A typical UK tinned custard all thanks to Molinberry legendary custard, while I do like a custard vape I’ve always felt there’s been something missing from custard concentrates and they’ve never really tasted to what I consider a true custard, until now... MB legendary custard opens the door to a true English tinned custard, smelling the concentrate for the first time it smelt too good to be true and then I licked it, POW! ambrosia custard...
I start with a healthy dose of legendary custard to lay the foundation, backed up with FA premium to get more of that rich custard, the Devon cream adds a touch of milkyness while also keeping the whole mix rich... sugar cookie helps the thick mouthfeel and sweetener because who doesn’t want a sweet custard :)
I’ve been vaping this for a few days and now I’ve run out, I’ve made some more and hoping to let it steep this time although everything in this recipe is a quick steeper, even the Legendary custard.
If you like what I do and this mix then please rate and review :)
This sounds really good once I can get hold of the elusive Legendary Custard, thanks @Nevans for sharing this. @JTC I’m in the UK too and the only place I can find that sells this flavour is from the Molinberry site itself, hopefully it will be available elsewhere soon.
@JTC I agree with you about Nevans recipes, they are very good judging from what I have already tried and when I get some spare cash I’m going to order that Legendary Custard flavour. I wouldn’t be surprised if Chefs doesn’t stock it before too long but I don’t know if I can wait for that lol.
OMG! A dear soul sent me a bottle of Nickbrosia mixed as a surprise as I just came out of hospital & cant get MB Legendary Custard in the USA now. Just finger tasted & it’s yum! @wildgypsy thank you! 😘
Never had the Ambrosia Custard, but this is really good. Excellent, definitely needs the overnight steep. and I am sure it will only get better
Well done Ωhmie .
I’m trying to wait patiently for Chefs to get the Legendary Custard in as I checked the Molinberry shop and it would cost me nearly eight quid just for the postage of a 10ml bottle to the UK 🙁
Guys, cheers for all the comments/feedback/appraisal... glad you’re all liking it. Chefs had a delivery today but legendary wasn’t in the order, unsure why but I believe they are getting it I just don’t know when ❤️
Just sublime Nick! The notes are exactly how you describe it, Ambrosia custard... Wow! It went straight into my squonk tube on the topside. Now I'm in custard heaven 😊 Thanks for sharing.
Really nice and rich this one. For some reason I've stopped being able to taste custards properly over the years, but this one has hit the spot. I've done 50ml over a few days and really enjoyed it. Thanks for your expertise again. Best custard I've tried to date!
Ordered 20ml from molinberry direct, due to arrive today :) already got 120ml bottle made up with everything else to get a head start on steeping, always felt a bit disapointed that nothing tasted like a uk custard so looking forward to this will comment again tonight once tested
At long last I have my bottle of Legendary Custard and I’m excited to mix this recipe up tonight, I will be back when it’s had a good steep with my rating but I already have a strong feeling it’s going to be five stars from me.
I didn’t get the time to mix it up before now but I’ve just made a 60ml bottle, now to wait patiently for it to steep, how long would you guys recommend for it to be at its best please?
Thank you @JTC,6 weeks it is then👍I have quite a lot of other juice that is ready to vape in my rotation so it’s not a problem to me and patience is a virtue as as they say. I am very excited to try this one though especially after what you said about it being the richest custard you have tried in 10 years...wow. I also did the lick test with the Legendary Custard and yes it’s definitely Ambrosia,it triggered memories of being at my Nans for tea when she’d serve this custard with a huge helping of jam or treacle suet pudding which was a specialty of hers.😋
Mixed this up on the 25th of August and tried it as snv and could Not taste much and then after a few weeks steep and I gotta say still not much taste, I bought 100ml of legendary so hope I can find some use for it, I know taste is subjective and I have always found nick's mixes tasty but personally found this one to be the most tasteless although I will leave the the other 50ml to steer longer and then leave another comment
Thanks again nick for the great mixes (sorry for the not so great one for this i am just giving my own personal opinion)
@JTC i really don't mate, every few toots I do get the slightest taste
Maybe it's the rta's I dunno but I gotta say I'm nick's defence I think it's more to do with my taste than his mixes like I said in my last comment it was my own personal opinion on this mix, I love his honeycomb custard gonna try his custard base, maybe I should remake this one and just adjust the total percentage and make it a bit stronger
@jason_UK remixing it @ a higher % is a great idea. This is so yummy for me even off the shake. And don’t worry about using your 100ml of Legendary Custard Nick has a lot of recipes that uses it.
This tastes like the vanilla pudding powder you get in packets to mix up and make pudding, but instead of actually making the pudding you use a spoon and eat the powder straight out of the packet.
A warm vanilla condensed milk from a can. What else can anyone want. It is only dry for the first few days on the exhale and then smooths out and thickens up as it steeps, only steeped 3 days so far but has come along really well, you can't go wrong here these are some of the best concentrates around. Mix it up.
Thanks everyone! Glad you all enjoy it... it’s a pleasure to create recipes for people that take the time to not only mix my recipes but leave feedback aswell :D ❤️
Well I vaped the whole bottle of this over the Christmas and I thoroughly enjoyed it,it was also great in my MTL RTA’s which is a big plus to me as some custard recipes I’ve tried needed the extra power of a DTL atty to come through but not this one. The extra long steep that I gave this recipe really paid off and was well worth it and I will definitely be making more. Thank you @Nevans for yet another fantastic recipe and a Happy New Year to you mate.
Had to sub the Devon Cream for the VTA version but straight off the mix it's incredible. Will try and steep it for a few weeks as it can only get better. Thanks Nick
Heartless, the only problem with subbing in VTA Devon cream is that it has a chocolate note, but if that’s your thing then cool 😎 let me know how you find it.
And thank you all of you that have mixed this up and left feedback :)
Same question Nick, can Devon cream ccw be replaced with Devon cream vt? I can easily get the vt version, but the ccw version through an Amazon buy will run me 5 times the price of vt
I’ve been mixing for almost 9 years and love Custard Vape’s, I have a few good ones that i keep in rotation, recently purchased Legendary because of this recipe, it is a game changer... well done Nick, for me it’s a completely different Custard, A very creamy goodness but keeps that Custard feel... this will be a regular adv 👌
I feel a revisit to my Custard Biscuit recipe is needed 🤔
I've been struggling for months to find a custard I can taste. I've had several oneshots, and a whole bunch of top recipes on here, but eventually concluded that I suffer from custard blindness, to me they all come out flavourless, dry and a bit rough even after lengthy steeps.
Came across this one and thought it was worth a shot since nothing I'd tried had used Legendary Custard or Custard Premium before. Mixed it 24hrs ago, and having just given it a try it really hits the spot! That lovely smooth custard creaminess that's utterly lacking from all the others I've attempted is present in abundance here. Looking forward to seeing how it develops over the next days and weeks.
Thank you so much for this recipe, for me it's achieved the impossible! With this I don't have to accept my fate among the custard blind any more.
A little 3 month update, this recipe has become an absolute crutch!
If I've got ahead of myself and don't have any juice mixed up, this bad boy can be whipped up and vaped immediately for full satisfaction. And it's a custard!
This recipe is a proper modern classic. Firmly in the ADV rotation.
All I vape is custards and I must say this is in my top three favorite recipes of all time. I had to change one ingredient and that was the Devon Cream. I subbed LA Cream Cheese Icing at the same percentage which adds a layer of creamy sweetens. This is such an amazing recipe I had to give a review. My advice for those that don't have Devon Cream is to substitute with LA Cream cheese icing. You won't regret it.
