DIY The Elvis Gut - Peanut Butter banana & marshmallow ejuice recipe

We know peanut butter banana & marshmallow sandwiches killed Elvises fat ass. Well that & Quaaludes. But we'll leave those out of the mix as it's rather difficult to recreate in vape form.

Wanted to go a little different here in using banana nut bread for a texture. Imagine more of a pb-banana-marshmallow fluff sandwich if you made it on banana nut bread. Even without gooey marshmallow this is a tasty mix because of how great banana nut bread is.

Combo of AP\banana nut bread\dx peanut butter sets up a nice start for everything. We get our nuts all up in a bunch here. Also I couldn't decide on AP at .25 or .5 so we'll say fuck quarters, I'm using a goddamn third.
No subs here sorry.

The banana cream seems to work well here (sub tpa @ 2%, if you don't have la banana cream, but you really should 😉) in conjunction with the marshmallow. Feel it kind of lends a hand smoothing things out along with adding it's tasty flavor. Not too strong or overpowering.
Fe banana is another one I played with, it works but this recipe almost needs more of a banana cream than a straight up banana. If you want more banana though it's a viable addition.
WF banana puree is another that would probably work with a little more marshmallow added as well, but honestly I'm so tired of revisions I don't have the motivation atm.
Pur banana is tasty af & I highly recommend picking it up, but it's realism just doesn't fit here.

Wf gooey marshmallow is here because it's a little more of what I was going for instead of an impromptu sweetener\edge-taker-off-er that we get with the tried & true tpa.
For a sub I would suggest fa marshmallow @ 1.25-1
5% as I feel it has a little more realism than tpa.

.15-2ish super sweet\1 drop per 10-15ml is good, but not a necessity so I will leave it up to you. Personally both K & I prefer it with a small amount of sucralose based sweetener.

Steep: This one really isn't bad overnight, but 4-5 days would be optimal.

I've made this 2 Sept 2019, really hoping for something good coming out. I've had the honour to have had this from one of our vendors back in 2015, one of our country's favourite flavours, still had it in my old Nautilis. Got a little intolerance to PG, had to make this 20/80 PG/VG, so I am sure many adjustments will have to be made afterwards. I se you are on 70/30 PG/VG which I hope is a typo. At my ratio I will have to steep till at least 1 October, I'm just hoping the p/butter hasn't muddled it up by then, I hear it is quite strong.

Shouldn't have to change anything but the ratio to 80\20, maybe add another few days to the steep but I wouldn't adjust any percentages of flavors (except to your liking, of course).
Not sure how familiar with the site you are so just in case: if you click the little blue wrench and go to edit\adapt you can just change the ratio of pg\vg & size to what you want. Just making sure, sorry if it comes off condescending at all.
As far as subs it was really just personal preference on deciding between the tpa banana cream and the la version as we tried both. Marshmallow was also a last revision entry that happened to work, I truly feel fa does a more than adequate job..

Ha ha ha no not at all. My recipes are hidden, they are a complete embarrassment if not more, so you've no ideas how active I have been. The high VG makes experimenting very difficult, because if you want to make something you want a shake n vape, not wait a month and try to figure out what the motivation was all about. Out of the probably 300 tries, I've made maybe 4 that I would make again.
Most of my flavours are TPA, only thing we had back then and then some CAP. Right now South Africa might be 3rd world but man we seem to have a far bigger selection than any other country, more than UK or AU. We don't have a "real" vape ban either. It's frowned upon in public, and no sales to under 18s of course. In general we have some good stuff for a good buck so DIY has been slowing down, my opinion of course. I saw 60ml 5 Pawns going for $10 last week, even imported juice are cheap.
But sure, I hear the LA Banana Cream is just "better" than TPA's. I shall try on my next batch.

I'm sure you've got some good recipes, not embarrassments. Even if you just have one you're happy with you should publish it :)
& I certainly give Max VG a bit more time. Currently trying to switch to 80\20 or max vg for the smoothness. but some of my RTAs seem to work better around 70\30. I have heard some people warming their vg a bit to help but haven't experimented with that personally.
Glad your vape laws are good there! In the US now with cities banning flavored eliquid "because things like cotton candy aren't for adults". Oh well, food and beverage lobby is huge, diy should stay safe. Will be stocking up on several years worth of nic on black Friday though just in case there's more stupidity.

Finally some feedback... This is my subs I used, I will rate it accordingly:

Acetyl Pyrazine (TPA) 0.33
Banana Cream (LA) 2.50
Banana Nut Bread (TPA) 3.00
Marshmallow (FA) 1.50
Peanut Butter (DX) (TPA) 5.00
Super Sweet (CAP) 0.20

I made this 1 Sept, so this is day #26 of steeping.

I have an idea that my AP has gone South, I get a very chemically almost sharp tobacco-ish smell/taste to it, no nuts at all, or at least burnt nuts. I will need to replace, or drop to at least 0.2.

The banana is perfect, I would not change that, it is right there where it should be.

The Peanut Butter is odd, I've used TPA's before at 6% and it quickly becomes murky, just messes everything about, but right here, strangely, I am not getting much, I need to find a "better" and more "suitable" one from another vendor, perhaps FLV. I don't want to go past 6% TPA again.

The Marshmallow fell off the wagon, I am not getting anything from FA at that %. I would need to use WF as you did. I want something maltier in this mix.

Then one thing I am missing - syrup. I don't want to go honey, I'd say something between golden syrup and apricot jam. That would complete this recipe for me, to what I remember from the first time I've had this. But that is suggestive, and merely my opinion.

You've done well, putting me on a path where I can find nostalgia. Your recipe as is, is perfect. My subs obviously made things askew.

@krayfish I've been tinkering with a v2 since after a couple weeks the PB seems to really fade. Flv works good for helping that, but I get an almost peanut skin taste from it, so countering that with .25-.5% sweet coconut (as much as you can take without getting coconut, I like around .3 so far) to kill some of that savoriness off. I'll definitely put a note up here when I finish, going to let them steep for 3 weeks and go from there.

Smelling my AP rn it smells like a mix of corn (Fritos like) and a bit of nuttiness along with some chemical smell. Definitely nothing burnt smelling though. Could always make a small test at 1%... One puff will tell you if you have corn chips (normal) or something else.
