Even though there are only 3 ingredients and I have over 200 flavors... I'm *still* missing one!! Do you have any suggestions regarding substituting the LB VBIC? I have VBIC TFA rom TFA , Cap, & in Hangsen I have FVIC. Thanks in advance.
Lol, nope, the two ingredients that you need to make the custard base work are the VIC and pudding. For whatever reason those two flavors produce an awesome custard.
I thank you Fresh could not see it for looking at it made up today with the strawberry WOW no wonder you are so popular I really like the way you help us when you break down the flavours its ok reading what someone says but watching your explanations GREAT HOBBY THANKS gush gush
That accidental S&V custard combo is just what the doctor ordered. I mean, sure, this recipe itself rocks it hard, but the foundation opens up a whole world of quickies that used to take months. Many, many thanks.
Thank you so much for suggesting this recipe, I honestly wasn't expecting this to be so incredibly good. You really know your custards! I can't wait to see what this does over the next few days if it survives that long. The amount of egg and custard notes you get out of this is astounding.
Well, first it was "Yo nana likes straws"(still in weekly rotation), now this. Besides being delicious, it only uses 3 flavors, therefore costs less money, and takes less time to make.
Fruit? Sure, be conventional. It'll work, and it'll be delish. Try a nut - pistachio's exceptional in this, and I'd imagine that a good hazelnut or pecan would be awesome as well.
Hahaaaa! I got the LB VIC! It has fast become my favorite flavor, along with Holy Vanilla. I forgot about this recipe, but just re-found it andow have all the ingredients. Will be mixing this over the weekend. Excited!
1st mix from ya. Love this! Reminds me of the e-juice bought from my local shop. Always wanting to know the mix but they would never tell me. I think this is it.
Great Job Freshepies. Will be trying lots more mixes from you. A follow and a like on your YouTube channel is a must in my Favs now.
This is good fresh well done altho i do like a more eggy custard this is a great base to build from and i have added strawberry and made a variety of other recipes just using this as a solid base.
Cant get hold of Any LB flavors at all where i live.. I really wanted to try this :/.. Is there no other way to get close? with some steep-time allowed.. ? My plan was to test the Honeydew Custard from the YouTube video with Lumi..
To use thos sort of base you need the Liquid Barn Vanilla ice cream. Sorry! You could use Inawera Custard and then supplement to compensate the dryness in that flavor.
I actually use this at 70PG...yes PG! Only way I can get my shitty metal heavy CBD isolate to dissolve, and after 5 days, tastes fantastic...but stil rips my throat to shreds :-)
True to the word, very good as a shake and vape..... Will be trying also with 1.5% fa custard Premium and maybe inw yes we cheesecake 1% and remove the inw biscuit... Thanks for the recipe 5 stars from me!!!
This recipe only works using the flavors listed, if you try and substitute anything, not only will it be a different recipe but you will also not have the quick steep intended by the recipe. It's one thing to change the flavor slightly, it's another this to change the whole intention of the recipe.
I finally got to try this..needed something fast to vape to lower my nic quick...threw some holy holy grail ry4 at this and all I can say is ...the pool went milky ...❤😘
I made this exactly how its listed... its quite nice! I'd like to replace the biscuit with a bit of cap ripe strawberries. I'd like to hear freshies thoughts on that. This is my favorite strawberry and I usually go 3 to 5% with it. I'm a bit of a low taster but the mix how it is has plenty of flavor.
Just mixed this up last night and holy crap fresh this is freaking Awsome..... I’ll be using this for a base for making up a bunch of different mixes !!! This is exactly why you are my guru of mixing!!!! Awsome job!!
This is good.
I thought it was pedestrian on the shake but damn good after 3 days.
I've made it a stone.
I should be able to drop a little coffee on it, or tobacco, or strawberry, and wind up with pretty yummy vapable cheaters.
It doesn't feel like it will "get in the way" of anything.
I'm gonna mix up another 300 no and just get out my 15 no bottles and start dropping flavor bombs on it.
I'll give a full report.
I give this recipe a 5 star Rick Flair WOOOO! Fantastically delicious, simple, and full of flavor. First time mixing, and definitely not the last. Also going to try adding some fruit to this. Maybe some caramel. The possibilities are endless. Great recipe Fresh.
I started watching fresh from the kitchen around 9 months ago, I suggest you check that out if you haven't. His mixing style vibes with mine so I been going through his stuff on here.
On to the recipe..Off the shake the biscuit is a little too upfront, but it's not unpleasant. After sitting 3 days it transforms into a pretty nice custard base.
This is fantastic. I am normally not big on straight vanilla recipes, but this one is really good and not overly sweet. I mixed a 10ml and let it steep for 5 days. It is pretty much all I have been vaping for a couple days now. I'm going to make a bigger batch tonight. Probably also going to mix a batch with some fruit added. Well done.
It's quite harsh for me after 4 days, and not getting much flavour out of it at all, just sort of warm, vaguely-sweet air :(
I get a similar result from steeping kreed's custard for 6 weeks though, so I can see it's almost certainly a "me" thing rather than a problem with the recipe. It's so frustrating that the one flavour I'm searching for always comes out muted and rough to my tastebuds!
Will there be any benefit to an extended steep on this one?
No, steeping will get you nowhere, I'm afraid. This recipe is as developed as it's going to get by the third day; anything after that is placebo unless you've added something else that takes time. If it's any consolation, there's no such thing as a strawberry vape to me.
I swear this mix is playing tricks with my mind. I thought I was tasting a hint of caramel but there ain't none! I love reading everyone's ideas for add ins. This definitely is a little gem. Thx Freshpies.
This solidifies my theory of genius and simplicity. “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” — Leonardo da Vinci.
Although this may be a worthy SnV, after a long steep it tastes like a complex mix. It does show your knowledge of flavors, freshpies, and I'm grateful for that. Matter of fact, I just mixed an 8 flavor recipe and I'm not as impressed with it's impact on my taste buds. I can neither identify the layers nor identify the main theme of it's title as a whole. I would think it could be accomplished with more simplicity......voila!
Love this base Fresh. One question for the wizard if you don't mind.I would like to make it a chocolate custard,I have chocolate milk by OOO & VT would either of those work with it and if so what percent would you suggest?
very good after a warm bath and vigorous shaking. the cookie really stands out at this point but i am expecting this will meld nicely after a day or two.
