Notes
Used Toasted Marshmallow after mistakenly ordering instead of regular marshmallow, but the toasted note isn't noticeable and the marshmallow does relieve the dry mouth feel.

My wife and a couple of locals have noted that it is better than hometown premium that we all enjoy. The vanilla custard is a little more noticeable than most Strawberry custards.

It tasted great right away, but does get better with age.

24-Oct-2019 I've added 1 drop per 30 ml of each Super Sweet and really enjoyed it. I'm now adding Sweet Tangerine and waiting for steep to complete on 4-Nov

This is a great recipe, tastes amazing. I've made 60ml of it and gone through it in three days.

I also added 1.5% Pear TFA and 1 drop/10ml of 10% Citric Acid solution to boost it up a bit and add a bit of tartness.

Simple but very good!! Hasn't had time to steep because I couldn't put it down! If you like custard give this a try. Better than A lot I've bought from b&m.

By the way I just used marshmallow tpa.
#9 by Xander YzWich, Jan 28. 2016, 20:23
@jake I haven't found any different marshmallow to really make a difference (at least at this amount). It's really just smoothing and wetting the mouth feel

I guess that's why I mentioned it. I am new to diy and this recipe makes me excited! I was a little worried about not being able to make a decent juice let alone a great one! Ty

Just mixed this using VCv2 at 7% and toasted marshmallow at 2%. Smells boss! Will report back, nice recipe @Xander YzWich!

After 3 days the toasted marshmallow is still a little too prominent I'll have to bring it back down to the original 1%.

Just mixed a batch of this. Will report back!

I dropped custard down too 6% and it tasted great, im going to try the custard at 4% too for a heavier strawberry

I take it this needs a 12/24 hour breathe due to the reasonably high % of VCV1 and about a 6 week steep? If so, it would probably be better to add the strawberry after breathing for fear of losing the strawberry altogether. I'm going to add 1-2% Shisha Strawberry (INW) to this as well.

I've never breathed this and I wouldn't. After a month steep the Custard is delicious

not bad

Awayze how was it with the normal marshmallow. That’s all I have so I am going to give it a shot whenever my vanilla custard gets in.
#23 by Munson, Jan 26. 2018, 05:19
This taste weird to me. Maybe it’s just me.
#24 by Munson, Feb 10. 2018, 04:13
Ok take back my statement this stuff is pretty good you just have to let it steep. New to vc I started vaping it to early 3 weeks was great for me. I am making a big batch. Thanks for the recipe.

This is totally amazing. The absolute best and iv made over 60 different strawberry custards. Well done !!
#26 by Willbr, Jul 7. 2018, 23:39
I tasted it after a week and I did not like it. It does not meet my expectations. I'll wait more some weeks. But I think there is too much VCV1 in it. I Will come Back after to say if it will be better.

Great recipe.. Only came alive after 5 days, i am going to make another batch with a touch of VBIC and drop VC by a percent or 2.
I have saved this recipe on my short list its a winner as is...

Very nice! I let this steep 29 days (couldn't wait the last day and figured it wouldn't matter). I love the hint of toasty-ness on the exhale, and to me, the mix of strawberry and custard is just right. Not too much strawberry... I can taste the custard. Not too much custard, the strawberry is right there. Not too dry, not too sweet. I'll have to make a much larger amount next time. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
