This recipe is another labour of love. Blanched spiced pears with a hint of apple, wrapped in a crepe. Originally inspired by MarkSr, Crepe with Brandied Pear Glaze, located on alltheflavors. So thank you Mark for inspiring me to climb up the apples n' pears of mixing!
Crepe (SC) (WF) and Croissant (SC) (WF) forms the basis of the crepe with the latter for the buttery notes.
Shape Up Pear (Molinberry) stands higher as it got buried in previous versions after steeping.
Ripe Pear (SC) (WF) is the softer pear to compliment Molinberry pear.
Liquid Amber (FA) to cook'em π
Apple Filling (FLV) in here mainly for the spice (cinnamon) note but also for the cooked vibe. Even at this low percentage it gest amplified by the pears giving a nice balance between apple and pear.
Golden Syrup (VTA) and Powdered Sugar (OOO) combine to provide a lovely and slightly sticky sweetness.
Vanilla Cream Extra (SC) to smooth things out.
Always learning from the generosity of mixers, sharing their ideas and knowledge in the DIY community and for this I am grateful π
Side notes:
Initially used Brown Sugar (TPA) but took it down the molasses route.
Ripe Pear (SC) (WF) and Shape Up Pear (Molinberry) originally used at 2:1 ratio % but found it got buried after a steep. Subsequently raised the values.
It'll be on honour @MarkSr .You introduced me to Ripe Pear (WF) and working with Liquid Amber (FA) to 'cook' fruits. Very grateful you are in the DIY community π
