DIY Red Dragon ejuice recipe :: e-Liquid Calculator

Inspired by Halycon's "Dragon Chi"

3ml because its an experimental recipe that I've been mixing in the leftover 4ml/dram bottles LA / TPA flavors come in. Easy to oven/microwave-steep in and sample. Hard to measure the diff between .2 and .25 ml; but meh, try your best.

STEEPING: Shake. Microwave 7-10secs. Remove carefully, it'll be warm/hot. Cap and shake every now and then while its cooling off. Should be good to go.

Test Rig - 2x microcoil on org.-cotton beds in Igo-W

04.21.14 - Still playing with ratios but at 777 (D/L/P) the Pom came in strong. Don't know yet if the other flavors will come in more with time.

04.22.14 - Brother said Lychee was strong in the 777.. At 10/5/5 he said it was closer to the original. Its definitely less sweet so maybe add sweetener to taste.. Changing this to a public post.

05.12.14 - Made a 15ml of the 10/5/5 and I think I might actually prefer the 777 for it's sweetness. Much more candy-like, while the 10/5/5 is more subtle. Choice is up to the vaper.. On another note, brother (who introduced me to vaping) seems to have quit vaping so there goes my test-subject.

Hi. could you explain what are the ejuice ratios 777 (D/L/P)?

Hi Vapiana. The abbreviation is simply the flavors in alphabetical order. So for this one it's "7/7/7::D/L/P::Dragonfruit/Lychee/Pomegranate" which means the e-liquid solution is composed of 7% [D]ragonfruit , 7% [L]ychee, 7% [P]omegranate.

Well I mixed this up last night, I swear I was having nosegasms whilst I was hitting it with the frother. Lovely recipe, I think I may even try adding 2% menthol to it as well!

This is fantastic. I've made this countless times. I'm sad there aren't more 5 star ratings. It's delicious steeped and takes on a beautiful yellow hue. I've had 7/7/7 and I prefer the 10/5/5. I'm adding Cotton Candy next time to see if it would be good addition. Thanks!

I'm getting a heavy perfume type flavors from this after a night of steeping. gonna pull the cap off and let it sit another night before i make a final judgment. I could just be more sensitive to certain flavor profiles.

Overall this recipe is pretty damn good, but not 100% like the original by Halcyon. But a damnnnn good start.
I made this juice following the original 10/5/5 in a 15ml batch.
Shake N Vape: Large throat hit. Not very pleasant. Maybeeee vape-able, but id steep.
1 Day Steep: Throat hit toned down, flavors more enjoyable... but was craving more.
3-4 Day Steep: Very Very yummy. The scent is about 90% spot on to the original, with about id say, a 70% flavor profile similiar to the real deal (Halcyon).

I feel like this recipe is sorta a toned down version of the original. I want more of that punch of flavor that I get from original. I also feel like im missing some sweetness. Anyone have any thoughts about possibly adding a smallll amount of vanilla? i was hopefully wishing the vanilla would sorta wrap everything together and increase the sweetness abit? Thought? I am not a fan of using sweetner to my recipes, want to avoid bc they gunk up my coils.

Overall this is a great vape and thank you pnd4 for the recipe. AAALLLL is vape is dragon chi, so i definitely want to get a bit closer to 100% on the recipe. if anyone wants to throw some knowledge in, i would appreciate that.

(I only wrote all this to be helpful. I know that everything I say is my OPINION. everyones flavor palette is different. i did not mean to bash or undermine anyone in this post. im grateful for this site, the recipes, and the users. have a good one)

I used 10/5/5 with Pomergranate Deluxe (TPA). Good flavour!
