This is crazy GOOD !
#6 by michaelbaxter, Nov 17. 2015, 04:53
Tried it but it wasn't my cup of tea. I'm probably the odd man out on this one though as apple hasn't tasted amazing for me on my vaping yet.

I have everything except for the honey, if I dont add that, do you think it would still be awesomeness?
#8 by NotCharlesManson, Dec 16. 2015, 02:40
Yeah, it should still be good. It'll be missing some dark sweetness, so it may be a little too bright from the Fuji. I would try dropping the Fuji to 3% and raise the Caramel to 1.75 to 2%.

Tried this but I find that even at .25% the honey is quite strong. I think honey just isn't my cup of tea. I'll try it with brown sugar and see if that works.

@NotCharlesManson I just made this flavor exactly to your recipe. I have to say you are a genius!!! What a great complex flavor and I'm still in shake and vape mode with it! One question: Can you tell me which flavor is giving off that almost spicy taste? I think it's the honey but I'm not sure but it give the juice a awesome kick!! Once again thanks for posting this, for sure a new ADV for me and I haven't even popped it in my USC yet!!!
#11 by NotCharlesManson, Dec 22. 2015, 15:13
Wow, thanks for the kind words! I'm thinking that's the caramel, honey, and meringue all playing with each other. I use that same combination and ratio in a bakery recipe and get the same "almost spiciness" feel.
#12 by Borders_03, Dec 22. 2015, 15:57
Ok thanks that's good to know, I was thinking the same thing that taste would be good in other recipes. I did forget to mention that I made mine PG/VG 20/80. It was still very tasteful. Can't wait to see what it does after 2 hours in the ultrasonic. Thanks again! Will be trying more of your recipes for sure. Any favorites of you like the most other than this one?
#13 by NotCharlesManson, Dec 22. 2015, 16:00
Of my recipes? My Strawberry Shortcake Bar seems pretty popular. Honeybee is a good one too.
#14 by Borders_03, Dec 22. 2015, 16:18
Ok thanks. I was going to try your unicorn milk clone next I think. Any thoughts on that one?

Great mix. Soothing.
#16 by W0WZA, Apr 15. 2016, 02:02
Did anyone try this without the honey yet?
#17 by totoyfly, May 13. 2016, 04:53
Try subbing FA Caramel with TPA Caramel (Original) for deeper "cooked" fruit flavor.

Made this today, Going to let it sit for a few hours and let you know - followed it to the T including diluting the honey.

Keep going back to try this one but it just tastes odd to me, Maybe i didn't mix in enough honey but i thought i followed it correctly

Great mix, as usual... At first, the honey was way too prominent for me, but after steeping for a good few weeks this is pretty delicious. I think I might still drop the honey % down a tad though.
#21 by DIYer_Straits, Aug 17. 2016, 10:24
I have all except the Caramel. Will have to give this a go without it.
#22 by kster, Oct 29. 2016, 04:57
mx360, I use a lot of FA flavourings, and one thing I've learned is they do need a bit of time to settle in. They are strong flavours and need that time to beak in.

Thanks @NotCharlesManson this recipe is in my daily rotation! It's great. Thanks for your contribution to the community and thanks for introducing me to FA Honey. I love playing with it. Nothing to post yet. It's a tough nut to get right but that's part of the fun of DIY.

was just ok for me
#30 by duke4e, Nov 14. 2019, 22:25
Great flavor, but way overpowering for my taste.
#31 by Sevencasper, Dec 21. 2019, 06:06
I like this very much, it is another in my regular rotation, thankyou :)
#32 by lotolax, Jul 7. 2020, 03:52
I will definitely say that it's complex and interesting. There is specific flavor that I really don't care for, and I think it might be the honey. I could have put a drop or two too much, but my friend really did enjoy the flavor. I'm also sensitive to certain flavors.
#33 by Lars, Sep 10. 2021, 15:56
I didn't try this exact recipe, but I made a recipe based on it - only switched one flavor and adjusted some % - very tasty! I can tell that the original recipe would be equally tasty! :)
The tiny bit of honey really changes the flavor a lot - very nice!
