Don’t be scared! Mix it! Thank me later!! This is a perfect simple Tobacco much like old skool TriBeCa but a revised better version lol. Good for DLH MTL and Pods.
Soho blends well with meringue between 7% to 10%. Start at 20% and if you find you have plenty of flavor lower it a bit at a time.
Soho is one of those concentrates that isn't very economical but is worth it anyways. I never could figure out why it is one of the expensive FA flavors when it is one of the weakest. Thanks for sharing, we need more simple good mixes for newbies and experienced alike.
From the FlavourArt website at the time of SoHo's release:
"Please note that because of the complex formulation involved in the production of SoHo, the amount of flavouring required is more than the usual flavourings. We suggest using 20% SoHo flavouring when making up your liquid. To this effect, we have reduced the price of SoHo accordingly."
I spoke to one vendor, asking him, if this is the case, why this flavoring is priced the same as the rest of the FA line. 'Never got a reply. 'Near as I can tell, it's the same everywhere.
The CEO of FlavourArt calls himself 'Niagara' on the Vaping Unlimited forum. He posted on the same thread announcing the wholesale break for SoHo back in 2015 along with some recipes.
So simple yet so amazing, meringue adds a great mouthfeel and Sohi itself is meant to be used in simple recipes as it is quite a complex flavour by itself. Amazing.!
This recipe is insane. I was skeptical cause it's so simple, but it's one of the best DIY recipes I've ever made. I upped the SoHo to 20% as suggested in TheJuiceFairy 's notes - it's perfect IMO. I'm primarily a Tobacco-ish flavoured vaper - and the tobacco here is very present; but definitely by no means over powering. This is so good that I am certain that those that aren't even necessarily intro tobacco flavours will like this. It's that good. Thank you @TheJuiceFairy !!!
I was sceptical about this recipe just recently purchased soho after neglecting this Flavor for years all can say after only a day steep that it's extremely smooth and complex a nice change from my heavy tobacco flavors thank you😎👍
Mixed this up. Had my doubts about 10% SOHO but it turns out really good. Used it in the wasp nano and I could not stop vaping it. This is a 5 star. Thank you for sharing.
This really is a great recipe, after letting it steep for a few days the soho really comes to life, first day SNV I could mostly just taste meringue. After a few day steep it becomes perfectly balanced. Mixed at 12mg 50/50 exactly as posted 10 soho 3 meringue. My only wish is that it had throat hit, its so smooth. You guys have any ideas what I could use for throat hit that won't tarnish the original profile? Thanks again for this outstanding recipe.
@TheJuiceFairy yep day 6 I'm finally getting that throat hit now. Your so awesome. I've been vaping the same stuff everyday for 5 years and this is the first recipe I feel can finally replace it. I curious about making this 3mg 70/30 for my RDA now. Cannot thank you enough, well done.
Mixed this two days ago. I've been vaping 8 years and am now able to say I have my first ever all day vape. I did use 14% soho in my mtl step and I tastes perfect. So pleased I found this. I'm gonna have to stalk Jennifer now to find another one. Top rated recipe!!!!
Finally tried this in my dripper, wasp nano 38watts. 5% Soho 1.5% Meringue. It's good but I don't think direct lunging tobacco ish recipes is for me. I prefer this recipe for MTL. One of the best MTL recipes you will ever try. Have 240mls steeping right now. Its a great steeper. 2 weeks it hits its prime.
Awww thanks jbitts I like it MTL a lot. I also like it as you made it but I rarely drip it. Usually if I’m not using it in MTL I will use it in an RTA.
Mixed this exactly to specs. Seeped 5 days. Stuffed it in an Aspire 2 tank at 17 watts. Good taste. I will make a bigger batch when this 10 ML is done. Thanks!
This is a really good vape! As a newb to mixing I was focused on the more popular mixes, but then said what the heck and made this one up as I remembered the Tribecca name I use to vape. A very simple mix that tastes much better than I remember it to be. I just got a much bigger bottle of Soho to make a large batch is how much I like this mix. Simple is better many say. Thank you!
@MrBrowlingAlley this mix is perfect for an Aspire 2. It’s strong enough yet smooth enough to be a good comfort mix. Thanks for the ⭐️ And for the comment. 😃
@Happy Man! I’m so glad that your enjoying it! I love this simple mix for a grab and go!! Thanks for throwing some ⭐️ Up there and for taking the time to comment. 😁
I've mixed it exactly 10/3, used in my Nautilus 2 and Expromizer V4, both mtl tanks. I'm getting the subtone I can't stand - as if 0,5% of Acetyl Pyrazine was added. Exactly that feeling in my mouth. The flavours were bought 2 months ago. And reading so many positive comments I hate that i cannot feel the same.... Maybe it's just me. Won't rate it but the bottle left aside in the drawer tells everything... Could i be doing anything wrong ?
I don’t think your doing anything wrong. FA Meringue mixed with soho does give the illusion of a dry bakery type note in this mix. If you don’t like the Dry Cookie note that AP can give this might not be the mix for you but with a longer steep it might calm down for you. You might be better suited to replace the meringue with marshmallow. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it but it’s understandable if your sensitive to that particular note
@TheJuiceFairy
Thanks, it helps. Yeah, obviously I can't stand the A. P. dry bakery notes. I remember trying to mix the Goofy's juice several times but never could realy enjoy it while it used to be the 1st positioned ELR recipe. I must accept not every good duy is for everyone... Still, thanks for sharing as so many people enjoy your recipe.
@GreenStreet, this one. Soho is fairly mild so the more the merrier. This one is perfect for mouth to lung vaping. Still vape this daily in my Caliburn and Aspire Flexus Q
How long do you steep tried it after some hours and it seems a bit too much flavouring for me perhaps the meringue is too much for me I ll come back after some steeping
Still one of my all day vapes, using in a Xros 4 or Caliburn A3 50/50 12mg at work and around the kid when I can’t be blowing clouds everywhere. Recently been adding 0.75% SSA milky caramel fudge to it. Thank me later 🤘💨
