Kinda sad I like this vape so much, 'cause ECX no longer stocks the Angelica. : ( So, when this 10ml bottle is gone, so too, will this recipe be history. Very sad.
Very reminiscent of Drambuie; combining scotch whiskey, herbs, spices and honey into a delicious Liqueur.....as close as I could get anyway! : )
Made this mix and hid it from myself for 6 months......good gracious it's good! ; )
I will send you a link when I get back from Boston for Angelica e-liquid concentrate. I still have a whole bottle of FE Angelica and the link I am going to send you is for a source Angelica that is better IMO. I can't get this tablet that I am out of town and using to copy the link I need. The touch mouse pad is stuck or something and I don't know another way to do it on this POS and send the link. Gosh I miss my Mac at time like this.
That would be nice to have another source of Angelica! I saw that you are the only other mixer who uses the ECX Angelica. I tried to make the ECX Yunyan tobacco work, but it's a bit too much for my tastes; it can remind me of men's cologne if not used properly! Thanks for the hope!
Here are two places you can get Angelica http://chansflavor.com/Herbal-Flavor-concentrate/Extract-Angelica-Extract-Extractive-Flavor and https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/products/angelica-extract/profile The chans site is I think a Chinese flavor concentrate. I got some a long time ago and it was good but I think I had to use more than I wanted to in order to reach my desired flavor level. Mountain Rose herbs has an Angelica extract that is top notch flavor (the Angelica sells out frequently) but must be breathed and steeped longer due to being alcohol based. I dilute it @ 10% in PG because it is strong thus diluting makes it easier to work with. You may even want to dilute @ 5%. This is expensive at 9.25 per 1oz but FYI, in my town there is a community market that sells all organic food items and extracts. They have an Angelic extract similar to Mountain Rose but a 1oz bottle is 34 dollars. You may be able to find Angelica extracts where you live and as long as they are not "oil based" you can use them. Some places call them "tinctures" and many bartenders use these for making their own secret bitters for mixing drinks...I hope this does a service for you in finding a suitable Angelica...
Awesome information! You should find a nice spot on ELR to post this info; there may be others that could benefit from these vendors in their DIY ventures! Thanks again for the leads on Angelica. : )
