Notes
inspired by the popular treat in NY a croissant and donut mixed together with glaze and cream cheese icing of course!

made 10/17 steeped 1 day so far it is super rich sweet and creamy! I am sure this will change a lil over time with further steeping but for now it is a delicious bakery vape !

I wanted to use FA's croissant but too bad it isn't suitable for vaping. Biscuit INW is hardly detectable at 1% I may make some tweaks some may have cookie FA use it in it's place.

I can't stop vaping this, it's so good BUT I need to see how it steeps !!!
#2 by Amy***, Oct 28. 2015, 13:26
It's been about 8 days an it hasn't turned too much color wise but the flavor is fantastic. Pretty much shake and vape and it only will get better !
#3 by Jaypeg1975, Nov 3. 2015, 05:05
Keep us posted! I'm liking it so far.
#4 by Amy***, Nov 3. 2015, 06:18
It's been wonderful I don't feel it's changed a whole great deal just gotten richer and better with time. Thanks for making it.
#5 by Amy***, Nov 13. 2015, 06:40
jaypeg1975 how has the Cronut been ? has it changed much for you ?
#6 by xalBBlax, Nov 18. 2015, 18:32
Amy, I've never tried the NY treat you described, however all I can tell you is I ate a Winchell's glazed doughnut and vaped your recipe along side it and it was identical....Calorie Free Nirvana!!!
#7 by Amy***, Nov 18. 2015, 18:34
Thank you ! Calorie free is always Nirvana 😘
#8 by xalBBlax, Nov 18. 2015, 18:34
I'm thinking about adding some inawera rasberry or some cinnamon Ceylon to the mix to have some of my other favorite treats, guilt free
#9 by Jaypeg1975, Nov 18. 2015, 18:36
Flavor hasn't changed much but i vaped it so fast...I'm making 100mls now so I'll let you know.
#10 by Amy***, Nov 18. 2015, 18:37
Either one would be fantastic I adore INW rasp and Ceylon FA ! Do it up ! Let me know !!
#11 by Amy***, Nov 18. 2015, 18:38
Jay I tried it again the other day and the taste was just as good. This is basically a shake and vape that just gets richer and better ! Not to toot my own horn 😉
#12 by xalBBlax, Nov 18. 2015, 18:46
Let me just say that I only mixed it yesterday- and it was literally flawless in its taste profile rite after shaking, I can only imagen how good it will be after a week( if it survives that long, lol) can't put it down...👍
#13 by Amy***, Nov 18. 2015, 18:52
That's what happened to me I had to make myself put it down. Hee hee thank you very much very sweet of you.
#14 by xalBBlax, Nov 18. 2015, 19:26

Ooo @Dio nice adapt !! I got that flavor too 😊 Thank you !
#19 by Dio, Dec 17. 2015, 09:14
Welcome @Amy!
#20 by LordVapor, Dec 26. 2015, 12:23
I need to order the donut flavors and the dulce de leche. But I will be trying this one soon. Looks very tasty.
#21 by Amy***, Dec 26. 2015, 12:43
Thanks ! There's a ton of recipes you can do w/ both of those flavors so don't worry.
#22 by TOC MichelleHughes, Dec 28. 2015, 02:03
going to make this up and substitute Catalan Cream for DDL since my TFA bottle hit the ground and it was glass *sniffles*
#23 by Amy***, Dec 28. 2015, 02:06
Sorry that sucks. The DDL is pretty crucial since it steeps and turns into more of a chocolate sweetness but Catalan will be nice ! Let me know how it turns out. It will be a different vape altogether.
#24 by TOC MichelleHughes, Dec 28. 2015, 06:06
It was great Amy! Thanks so much!!!!
#25 by Apathy, Feb 4. 2016, 07:55
@amy*** alisa pointed me to this. I've been messing around with caps and tfas donuts for a few months trying to clone my favorite liquid "mfn's glazed donut" which tastes exactly like a Krispy Kreme glazed donut to me. I'm nowhere close to it. And I've made several testers similar to this, but I use caps at 6 or 7% and tfas at 3 or 4%. So maybe I'm too high. I'll give this a go 2maro. Mine just never turn out sweet for me.
#26 by Apathy, Feb 4. 2016, 07:57
Fw has a donut I wanna check out also
#27 by Amy***, Feb 4. 2016, 08:04
I like to keep my Pg levels low but I have used caps successfully at 5-5% and TFA at 4% you may consider doing 4% of each and keeping the dulce de Leche at 2% ( has a chocolate note in there but steeps pretty well) also if you really want it to be sweet you may have to add a sweetener. I haven't tried FW's donut yet. Interested in doing so now lol. The joy FA helps give this mix a breadiness and the cream cheese icing definetly helps w/ sweetness. Good luck on your clone !
#28 by Amy***, Feb 4. 2016, 08:05
I meant 1% on the dulce de Leche I fat fingered the screen sorry !
#29 by CrazyCatLady, Feb 18. 2016, 20:44
Great recipe Amy, thanks. I mixed up some with Caps chocolate glazed dounut instead of the regular also and it's pretty good that way as well. Thanks again for the great juice :)
#30 by Amy***, Feb 19. 2016, 01:33
A few ppl have used the chocolate in its place. I'll have to try that as well.
#31 by Apathy, Feb 19. 2016, 16:48
Try to get the Chocolate Amy*** directly from caps or in original packaging if ya dont have it already. chocolate donut seems to be a hit or miss flavor from alotta vendors for inconsistencies
#32 by Amy***, Feb 19. 2016, 18:47
I have it already. Thank you Apathy.
#33 by Hammerjagg, Mar 17. 2016, 22:26
I also dropped the ddl. I don't like chocolate vapes too much so I swapped it with Catalan like authormichellehughes did. Outstanding vape! Have only steeped overnight so far so I know it will mature quite a bit. I think I may drop the Catalan down a smidge though. It adds too much of a cinnamon like aspect. But it is delicious. Thanks for posting this!
#34 by Amy***, Mar 18. 2016, 16:35
Cool I need to try it with the Catalan cream in place of the DDL.
#35 by Dawn, Apr 14. 2016, 02:40
Hi Amy, I would like to make your Cronut recipe but I don't have the Loranns Cream Cheese Icing. While I realize it would not be the same recipe without it but do you ever substitute the Loranns for anything else. Thanks so much. I love your recipes.
#36 by Amy***, Apr 14. 2016, 02:44
If I had to sub something out for the CCI it would be INW's Vanilla Shisha at the same %s but I have never made it with sounds like it'd be good. Thank you for the nice compliment.
#37 by Dawn, Apr 14. 2016, 02:47
Thank you for the quick response. I just so happen to have INW's Vanilla Shisha. Lucky me. i will give it a try and will let ya know how it turns out. Thanks again.
#38 by Amy***, Apr 14. 2016, 02:50
Sounds awesome ! I'll be awaiting your trials hoping for success !
#39 by Dawn, Apr 22. 2016, 00:28
Hi Amy, So last week you helped me out with this recipe because I didn't have cream cheese icing. I thought I had INW vanilla shisa. Well......I didn't. So I placed an order for both. I mixed up a of both today. Both are really good. Now I am new to mixing so my abilities at describing good flavor profiles is not so good. But right after mixing and tasting I would have to say that the one with INW is a bit lighter and the one with Lorann's is richer. I will give it a few days to steep at let you know. Thank you again. You are always so generous with your help.
#40 by Amy***, Apr 22. 2016, 03:16
Thank you ! I love hearing how ppl adapt recipes I'd love to hear how they turn out. The CCI is going to be much richer it is a bolder flavor hope you like them both !
#41 by voipninja, Apr 30. 2016, 23:19
This is a work of art. I never liked Capella glazed donut, nor any of the juices that use it, but this is amazing and has made me stock up on it. This has been my ADV for a week now. As always Great work and thank you so much for sharing !
#42 by Amy***, May 1. 2016, 01:11
Voipninja thank you very nice of you ! I'm glad you like it.
#43 by zane87, Jun 16. 2016, 01:38
How would you suggest substituting custard fa
#44 by Amy***, Jun 16. 2016, 06:42
@zane87 I think custard FA is kinda important I know it's just a custard but it has lemony notes that I feel contribute toward the " cakeiness" of the batter in this mix. I don't get lemon per se on taste it's just one of those custards that slightly milky but really more of a creaminess. I'd be stretching it to say FLV Vanilla custard may work idk it's hard to say. Many ppl put their spin on this recipe please feel free to do so ! Wish I could be more help !
#45 by tw2k, Jul 2. 2016, 19:20
I've finally been able to mix this, and it is delicious right away. I haven't had an actual cronut, but, as described, it tastes like a mix of glazed donut and a croissant. It's fantastic as is, but looking forward to trying with Chocolate Glazed Donut also. Thanks for yet another outstanding recipe.
#46 by Amy***, Jul 3. 2016, 00:42
Thanks tw2k it's very good w/ the CGD as well.
#47 by KittyVapes, Jul 6. 2016, 19:26
Amy I normally don't ask about substitutions because mixers like you have already tried every possibility before posting recipes.....but....what do you think about replacing the DDL with Hansgen Italian Cream? I have DDL but I am going to be adding in strawberry shisha and hate chocolate with fruit flavor.
#48 by Amy***, Jul 6. 2016, 19:40
KittyVapes you're welcome to give it a go but it won't be like Cronut it may be good I'd go low like 1-2 drops on the Italian cream very strong you wouldn't want to cover up the sweet glaze frosting. Let me know how it turns out.
#49 by KittyVapes, Jul 6. 2016, 20:27
Yes I don't want to use a cream that mutes. If not the italian cream then is there another you would use that may work better?
#50 by Amy***, Jul 6. 2016, 22:50
Use Catalan Cream FA if you can tolerate a little bit of cinnamon...I am not sure SB is going to be very good w/ it up high thou. If I were to swap out the DDL , Catalan Cream may be the " closest " swap....but you'll have to deal w/ the cinnamon notes..also Frosted Donut has some as well. If FW's Tres Leche's didn't have corn syrup in it it would of been the perfect sub but I wouldn't use it now that I know that. Something along those lines would be good. You can try a Bavarian cream or a Vanilla Cupcake that would certainly go better w/ the SB shisha.
#51 by KittyVapes, Jul 7. 2016, 03:39
Thank you so much for your advice Amy. I love cinnamon and will use any reason to use my catalan cream, lol. I also have fw tres leche and I have seen, like the much loved yellow cake that it has corn syrup. I have been looking for reports on vaping flavorings with corn syrup. I come from a generation that has had so many food scares so I am not so sure of how concerning it should be. Don't use butter, use margarine.....don't eat eggs, eat more eggs....don't eat white sugar, eat sugar free! Um hello aspartame? So I just don't know anymore but I do know that vaping is better than smoking. Sorry if I sound like I am ranting and I really do appreciate your advice. I use many of your recipes daily.
#52 by Amy***, Jul 7. 2016, 05:10
Thanks KittyVapes I understand you plight....it is better than smoking any day of the week but then again for me I started vaping to lessen the harm so I try to use only small portions of the naughty and I have not considered using those of FW's corn syrup flavors just think it's too much of a risk and the coils gets gunked anyway so I know there are better flavors out there anyhow. You could certainly have a similar vape with using Catalan hope it comes out to your likings !
#53 by BoyHowdy, Jul 12. 2016, 11:31
Great mix ,thanks for the share! Perfect description tastes exactly like the namesake.
#54 by Amy***, Jul 12. 2016, 12:14
Thank you @BoyHowdy I was beginning to think you didn't like it since you'd tried the others I sent ya ;) I'm only kidding. Glad you like it.
#55 by BoyHowdy, Jul 13. 2016, 12:21
I haven't found any of your mixes that aren't really really good.I am glad I have everything to make more of this one! ;-)
I may even try to make a small batch with FLV Boysenberry @2.0% to see what it does. Thanks again for the share!
#56 by Amy***, Jul 13. 2016, 12:46
I like the sound of that ! Boysenberry FLV is So good and it is perfect for this I bet you could swap the donut and do a CGD Caps with the Boysenberry mmhh may have to give that a whirl. i always wanted to give this one some fruit but never really got around to it. I think I'll join you !
#57 by duped, Jul 13. 2016, 21:57
At 70% VG this gives some extreme throat hit. I'm not sure what's causing it yet. Just making note for anyone reading. Smooth, sweet, and creamy at 91%. Appreciate the recipe!

Once I get around to it I'll narrow down the culprit and report back.
#58 by Amy***, Jul 13. 2016, 22:28
Interesting I would of never known that since I mix Max vg always. I bet it is the biscuit.
#59 by tonyp, Jul 16. 2016, 01:50
I'm mixing 75vg, 6mg and don't find it harsh.
I made this up a couple of days ago. Loving it !!!
I'm new to DIY, and I'm glad I found this recipe.
I ordered all the flavours just to try it, and it's a winner.
I just made up a second batch with +2% Cap Glazed Donut. Have not tried it yet, but I like Glazed, so it should be good.
Thanks Amy!
#60 by tonyp, Jul 16. 2016, 01:52
P.S. Has anyone tried using more biscuit? Curious on results.
#61 by Amy***, Jul 16. 2016, 04:20
It'd prob just be less sweet @tonyp but being the joy is pretty bready in this recipe I would venture to say it'd get a lil harsh if too much biscuit was used but ymmv.
#62 by tonyp, Jul 16. 2016, 06:11
Ok cool. I'll leave it be then :)
I just tried the mix with +2% Glazed Donut.
Very Nice. Only been sitting for 12 hrs.
This stuff is so hard to leave on the shelf!
#63 by stevejay1, Jul 17. 2016, 16:39
Amy what would be your thoughts if I sub Dulce de Leche (TPA) with the same 1% of Chocolate Glazed Doughnut (CAP) ?
#64 by Amy***, Jul 17. 2016, 17:12
It wouldn't be the same sweetness that DDL brings to it ! Try it may be good idk !
#65 by Maureeenie, Jul 27. 2016, 03:06
I have everything but Frosted Donut.... hmmm....
#66 by Amy***, Jul 27. 2016, 04:05
Maureeenie that's ok you could bring up the glazed .Frosted brings a bit more sweetness and a tiny hint of cinnamon ( to me ) maybe try glazed at 4% overall in the recipe but the Frosted does impact the recipe since I feel it really binds to the Joy making it sweeter and together this must be where some of the cinnamon comes through although it is super mild.
#67 by Enviros, Aug 11. 2016, 19:45
Thank you for your time. I just made this and gave it a sonic water bath for about 20 mins in 3 min intervals shaking between. It's very nice so far.
#68 by mlNikon , Aug 21. 2016, 01:06
Have you thought of using Fa croissant?
#69 by Amy***, Aug 21. 2016, 03:58
Yea FA croissant was my first intention but it's not suitable for vaping that is a part of FA's kitchen line. I still have the flavor just used it in baking now.
#70 by Zugmaschine, Sep 6. 2016, 10:20
I have no Froted Donut! Can i leave it or sub it with anything?
#71 by Amy***, Sep 6. 2016, 16:23
@zugmaschine see comment #66 ☺️
#72 by Zugmaschine, Sep 6. 2016, 22:32
Thanks Amy. I dont saw ...
#73 by M4TCH, Sep 24. 2016, 20:44
This is a very nice recipe. Well done.
#74 by roknbot, Oct 16. 2016, 21:17
Soooo good! On my 2nd 120ml of this. Great recipe Amy!
#75 by Amy***, Oct 17. 2016, 02:03
Thanks everybody glad you guys enjoyed it !
#76 by Kris-p flavour, Nov 13. 2016, 00:52
Excellent recipe, I used 0.5% FA Condensed Milk instead of TPA DDL because I hate the latter with passion. Turned out great. Tried it two weeks into steeping and now I won't know if it gets better with time until I mix a bigger batch, because the 10 ml sampler lasted me one day. Kinda tempted to use SA Condensed Milk next time, it's getting very positive reviews on some DIY groups.
#77 by Ohm_Sweet_Ohm, Nov 18. 2016, 02:53
Great recipe been wanting to give it a try for a while and i love it. Smooth rich and cream cheeeeese!!
#78 by heatho72, Dec 3. 2016, 13:57
could I sub a little AP 5% for biscuit? I know it's very different but I'm out of inw biscuit.
#79 by Mema7511, Dec 16. 2016, 01:24
Mine turned out really yeasty and doughy flavored it's gross, what did I do wrong? Does anyone have any ideas?
#80 by Amy***, Dec 24. 2016, 00:14
@heatho72 I would just wait for biscuit it's really better than AP. If you do try it I wouldn't go high as the biscuit is a back note in this recipe.

@Mema7511 You may have used too much Joy FA it should only be 1 drop in 10mls or 0.3% very small amount. Joy FA is notorious for coming off as yeasty when too high you may either be really sensitive to this or you may have gone a lil higher i am unsure. It's possible it's just not for you. That's ok no juice is universal :) I hope it gets better...I can SnV this one easily as it really doesn't change to me just gets better creamier and smooth. Hope it works out for the both of you guys
#81 by heatho72, Dec 24. 2016, 07:00
@amy: thx. I just ordered more FA cookie so I will use that instead. Will mix @ 1% like inw biscuit. Hope this comes out like the original as I have no doubt it would be delish. 👍
#82 by Lolly, Jan 13. 2017, 21:44
I have no glazed donut grrrr! Will add to next order so I can mix this up - sounds yum!
#83 by Amy***, Jan 13. 2017, 21:51
Yea you'll want the glaze in there ! Well let me know what ya think if ya mix it up.
#84 by Lolly, Jan 13. 2017, 21:57
I certainly will...am sure I'll love it!
#85 by king_dude, Jan 18. 2017, 02:34
Just made it. Love it! Thank you so much Amy!!
#86 by Amy***, Jan 18. 2017, 02:37

#87 by xalBBlax, Feb 9. 2017, 19:49
This is my #1 ADV recipe. Just made another 240 mls....
#88 by Amy***, Feb 9. 2017, 19:56
Awesome thanks !
#89 by DamonP, Feb 14. 2017, 18:52
I'd like to pick your brain a little, on cloning my favorite juice, it's nerdcore believe, (a qtr pound cronut drowned in cream, sprinkled with pear and I taste a light cinammon note) have you tried it?
#90 by Amy***, Feb 15. 2017, 03:44
DamonP that sounds soo good but I have not tried it sorry ! I don't really buy retail juice maybe like 1 a year if that. But since you said a lil bit of cinnamon I get some cinnamon notes off of Frosted Donut TFA if you use it high enough it'll come through as a backnote especially around 3-5% as far as the cream not sure what type it'd be maybe a whipped cream ? Or is it a flavored type cream like Catalan Cream...it gives a touch of cinnamon like note in there. Pear is it candied or more fresh fruit like. Pear FA is fabulous for presenting as a creaminess... curious if the Pear is FA and being used a lil higher w/ just a splash of fresh cream ( clean cream ) FA nice sounding vape regardless. I hope you can make it , I'd vape it !
#91 by DamonP, Feb 15. 2017, 15:27
I lowered ddl and added .50 Catalan cream and added 1% cds. And it's acruelly pretty close. And Its a more natural toasted type of pear. What would be the best pear flavouring? Ty
#92 by Amy***, Feb 15. 2017, 15:58
Depends on your preference. Candied pears would be TFA pear and INW. More realistic pear would be FA. Super happy your getting close to your clone quest !
#93 by DamonP, Feb 15. 2017, 23:06
its hard to pin point if its natural, or candied, since its so faint. but i ordered inw and tfa pear, so ill see what will work best. yes im very happy. that juice without the outta control sweetener, will be pure bliss! thanks for your help.
#94 by DamonP, Feb 15. 2017, 23:07
i seen this recipe and almost fainted. since believe is specifically a cronut. i knew i hit the jackpot!
#95 by Amy***, Feb 15. 2017, 23:24
Your welcome ! I am very passionate about DIY 😊
#96 by Mattor, Mar 15. 2017, 12:17
This looks good, what is the final outcome from everyone's input ?
#97 by mat, Mar 19. 2017, 13:13
I saw a lot of people on here trying to sub ddl. I would suggest salted caramel and cat cream
#98 by mat, Mar 19. 2017, 13:14
Damn tasty stuff thank you

#102 by Lolly, Apr 12. 2017, 20:29
Absolute wonderfulness Amy! This is hands down the best bakery style vape I've ever had. Love it - you're a flavour genius (but I knew that already) 😘
#103 by Amy***, Apr 12. 2017, 20:33
Oh thank you Lolly so sweet of you to say that. I am glad you like it I remember you talking about you were going to make it.
#104 by Sinzuke, Apr 16. 2017, 00:08
Have to agree with Lolly. i love bakery style vapes and this one is super good. i'm new at mixing but very glad i tried this recipe as my first. already made 200ml. 10/10
#105 by Amy***, Apr 16. 2017, 00:55
Wow 200 mls already 😳 Glad u like it, thank u for the kind words.

I'm going to try this! It looks delicious!!
#107 by The Vaping Surveyor, Apr 22. 2017, 15:07
When I get more glazed, I'm making a 120 ml one shot concentrate for this....its so good...
#108 by Shane, Apr 23. 2017, 03:11
Oh my @amy this recipe is delicious, I did away with my ultrasonic (as I broke it from overuse, although have had a replacement which is strictly used for cleaning my tanks.

So natural Steep made on the 25/2/17 and I have resisted till now, so like two months and I've got your juice in a TFV4 Mini with the new TF-T8 coil, good up to 180.

And wow thanks this juice has been added to my ADV.

Your hard work and knowledge of flavour is so much appreciated, I'm gonna go vape & make some more.

Thank you @amy***
#109 by Kris-p flavour, Apr 23. 2017, 03:19
Has anyone tried it with FW Salted Caramel instead of the DDL? Maybe an adventurous swap but it doesn't sound bad in my head.
#110 by Amy***, Apr 23. 2017, 03:45
Thank you @ Shane ! This one is just as tasty on a shake n vape as it is with a few weeks steep your choice 😊
And @krysztofkris someone else asked that before about trading out the DDL for a Catalan cream or Salted Caramel I say it sounds lovely give it a try let me know how it goes !
#111 by Kris-p flavour, Apr 23. 2017, 03:48
Nice, thanks! I definitely will! The recipe is outstanding nonetheless!
#112 by Amy***, Apr 23. 2017, 03:51
So sweet thanks again
#113 by Shane, Apr 23. 2017, 03:55
Ah sweet thanks @amy*** I waited so long to taste your delicious recipe and didn't realise it was a shake & vape. Doh!

Still now I know I'm gonna make a shed load thank you @amy***

Very much appreciated 👍
#114 by Amy***, Apr 23. 2017, 03:59
No problem 😊

Do i have to adapt this to a 30/70 PG/VG juice?? It seems to be a very little amount of flavour. Thank you
#116 by Shane, Apr 28. 2017, 22:05
@JohnnyBigodes I make all mine reveresed as in 70 VG 30 PG no matter what the recipe says, it's the flavour concentrate percentage that counts, maybe you want to try a different coil, I've had this juice on a TFV4 Mini with the new T8 coil which is supposed to be best between 100-140w & will go up to around 180. I found 84w was the sweet spot and when I say sweet I mean this juice is delicious, if your MTL then maybe try STL or up your watts. If you build your own coils I highly recommend NI80, the hype is not hype this stuff is seriously good much better and cleaner than Kanthal or SS316L, you can taste everything. @amy*** is a guru her pallet must be worth a fortune and should be insured. Up your Watts or change your wire, then come back and tell everyone your opinion 😀
#117 by JohnnyBigodes, Apr 28. 2017, 22:37
@Shane and that was the reason why i was asking... My palate doesnt seem to very as good as yours or Amy`s. Yes i build my coils myself, but at the end the receipt beeing very low on flavours dont have anything to do with the coils and could be everything about the base.
#118 by Amy***, Apr 28. 2017, 23:03
Thanks @shane
@JohnnyBigodes I make this as a max vg and don't add any additional pg but that is me. Try it at your favorite blend if you like 30/70 then go for that. It's a bakery juice a sweet milky caramel with bready donut. I vape this day one it doesn't have to steep at all for me maybe you'll do better with a week steep. The overall flavor %s is lower for some ppl but again I have a pg sensitivity so this suites me well. I hope the higher pg blend suites you better.
#119 by Jazzy_girl, Apr 29. 2017, 00:04
Delicious!! Tastes great! Definitely an ADV. Thanks for sharing
#120 by Shane, Apr 29. 2017, 00:36
@amy*** you're very welcome, as @Shelley_12 says above this recipe amongst many others you have posted are definitely ADVs and lovely to vape, I left this Mix for about a month before vaping on it 😢, I really wish I knew it was a SAV, that said it was well worth the wait.
@JohnnyBigodes fair play def change your wire if your not already using NI80 you can grab some for cheap from The Crazy Wire Company, just Google them. If your using Kanthal then that's the issue, if you already have NI80 turn your mod up mate 👍
#121 by Daniel Wright , May 1. 2017, 02:19
hi Amy can I sub the la cream cheese for another brand cream cheese as it's hard to find in the UK
Thanks Daniel
#122 by Amy***, May 1. 2017, 02:26
I don't see why not ! It's there to add to the cream but it does lend a certain quality of tanginess as well. I hope your adaption turns out great.
#123 by Shane, May 1. 2017, 12:58
@Daniel Wright LA Cream Cheese Icing is hard to find as lorann's flavoring here in the UK because of licensing laws, as companies are not supposed to use the name LorAnn's flavoring's...
So if you would like to try @amy*** s recipe so it tastes as authentic as possible...
Chefs Flavours calls them Lauren's Flavours and you can find that concentrate here for £2.40 per 10ml
https://www.chefsflavours.co.uk/lauren-s-flavours/3740-cream-cheese-icing.html

Hope your sub goes well for now although believe me it's well worth waiting, if you can :)
#124 by Shane, May 29. 2017, 00:46
Hello @JohnnyBigodes just as a tester for ya, I tried this lovely mix in my Triton 2 with a standard .5 Clapton coil at 42w and it tastes exactly the same, not as warm although still delicious. So maybe it's not your wire or your Watts. So it could be one of your flavours or your taste buds, I know a load of people have a love hate relationship with FA Joy, check the dates on your flavours and believe me if that's what the issue is, it's well worth grabbing some fresh stuff. Hope that helps ;)

This one looks really good. I'm sure I'll be trying it in the future. I wanted to let you know that your Crunchmeister recipe (it was YOURS right?) is a regular in my rotation. Thanks.
#126 by Harley, Jul 21. 2017, 21:39
Excellent recipe, top of my list, thanks
#127 by Amy***, Jul 24. 2017, 03:39
Howard Hughes thank you for the kind words and yes crunchmeister is mine nice to hear feedback on that recipe it doesn't get any attention lol. Let me know how Cronut goes should you try it. Tonme its a really smooth easy going bakery juice you could pair whatever fruit you love w/ it but I like it as is. @ Harley thank you very much !
#128 by Amy***, Jul 24. 2017, 03:45
@Howard Hughes I looked back and seen I took down crunchmeister Inwrote it back in October of 2015. Nice to see you are still making that one !
#129 by Howard Hughes, Jul 24. 2017, 22:48

#130 by Tauro, Oct 31. 2017, 01:19

I am really enjoying this, Thanks for putting it together
#137 by Zugmaschine, Feb 27. 2018, 13:40
Want mix ur Recipe Amy, but i cant use Joy, because its terrible for me. can i sub it with anything, or is better to leave it?
#138 by Amy***, Feb 28. 2018, 00:14
@Zugmaschine if you don't like joy leave it out or if you like FA wOw try it in its place but it's change the recipe to a degree leaving it out may alter it but not significantly. I've never had it that way so if you give it a shot let me know. I hope u like it !
#139 by Zugmaschine, Feb 28. 2018, 00:34
Thanks Amy. I will try it first without Joy. Will make 50ml tommorow.I will come back after 2/3 Weeks, to rate your Recipe. Its looking very tasty.
#140 by Amy***, Feb 28. 2018, 01:05
@Zugmaschine isn't 50 ml a huge tester lol why not like 10mls ! I really do love this very simple recipe it's an easy go to for me although I don't vape this recipe all that often but when I do I fall in love with it all over again.
#141 by Zugmaschine, Feb 28. 2018, 12:18
Hahaha. Yes u are right, normal its a huge Tester, but i have trust in your Recipes, i dont mix one from you, what was bad. I think this will by good too. :-)
#142 by Moop, Mar 6. 2018, 17:20
thanks for this recipe. I love bakery vapes and am new to diy. just made a batch of this last night and while i enjoy it, I don't think it's very sweet and the cinnamon note is a bit much for me. If i wanted to sweeten it up and reduce the baked cinnamon note, could I add more cream cheese icing or change the donut flavors a bit? If you've ever made a super sweet batch of this I'd love to know the tweaks you made.
#143 by Amy***, Mar 7. 2018, 17:52
Moop I haven't used sweetener in a very long time. I will say that when I first began DIY'n my own juice I felt it wasn't as sweet either until my taste buds repaired. If you want sweet u can add an additional sweetener and yes if you get too much cinnamon you can decrease the frosted donut or like you mentioned increase the CCI. DIY is fun i'd say the best part is that you can swap tweak adapt any recipe, it won't be mine or whomever you adapted from it'll be yours and you can expect it may be completely different could be similar but the most important is that you enjoy it. Welcome to DIY and thank you for trying my recipe.
#144 by tattooedvaper, Mar 9. 2018, 03:52
What are your thoughts Amy on switching out the frosted donut and subbing it with Cap chocolate glazed dount?
#145 by Amy***, Mar 9. 2018, 20:49
Tattooedflavor swapping it with the CGD sounds great I’ve been asked about it before although I’ve never done it myself but it sounds great.
#146 by James Holden , Oct 6. 2018, 14:41
I have already made this with a different custard called Welsh Custard and it was good but I have FA Custard Premium now, would that work instead of the ordinary FA Custard? Thank you for sharing this great recipe with us @Amy,all of your recipes are lovely.👌
#147 by James Holden , Oct 6. 2018, 14:42
Five Stars ⭐️ by the way
#148 by Amy***, Oct 6. 2018, 22:22
Lucas thank you very sweet of you to say. As for your custard it sounds like it would lovely to try it in this recipe. I’ve got no clue at what % to suggest considering I hadn’t used it before. I hope it comes out delicious for you !
#149 by James Holden , Nov 2. 2018, 21:49
Just to let you know that I made this with the FA Custard Premium at the same percentage and it’s fantastic, this Custard doesn’t have the lemon flavour like the standard version,I don’t like citrus very much.
Vaping this in my Beserker Mini 11.5 watts 0.681 coil and the flavours banging and almost like eating this wonderful doughnut flavour.
Thanks once again, this is one of the best recipes that I’ve ever made.
#150 by Nathan17, Nov 5. 2018, 14:43
Hi Amy I don’t have FA custard what could I sub it for I was thinking flavoura custard?
#151 by Amy***, Nov 6. 2018, 19:58
Nathan17 that would be a different result honestly but really if it’s all you have go for it ! The difference is FA Custard has a slight lemon zing to it. FLV Custard also take around 3 weeks to become it’s well rounded creamy custard that it is when fully steeped. I’d say if you chose to sub definitely wait the time to steep otherwise it’ll be missing the custard component. Hope this helps.
#152 by Nathan17, Nov 6. 2018, 20:15
Yeah thank you it def needs to steep but i have ordered some fa custard
#153 by stratu, Dec 15. 2018, 12:08

#157 by Tacofiller, Jun 18. 2019, 19:04
This is so delicious! Will be making more before I run out! 5 STARS!
#158 by LetsRock, Sep 1. 2019, 15:49
Hi Amy i did it how you said, let it steep a week and i feel it faint, like it does not have a flavorful taste to it, like its lacking something or more % of ingredients... any idea ?
#159 by Monia, Dec 13. 2019, 04:38
Hi Amy. I mixed up a batch 10 days ago. And with all the will power i could muster, left it to steep. And all i can say is...OH MY GOSH!!! Never been to NY. Never had a cronut. But after this..who needs it!! Thank you for an amazing recipe

I mixed this and adapted what I had on hand, I sub'd salted caramel (FW) for DDL , Custard V1 (CAP) and churro (CAP) for frosted donut.. delicious on the shake! Thanks for the inspiration!
#162 by Mad Harry, May 13. 2020, 12:58
I just made this, thought i had CAP Glazed doughnut but i dont, I have LNW Glazed Doughnut which ive not had a lot of success with, its got a funny plastic kind of taste in other recipes ive used it in :( .. Ill let it sit for a day or two though and see how this one comes out, If the LNW ruins it ill order CAP GD, Cheers, it looks like it should be delicious
#163 by Mad Harry, May 16. 2020, 12:08
Turns out Glazed Doughnut is just crap for my taste buds, i found my CAP GD that i thought i had and found the same notes for it "tastes like plastic crap" All this recipe gave me was that odd plastic taste i get from GD concentrates
#164 by Duffy, Jul 5. 2020, 21:02
Very cool. Now one of my favorites
#165 by WendyL., May 28. 2022, 22:42

Thanks for sharing !
#166 by SmokeLeakz, Jul 17. 2022, 18:37
i can use Premium Custard FA instead Custard (Crema Pasticcera) (FA) ?
#167 by James Holden , Jul 18. 2022, 20:32
@SmokeLeakz I did and it was good. Hope that helps you.
#168 by SmokeLeakz, Jul 19. 2022, 04:11
how long steep this recipe?
#169 by Apathy, Jul 19. 2022, 04:15
@smokeleakz
It's very decent off the shake imho, and just gets better with steeping. After about a week I don't think it changes anymore, it's mature at a week.
#170 by SmokeLeakz, Jul 19. 2022, 04:23
@Apathy thank bro
wow so exciting , I will try this week hahaha
#171 by SmokeLeakz, Jul 19. 2022, 04:24
pg vg 9/91 vs 70/30
what is the best ?
#172 by SmokeLeakz, Jul 20. 2022, 15:31
we can add Flavor percent 20% ?
#173 by Bali_fog, Aug 31. 2022, 11:32
@Amy or anyone I don't have FA custard but i have tfa vanilla custard II, would it work to subs the FA custard and if it does any % should i use?
#174 by Zugmaschine, Oct 12. 2022, 18:58
@Bali_fog not really. Fa Custard has a Lemon background note, its more creme like. Maybe you try it with TPA Bavarian cream. It has also not that lemon note, but it could work in a way ...
