Testing: it's almost like there's too much going on here, and I can't taste anything. It's almost got a sherbet taste, but almost not. I think the EM plays a huge role here muting the flavors. I'd like to try the clone of the real thing, since this is kinda meh. Damn.
I made 4 versions, testing out different ratios. I had some fairly different ingredients though. Raspberry FA, Lime Tahiti FA, EM, Custard FA, Vienna Cream FA, Tanger(Manderin) FA. I was comparing to the 3mg, max VG version of Shurb, though I think I prefer the other version better. When doing the comparison, the actual Shurb was much sweeter than my recipe. The creamy part of shurb is pretty prominent. Also it's quite sweet, to the point where I think it's using a sucralose sweetener, maybe even in combination with EM. I tasted the real Shurb on my tongue, and from that point on I was tasting bubblegum flavor. I think that was sucralose, and not actual bubblegum flavoring. I'm kinda stumped at this point. I have a new order of supplies coming in soon. Will continue trying things out. Going to add pineapple and decrease the fruits as a whole, and combine sweeteners. So, that's where I'm at with it.
