This simple recipe is meant for low wattage MTL devices like the Juul and Suorin Air/Drop.
Don't be afraid of the high percentages of flavoring. These devices need triple to quadruple the amount you'd use for a typical RDA. This is a very accessible recipe as most people already have these flavors in their stash.
After 5-6 iterations I really like this mix. I tried INW Pineapple and FLV Mango but when I pushed them high enough to saturate the flavor it wasn't what I was looking for. The Capella Golden Pineapple and Sweet Mango can go pretty high without getting all weird.
I was still missing some depth, so I went searching other mango recipes. It seemed that people were using peach to brighten things up a little and fill out the profile. So I went with all Capella and used Juicy Peach. You can't taste it much but it rounds out the profile well.
I just got a Suorin Air yesterday, I have these flavors so will defiantly try it.
When your developing a mix for a pod how are u testing them, just in a mtl device or just making tiny batches and testing in a pod?
I tested in the Suorin. I knew the flavors I had went well together anyway. I just needed to get the percentages right and the flavor saturation that I wanted. I'd fill the pod with the mix, suck it out with a syringe when it wasn't right and add more flavor. Barring that. Make a tiny micro coil and throw it in a single coil atomizer.
Thanks for the tips. I had thought about emptying the pod with a syringe as one way. Im thinking I will test new mixes on a small rda with just a micro roundwire coil to make sure they taste ggood first. I will let u know what I think of ur mix when I try it.
I'm confused. You labeled this as for use with pod devices and I'm assuming you use Salt Nic nicotine, yet you still only use 3% nic and it's a 70/30 VG / PG blend. Can you explain this? I use 24 - 36% 100mg salt nic at a 50/50 ratio for my pods. I'm just looking for different recipes as I've only been doing primarily single flavored batches and I'm looking to spice things up a bit. I got a berry / cereal blend at 36mg salt nic from an online site and the flavor really pops, despite the very high nic. So I figured you're really onto something with adding much more flavor for pod devices. Any tips, in addition to what you've already provided for us, would be majorly helpful. Thanks.
Great simple liquid! I mixed this up with salt nic at 50/50 vg/pg and threw it in my mipod. It's delicious. This, and this strawberry guava lime I made are my 2 favorite pod recipes so far
Love it! I was really able to push up the nic concerntrations with no harshness!! Delicious mango combo!! First time i have mixed with Peach and I am very VERY impressed!
JuiceChu try 1% Flavorah Alpine Strawberry and 6% TFA Watermelon Candy. This is a recipe a friend shared with me that's really really good. I tested in the breeze 2 and Suorin pods to develop this.
Is it me or do other people have problems with Capella's flavors tasting like perfume? I don't taste any peach or mango, it just tastes like i had my mouth open when the lady at church with the heavy perfume sat on the pew next to me.
Thank you man this is the first shake n vape recipe for my Mi Pod that's actually worked! I'm looking to make an ice version of this, any recommendations on which menthol flavour/percentages to go for? (I miss those ziip Ice pineapple juul pods. rip)
I absolutely love that so many folks have found this recipe and had success with it, even as a base to build from. THIS is why mixing is so rewarding to me. Thanks for the feedback and positive comments everyone!
just mixed up a 15ml of this. Cant wait for my pod to be empty so I can try it out! I added two drops of WS-23 cuz I love a lil cooling effect to my tropical flavors
@KC I do not. I would startr by halving the percentages and balancing it out from there, All of these flavors are very forgiving and easy to mix with, This is partially why I chose them.
I've been eyeing this recipe for weeks. I really want a pineapple mango recipe for my Caliburn. This is the only one I've found that has flavor notes and good comments. The only problem as usual is I'm missing one flavor. Happens every time lol. I don't have any peach flavors. I'm wondering how Cap's Sweet Tangerine would do. I guess there's only one way to find out. Anyways, thanks for sharing. I'd have to do a lot of testing to figure out these percentages, and I would have tried INW Pineapple first, so you eliminated a lot of the hard work for me. I'll have to order Juicy Peach so I can try your recipe. Thanks again!
Hey, i was wondering if anyone here would be kind enough to point me in the right direction. I mixed this recipe using 100mg, 100% VG Salt nicotine, @ 35% nic, at a 70/30 ratio. I'm using the Innokin Kroma-Z with a plexus coil, at 15W. Let this mixture steep for a day, just to be safe. Went to try it out, found the flavor was bland, and the nicotine was ridiculously high. Which confuses me, i usually vape 35mg/35% salt nic from the store with no problems, i mixed another bottle with 12mg of nicotine, which seem to help. However no matter how much mango i add in, the flavor is constantly bland. I even added about 15 drops strait up into my tank to see if anything changes. it didn't really. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? This is my first time and to be quite frank i have no idea what I'm doing. If anyone has any suggestions i would be much appreciated.
I finally got Juicy peach and it was definitely worth getting for this! Very bright and vibrant in my Caliburn. If you're just coming off cigs I recommend adding some Cap's Super Sweet. It really makes the flavor come through. If you're not getting much flavor from this try adding 1-2%. I know it seems like a lot, but that's what it takes for some pod systems. Thank you for this great recipe!
@ Avissarin, if you're used to juice from the store you're going to need to add some sweetener. That's you're problem. Get some Capella's Super Sweet and add 1-2%. Shop juice might even have more in it. I know I'm late, but hopefully you see this comment and try it again
@cincinnatiking I'm so glad you enjoy the recipe. It took me a few tries to get it to be as bright and flavorful as I want. People seem to love it so I guess I did something right!
This works insanely well.
Except if I need more salt nicotine, what I was able to squeeze in is 15% and I had to reduce vg to 60%.
Also, replace peach with Mango from flavour.
