to the custard. I'd try the premium custard as a sub so you can get that element
Awesome! I know some people that like it off a shake, but just keep in mind that it really benefits off at least a 5 day steep for the alcohol in sugar cookie to fall back. After 2 weeks the cream base fills out and gets clear separation from the crust. This is when it comes into it's peak and it keeps getting better after that. I always have 120ml steeped and ready to go with another 120ml mixed so when the first is gone that one is done curing. This mix is always in an RDA, my black Drop is dedicated to Holiday Pie
This is the bomb....I just made another 325ml last week... posted a IG pic and gave props to @Gachatay..... still my best recipe to date.... love it at 10 days....even at 60.days its awesome and I use zero nicotine now and this recipe is fricking perfect....because most recipes with no nic are thin and not as good....but this is so damn yummy..... I'm bout to sell 80% of my flavors and live on this and 5 other recipes.... I can't thank you enough...
Mixed a 50ml sample batch yesterday(subbed JF Biscuit with Inw Biscuit), luckily Custard Premium is quite easy to get hold of here in the UK, pretty nice as a snv...but now to resist temptation for at least 5 days to see how it pans out...think it's going to be a corker!...Thank you for sharing the recipe on ELR!
This recipe is outstanding. I am a big fan of your Broke Breakfast, now I also have this in my rotation.
I have probably mixed 10 custard recipes and none come close to this.
Thanks!
Thanks to all of you that took the time to come back and leave your thoughts. I read every one of them and I know we all get busy so I greatly appreciate you finding the time. I feel it's something the community as a whole should make a point to do, it helps new and seasoned mixers alike. So from the bottom of my heart thank you all. I'm very happy this recipe brings you the same satisfaction it's brought me. @Dibbler it's pretty cool you put your own twist on this, I'll mix it and drop my thoughts.
Now for a little fun if you like this but also want to try it with an extra flavor added. There's a few ways this can be adapted for anyone interested, I find even as a complete cookie/custard it has room for an additional layer. It'll stray from this exact profile, but it's still really good and adds a twist. Here's a few extra flavor adaptions I tried personally that were awesome, but I truly believe it'll work with just about anything. I CAN ONLY CAN VOUCHE FOR ONE ADDED AT A TIME...I DIDN'T STACK FLAVORS.
Here's the flavor from certain layers I chose, but remember I only did one single flavor at a time. For example, I picked one cake and add it, not all the ones listed but everything listed I have tried and it was solid:
Cake-1.5% of your favorite yellow cake (it's great with JF, CAP, FW, OOO)
@Gachatay.... awesome man thanks...I have done your Yellow cake addition a year ago and its awesome.... thanks for all the other ones too..... (you should also copy and paste your comment above and put it in your recipes notes above as a added addition.
Oh my days...this recipe is fantastic and the best custard that I have ever made or tasted, thank you so very much. The mouthfeel is so full that it’s like real custard in my mouth and the flavour is just outstanding,I think it’s the best recipe that I have ever made. The other optional flavours that you posted is just a wonderful bonus and I look forward to trying them, this is the custard to rule all custard in my opinion and my search is over. Congratulations and a massive thank you for your hard work and sharing this wonderful masterpiece with us.
Vaping on Beserker MTL RTA @ 14W 0.7ohm single coil.
Thank you, I'm happy you're digging it. Mouth feel is important to me as well, I need my vape to be complete and that includes the total quality of the vape experience and not just flavor. It can taste amazing, but if it's not full I can only vape it a little while and then I get bored. I always incorporate a thickness to my recipes, even my fruits
I believe I have some others that are on ATF and not over here on ELR yet that I need to move. I also have a bunch that I've developed for friends and I just haven't made public yet. I have a lot of family and friends that ask for profiles that I create for them, it's where the majority of my mixing time goes. Going on over 4 years of mixing and I still spend a couple hours daily doing it, I seriously love the art to it and the DIY community. All the recipes I've released were profiles I wanted for the most part, the ones I do for everyone else unfortunately are still private. Not for any other reason than I haven't taken the time to type up notes. When I release a mix I like to have solid notes to go along with it as you can probably see from my recipes. I need to get my notebook out and type the notes and get all these others released for everyone when I get time. There are so many in there that are really good, I know someone will definitely enjoy them.
@Gachatay,you certainly are a dedicated mixer and just by looking through some of your recipes you are also a very talented one at that. I can only imagine the time it must take to type up all of the accompanying notes to your recipes and it must also take a lot of thought too. I have taken a look at your Broke Breakfast recipe and it looks amazing but even better I actually have all of the flavours for it which doesn’t happen often 😝I will definitely mix it up this weekend. I see you have a great Chocolate recipe there and that is a big love of mine so I will try that one too. Thank you again for all of your hard work,it’s very much appreciated. Best regards!
This is insane good. 5stars all day.
needs 2-3 weeks to get to the point where you wanna chew the liquid like its a real pastry custard pie or just drink it right out the bottle. Thanks for this recipe, its absolutely amazing.
I've been hitting this off and on, because letting it steep is difficult. this has turned out really good! I've had to sub a couple flavors, but from what i can tell already its going to be dynamite!
Just mixed a 120...hit it a few times turned around and made 500ml....thank you soooo much its truly an amazing recipe...
Also flavor creatives premium custard from chefs is flavorart premium custard under a different brand and you can order them in 120s to anyone wondering... Youre welcome :)
If I don’t have vanilla cupcake but I have tons of good vanillas (Holy, French, Madagascar, etc) and cake batter and cake batter dip, a tiny bit of yellow cake what would be a decent something to sub with. I know it’ll be different but any suggestions are appreciated!
The vanilla cupcake lends to the icing/glaze that's on it but if you don't have it that's just a subtle accent so the juice will still be good without it. That said, it's a great flavoring so I highly suggest grabbing it on your next order, not just for this mix either. It's very versatile and delicious. That said, I'd just go with a creamy vanilla like TFA vanilla cream deluxe if you have it. This is really good with yellow cake too so go with like 1% of that if you have no creamy vanilla's. The cake batters all are butter heavy and just don't taste right in this, and holy vanilla can overtake some of the lighter cookie notes
Thanks so much, I'm glad you are enjoying it. At the top right above the blue wrench just click how many stars then it'll give you a prompt to follow. Thanks for taking the time to review, it's important to a mixer and greatly appreciated
seen & mixed a few variations of this as it's divine, but yours is the best of the lot hands down, got another batch sat steeping as it really is yummy, only thing I've changed it the CAP SS as I just don't get on with it at all, but used sugar daddy as an alternative sweetener which I just find works better for me personally.
10/10 if you've never mixed this you really should as it's a banger
So I have INW Biscuit and I think you once said I could sub a good vanilla here.(Holy, Shisha, Madagascar, Swirl, Bourbon) I believe are what I have on hand. What % do you suggest of which one and can I sub Biscuit INW here as well? I know it'll be a bit different but j want to try it if you think it'll be decent with the subs!
Yeah you can sub INW at the same % just fine. What part did you need to sub, the vanilla cupcake? That plays a simple, but important role in the frosting but you can get a great vape by using something in its place but like you mentioned it will indeed be a little different. I'd go with vanilla swirl at 0.5% and if you have it add 0.25% of yellow cake (can be any brand) just to get that little bit that vanilla cupcake lends. Let me know how it turns out
Need to sub the Biscuit with INW and yes the Vanilla Cupcake. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll make it up and let you know. I think im totally out of cakes of any kind except Nonna's and j havent used that in forever lol
I use INW Biscuit 1.5% over JF anyway. Its identical.
Vanilla cupcake is needed for the proper experience. A very common cheap TFA flavour and easy to get. Wait till you have it in possession before making this
Well I ended up with FW Vanilla Cupcake and a good bit of it too. Can I sub it at same %? I get it'll be a bit different but otherwise I've got it all here to make it
Yeah you can sub it at the same % and it'll still be pretty close to the original if that's all you're subbing. FW does a pretty good job with their vanilla cupcake.
I only subbed the biscuit with INW biscuit and I feel like I'm at McDonalds sharing a Christmas holiday pie with that MF Ronald McDonald himself lololol This is some good stuff.
Seriously this deserves to be a one shot for sale at all the vendors, ecigx, wizard labs, LB should all sell your recipe with commissions of course. It's well deserved that's for sure. Congrats Bro!
i really wanted to like this one but as it steeped it just got too dark for me. it was ok as a shake and vape but for me the flavor peaked at 3 days and was all downhill from there. taste is so subjective though, my wife LOVES this mix. its the only thing shes been vaping all week and the bottle was mixed on 11/21/19. she says it keeps getting better and better. thanks for the recipe!
That's a fair assessment, and you're correct that we all have different preferences. I like it best from about 5 days and longer personally. I mix it in big batches so I always have it steeped about a month or more. Like you, I have friends that prefer it off the shake so I mix it fresh for them. But on the flip side others get it 240ml at a time so they can always have a steeped bottle ready to go. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate you taking the time to mix it then follow up with your opinion.
If anyone has it, I suggest trying a batch with RF SC Sugar Cookie (I use 3%) instead of the CAP. They just did it better imo and it really shines here. I also preferred CAP VCC over the TFA in this version.
I meant to Warlock but I had a little FUBAR and ended up with 15mls in a 120 ml bottle ... this tastes so great fresh I can't even imagine how good it will be in five days! Definite winner!
It's pretty great so many people have enjoyed this mix as much as me. I need to get my notes typed up and release all the others I have ready, there's some really good mixes I have finished but just haven't posted yet.
I'm brand new to mixing. This is one of the first recipes I bought flavours for when starting. I started with mixing up a 60ml gave it a good shake and tried it right off the bat and it was good. Good enough to mix up another 100ml lickity split which has been steeping for a good couple of weeks. My 60ml that I made first is almost done and I'll be breaking into the 100ml in a day or two and I don't want to run out of this deliciousness so I mixed up another 100ml bottle today. I have my eyes on a few of your recipes so I'll make sure I report back to you on how much I enjoy them.
Hey man, this is some serious mix you’ve created and you should be very proud of this one! 💯 I mixed this recipe and added 2.5% WF Almond Cookie and 0.25% INW marzipan and I’ve gotta say it turned out incredible!!!! 👌🏻👌🏻 If you try it out let me know what you think mate. 😃
A bit late to the party but stumbled across this watching one of waynes videos and i just gotta say WOW! One of the best vapes I've ever had. It's so good I don't want to exhale the vapour, but keep the flavour in as long as possible. 5 stars (if I could give more than 5 I would)
Thanks for the kind words, this mix is still my ADV, I run through more of this than anything else so I'm sure to keep a 120 ready to go. When you mix and are testing it's nice to have a favorite to keep on standby. Faraan I like to give it about 5 days for that sugar cookie but if you aren't sensitive to it feel free to vape it whenever. One week is a good timeframe, but this mix definitely gets better the longer you wait. The way I mix I always make sure to have a 2-3 week steep when I pull the next bottle out of the drawer. Feel free to play with this mix, it's so good as it is but there's a little room to add an accent if you'd like. I would suggest keeping it to one so it doesn't get muddy, but don't be afraid to throw a bit of butter pecan, or a fruit at it. Just keep it low to not throw the balance off but it's really versatile. Let me know if you do how it turned out
This recipe with the FW butter pecan is absolutely the best juice I’ve had since old school Boba’s. Even better because I make this one for next to nothing. Haven’t found another custard that compares to FA custard premium. Thanks Gachatay. I posted this on reddit with full cred given to you. People seem to be loving it... i know i do
All i can say is wow. This is one amazing recipe and it only gets better with age. I'm in the united states so no custard premium for me. I use molinberry legendary custard in its place and it is amazing. i can't tell you how many bottles of this i have made and i always make 250mls at a time. I just used a bottle that i made back in June and its now the end of October and it is simply the best juice i have ever made. Next time i mix some up i'm gonna try it with some butter pecan. Good job man. This is a great recipe.
Broke open a bottle I made on Oct. 17.... This recipe is so smooth and creamy..and has become an adv for me. I'm going to try some of the above add-ins... For sure the banana , and the Raspberry, and blk berry. (Maybe I'll do a blk raspberry ver. But it's amazing will be making a lg batch in the next day or so.. Hmm.. maybe forest fruit? Ty so much for this recipe! Rated with my 1st comment...
I'm glad everyone is still digging this, it's still hands down my favorite juice. It's pretty great people are trying the different variations, I find this is not only perfect as is but it's an amazing base that has room to add one more later if you want to get creative. I've gone from adding mint to adding hops and everything in between and I swear you can't go wrong...just be mindful of the balance. If there's another bakery/custard mix that is this versatile I haven't found it. I'd like to see what everyone else comes up with using this as a base so feel free to post.
No worries strange-loop, post away my friend! The more that others can get a chance to try it the better. I have a 3 month old bottle I just cracked and it's glorious, I found it buried in the drawer. Keep mixing gang, and if you're in the US I hope you have a wonderful turkey day...and if you're not just have a great day
I always have 120-180 mls of og steeping..But wanted to drop back in to say I've added 1% of flv white choc to this and it's delicious! I'll never tire of this recipe!
@deb I like the sound of adding the flv white chocolate, I have a 60ml bottle of this that’s been steeping since December so I will draw off 10ml and try it. Thanks for the tip.
i made this a while ago, tasted a few days after was like its ok, now i just found the 100ml i made 3 months ago, and wow this is so yummy 5 star recipe, i just made another 500ml to hide away for a few months :) recipe is fire, thanks for the super nice vape,
Back again, vaped about 4 tanks of this now, and i got to say, THIS IS THE BEST AND MOST AUTHENTIC CUSTARD RECIPE OUT THERE DAM TASTY, big thanks for sharing this
@deb I will let you know when I can actually get around to adding it to my batch, it’s just finding the time at the moment. Yes it’s all very subjective lol.
Hi @deb, I am so sorry but I forgot to add it the last time I mixed this recipe up but I am due to make some more very soon so I will make a note of it on the recipe I have saved right now. Thank you for reminding me as I have a terrible memory these days.
First time mixing this today, just had a quick vape before a steep, You know when your on to a good thing and I think this one of them, I’ll update in a week or so, Thank you Gachatay for your time on this
hello,
I would like to add coconut to this recipe but I only have capella and inw coconut .. what do you think would fit better in this profile .. I don't have much experience in mixing, and I really like this recipe .. Thanks for sharing and sorry in bad English ☺️
I made a 20ml tester, instead of biscuit (jf) I added biscuit (inw) and 2% coconut (cap) perfection only after three days .. I will make a bigger bottle. thanks a lot for sharing ❤️
I thought I had everything but mistakenly used FA custard instead of premium custard thinking it was the same, as FA tends to add words to their flavor names.... Wrong.
I'll be ordering FA premium once the weather cools off here, because even wrong this is really good, and I can see how a more lustrous custard would round it out even better.
It is UNremarkable for about 5 days, tastes just like someone dropped a bunch of good flavors and scooped them into a bottle and said "ah what the hell", but at around 5 days it turns the corner and starts improving almost daily.
I can clearly see that this is going to be in my ALL STAR line up, one of the flavours that when you crack open the last one from your stash you know you have to mix more.
It's also going to be fun to experiment with as a complex "stone".
Excellent mixing, you have skills.
This got so good that I have just run out and I am sad. Came here to comment again so I could give it 5 stars.
I always have 6 or 8 flavors in a multi-rig rotation that afford me variety and keep me satiated and satisfied no matter the mood.
That being said, each time I raise my "holiday pie" rig to my lips I smile, because it is like a perfect little sugar cookie with nothing not to like, just yummy.
Superb - If you're new to mixing and haven't been happy with many recipes on here, this one is a winner. Don't mix a tester first, you'll regret it - go for at least 60ml.
I updated your recipe with some better modern-day alternatives that are higher-quality flavors. Still a fantastic recipe, just even better.
Marshmallow (Purilum) 1.25
New York Cheesecake (Purilum) 1.25
Vanilla Cupcake (CAP) 1.00
I also used Ultimate Brown Sugar by Jungle Flavors instead of Cap Super Sweet, but that's just a personal taste thing. Jungle Flavors Biscuit is the secret sauce here - INW biscuit will work but it's not as good.
hi, do u think that hazelnuts and cream WF would be a good addition to it? also premium cookie FA(wanna try it for the first time and by the smell of it kinda fits here)
This is the first DIY juice I've made in a few years. I made a big bottle (240ml) managed to get all the flavors and I'm 4 days in now. I'm hoping the creaminess comes out more in the coming weeks. It's a nice mild adv for me with a prominent custard taste.
i am making this with just the INW Biscuit sub. it is totally fantastic in a dripper. i have started it in 300 ML batches because it is my favorite flavor in a series mech .39 @ 8 volts. its flavor heaven.
in case anyone wants to try it, i am using .5% Flavorah eggnog! kind of gives an extra touch of the holidays while not overpowering the basic recipe.
Anyone tried it with pistachio flavour? Thinking to maybe try some TPA Pistachio. This is the best recipe there is! It’s my favourite juice. Never getting tired of it.
