Combining hazelnut and caramel produces the creamy peanut butter. While enhancing the caramel feel by adding up acetyl pyrazine. Banana gives out its tiny taste during vaping.
after several days of vaping. the banana becomes very light, hardly there. I already prepared the 2nd recipe which adds the banana nut bread, will try it after steeping.
fantastic... haven't let it steep yet and i can see where that might make the flavor fuller but it's awesome post mix. i did add some banana bread to it as well since i really enjoy the banana in it and others have stated that it mutes pretty quick. good job man!
How much banana nut bread did you all add and was it an improvement? I just tried making this with 4% banana nut bread added. I haven't tried it yet but it smells good, wondering if 4% was too much though.
Been vaping this for about a month and just tried the real thing for the first time. This is spot on and couldn't tell the difference. I did use banana cream in place of ripe banana but with it being a back note wouldn't think the difference is huge. Well done jharwin.
@billy_jean try to add two drops of caramel and two drops of french vanilla per 10ml. Then after shaking, take it to warm water for 30mins. Let it steep for another two days. Enjoy!
This is becoming one of my favorites. I'm actually liking it better than the original which I could never really taste the banana. At first, the banana in this one was dominating. Now, after 3 days everything is calming down and it's becoming a very nice vape. I just hope the banana doesn't fade away too much.
Havent tried the real thing but this stuff is good. Gonna add this to my flavor list at the shop. Much credit to Five Pawns for the flavor but no juice is worth what they're asking.
I looked the recipe and tried it. After 10 days steep, tried this and would like to say not even close to real thing maybe %10-20 there. Not suggesting.
Thanks rohin7 for the confirmation. I've tried the recipe but it will be better if use Peanut butter (TPA) rather than Hazel nut. The taste is almost similar to original grandmaster.
Billy, I used ripe banana and followed all the ingredients as suggested in the recipe including TPA brand. But I found that it is closer to original when I switched to peanutbutter TPA.
I didn't have Ripe Banana (TPA) so I subbed FLV banana. a day after mixing the banana was very perfume-y so I let it breath overnight in a hot water bath and that did the trick. It tastes pretty damn good after 5 days of UC/heat! Maybe a bit too much banana right now but that's my fault because FLV is stronger than TPA. Before I buy TPA ripe banana for this I'm going to try another tester with half as much FLV banana. Nice job jharwin!! 4 stars
I've found the banana is too overpowering. I have deleted the banana entirely for my next test brew, but I get the feeling he other flavour percentages need upping.
@mixtard - how long did you steep? I thought the banana was strong at first too but the banana will fade to sweetness and blend into the mix after this has aged a bit. I like this after a month or more of steeping.
@MadtTownMax- The banana has subdued very sllightly, but the flavour is weak overall. I'm going to change the flavours from 0.5, 3, 1, 5, 1 0.5 to 0.5, 4, 1, 5.5, 1.5, 0.5 and see how that goes
I added 5% distilled water to this. (I mixed at 50/50 not 60/40) What a huge difference for me. To my wife and I, that was the peice missing to make this spot in to what we remember the original tasting like. Thank you!
