Notes
**This is an oldie (but goodie) that I set to private a few months ago and just realized it. Sorry for those who mix it ;)**

All I can say about this one is WOW! It blew me away and I had no idea it would be this good!
I haven't made a juice where EVERY flavor pairs so perfectly with one another as this does!
It just needs a better name to do it justice

1 month steeper

in the crock pot for a few hours now. Guna spin it here soon then steep it How long does it need again ?
#2 by DarthVapor, Dec 9. 2015, 05:16
If I remember correctly I sucked down the entire tester on the 14th day after making it or somewhere around there. I made a 120ml after that and I'm letting this one go longer =-)
#3 by Amy***, Dec 9. 2015, 05:18
K thanks ! I still have CCN (citrus cananga) steeping it's getting Golden ....me getting excited way too early thou only 1 month old.
#4 by LordVapor, Dec 13. 2015, 21:59
This hasn't completely steeped yet but I have to say this is pretty amazing. Unlike any other flavor I have ever tried. The Oak Wood comes through strong and I love it. I grew up in a wood shop. I worked with wood and was around it the first 25 years of my life. I always loved the smell of fresh cut Oak. This vape takes me back like you wouldn't believe! Damn good recipe!
#5 by LordVapor, Dec 13. 2015, 22:10
I would call it Golden Oak 😊
#6 by DarthVapor, Dec 15. 2015, 07:52
I was not expecting this to be as good as it is, to be honest. I just saw Oak wood on a website that was completely unrelated to ejuice and flavorings that said oak wood pairs good with vanilla, ylang and some other things. I think it was a perfume or cosmetics site haha. So anyways I had no idea what to do with the Oak wood when I got it and thought what the hell, lets try it.
I was in no hurry to try it and when I did I was kinda cringing not knowing what to expect and then I got my first puff and WTF?! This shit is killer and it's something uniquely special!!
Couple more weeks brother and it will amaze ;-)

I'm glad you got that and liked it! I've been pushin people to try it and hear their opinions. It's it's own category of ejuice, not really a fruit, nor a tobacco or creamy. Good stuff.
Thanks!
#7 by DarthVapor, Dec 18. 2015, 16:24
I have this in my tank again today and I really can't get over how amazing this juices is!!
It is about 8 weeks into the steep and it just gets better and better with time. I highly suggest anyone who hasn't bought these flavors, to give them a try even if its only for this.
Extremely unique juice!
#8 by LordVapor, Dec 24. 2015, 00:39
It's ridiculously different. I mean, we all try to vape desserts, tobacco's candies, etc. This is is a flavor I am not sure I would eat if it were a food. It's hard to explain. But to vape it is pure pleasure. I gave a little to my buddy. I explained the flavor to him. He has yet to vape it. I think he is scared. I will hit him up tonight and tell him to load up a tank. I just know he's going to flip out when he tries it.

I honestly can't believe only you and I have rated this. You should try putting some Fuji Apple in it to compliment the Ylang Ylang. I am going to play with this recipe a bunch!
#9 by DarthVapor, Dec 24. 2015, 00:48
The majority of people do not have all the flavors to make it, that's why people have yet to review it :-(
#10 by LordVapor, Jan 9. 2016, 19:53
I saved half of this bottle and just vaped some more of it this morning. The slight separation between the flavors that I did taste when I vaped this a couple weeks ago is no longer there, Everything has blended into a very nice mix. And the Oakwood has toned down very well and I think it's perfect now.
#11 by Amy***, Jan 10. 2016, 06:08
I am glad I waited to let it steep the month, it was well worth it. The ylang ylang is my favorite part of the juice then the sweetness and warmth of the brown sugar mixing with the oh so subtle hint of the coconut which taste more like the " meat " of the coconut blended with the vanilla/oak wood. What a beautiful juice, basically a fine wine in our eyes ! Perfect at 1 month I wouldn't change a thing ! Thanks 4 the share :)

I have been trying to get Ylang Ylang ordered ever since I vaped this the first time. Every time I come back to this with the thought of making a big bottle of it I always assume I have Ylang Ylang. I have "thought" I ordered it 5 times now. But ordering from 5 different places leaves me a bit overwhelmed in my busy life. I still have 10ml left. When I run out I'm probably gonna have to hop a plane to ECX to get this flavor!
#13 by Amy***, Jan 10. 2016, 17:40
ECX just was having a sale on FA too 20% off. I just got some Flavourart20 is the code oh it say good thru the 10th ? May work ?
#14 by JoJo, Mar 17. 2016, 15:34
I made this using the regular brown sugar (didn't have the extra) at same %. Ylang ylang starts off a little soapy, but it ages so well! Even after a week or so this was delicious. Close to heaven after the recommended month. A great combination of woodsy and floral with sweet and creamy. Yummy!
#15 by DarthVapor, Mar 17. 2016, 15:50
Yeah this needs a month before it comes together for sure! If anything you could of bumped the sugar .2-.5% but it sounds like you like it :)
#16 by Chewy, Oct 30. 2016, 16:40
Very intrigued with the ylang ylang?
Guess that's another flavour to add to my never ending shopping list!
Big fan of the oak wood and all in all I'm looking forward to trying this when I next get my flavours in!
Thanks for sharing and inspiring to try something new!
Will rate when I get it mixed and steeped.
#17 by jims kitchen, Jan 3. 2017, 00:06
just made it up sounds great .going to the keys march 1st. it should be just done if its anything like your citrus cananga.i can't leave home without it made up 300 of that wonder and only have about 60 left.i bow to the master. will post again in a month
#18 by DarthVapor, Jan 3. 2017, 00:31
This one is unique for sure. It almost feels like a tobacco juice in a way but not enough to where tobacco flavor haters won't like it. It grew on me fast and it's a nice break from the norm. Keys huh? You'll be passing my neck of the woods to get down there ;)

Thanks for tryin this and let me know what you think!

Sorry @Chewy, I didn't see your comment until now. I welcome all comments on this one, since everyone seems to get completely different profiles from one another :)
#19 by Tamer El-Meehy, Jan 3. 2017, 01:24
I have to say I'm seriously intrigued. I don't have all the flavors for this recipe, so I am wondering if I can use:
- TFA's red oak instead of the FA Oak
- TFA's Coconut Extra instead of Flavorah's Sweet Coconut
- FA's Vanilaa Madagascar instead of the Vanilla Shisha

I've never tried the Yling Ylang..so I might give it a try without it till I get some.

I know this sounds sacrilegious ..and I'll probably end up with a totally different taste altogether, but the oak-vanilla-coconut combination is very tempting!
#20 by DarthVapor, Jan 3. 2017, 02:30
Yeah unfortunately all these flavors pair perfectly and any alterations would result in an entirely different juice, but that's not to say it will be bad?
Careful with the coconut extra though. The coconut in this is extremely faint and that extra would easily be a front runner. If you do try that combo, I would suggest a sweet cream or something similar to round any edges and replace the creaminess of the shisha/SC
#21 by Koadog, Jan 3. 2017, 04:30
I just ordered the flavors that i do not have and cannot wait to taste this one. Oak-Vanilla-Coconut go very well together. All are part of my favorite clone - Castle Long. I will report back in one month!!
#22 by ZiggyWay, Feb 19. 2017, 23:11
Hey Darth! Loved your Citrus Cananga so decided to go for this one...So glad I did. It really is a thing of its own, congrats! As awesome as it is, I will be playing around with it a bit, I have been digging FA Jamaian Rhum, seems to me it could fit nicely in there. If anything interesting comes up I'll let you know. Thanks for your contributions all around. Great player, un caballero!
#23 by DarthVapor, Feb 20. 2017, 00:47
Thanks Ziggy!! I'm very glad you like this one, for I find it to be a love/hate juice with people. I have made a few private variation and I will say the introduction to orange/citrus plays great!! Thanks again :)
#24 by ZiggyWay, Feb 20. 2017, 12:37
Hey, thanks for the reply and the tip. I'll be looking into Orange/Citrus additions, As I said, if I come across anything worth sharing I will let you know. Have a great Vape friend...

Thanks!! Enjoy that vaca! The weather has been great down here!!
#27 by DarthVapor, Feb 28. 2017, 04:34
I just realized I had this saved with TFA Brown sugar. The original recipe is with brown sugar extra. I don't have the regular brown sugar, so I don't know how much of a difference it makes.
Sorry for the "type-o"
#28 by Tony R., Mar 12. 2017, 15:46
Finally the ylang came in yesterday, i will mix this up, i,m realy curious about the outcome. It has to be good seeing all the positive comments.
#29 by Tony R., Mar 12. 2017, 15:57
@DarthVapor, Comment From TFA.
About the TFA Brown Sugar
NOTE: We've renamed this flavor from "Brown Sugar Extra". Don't worry, it's the exact same flavor!
#30 by DarthVapor, Mar 12. 2017, 16:24
That's strange, seeing as I have both types in my arsenal, haha. I always use the extra anyways, but I wanted to make sure the recipe reflected that. Thanks for the info ;)
#31 by Tony R., Apr 12. 2017, 23:08
Finally got to taste it today, this stuff is amazing ............... I'm making a bigger batch today, 50ml is not enough. A friend tried it also today, he ordered 100ml right away. 5stars easy*****
#32 by reznaeous, Aug 13. 2017, 21:52
Wound up subbing DX Brown Sugar in place of the Brown Sugar, and TFA Coconut Candy in place of the Sweet Coconut. But after a month of steeping I finally tried it out and WOW. This is getting added into my ADV rotation. Currently vaping it in an HCigar Inbox squonker, with a FastTech Hadaly clone RDA on top, 5 wraps of claptoned ribbon wire on a 3.5MM ID coming out at .5 ohms. Straight up 5 stars all the way!
#33 by DarthVapor, Aug 13. 2017, 22:20
Thanks guys! I have subbed the DX as well, for someone who just had to have a juice with no "bad" things. Interested to know how much it changed using the coco-candy, since the sweet coconut is so subtle.

It's been a while since I've vaped this. May be time to wipe up a batch
#34 by Matek's Mayhem, Oct 10. 2017, 01:56
I don't have any of these flavors, but have read. What everyone is saying. Looks like I am going shopping. I hate all of you, lol :-)
#35 by therabidweasel, May 5. 2018, 17:00
Vaped at 1 month. Lovely, subtle and integrated flavors all tied together with the brown sugar. Very unique and right up my alley! Great recipe mate!
#36 by therabidweasel, May 5. 2018, 17:00
Oh yeah, how about "Vanilla Oak Blossom?"
#37 by DarthVapor, May 6. 2018, 03:04
Thanks brother!! I was hoping you would get around to trying one of these styles of recipes! I know we share some common ground when it comes to things like this. Glad you liked it! I haven't vaped this one in so long. Time for a remix! Vanilla Oak Blossom sounds great! If only it hasn't been years and now everyone know's it by, got wood ;)

@matek's, sorry, I just now saw your comment haha
#38 by Fleming, Oct 19. 2018, 23:45
This tastes like cologne 6 week steep what gives I was expecting woodsy
#39 by Monia, Sep 15. 2019, 06:23
Im a newbie at mixing, and most if my creations came out do able but not great.
Then i stubled onto this - oh my hat! Like you suggested- it needs a good steep, but it is well worth the wait. Mixed up a second batch last night to have as backup.
Awesome recipe. Thanx!
#40 by DarthVapor, Sep 15. 2019, 06:55
Glad you like it Monia! It's definitely one that strays away from the norm, so I appreciate it! It's been ages since I've had this one, so it may be time to whip up a bottle!
Welcome to mixing BTW! It's a world of endless possibilities, just don't let any [possible] failures deter you! It takes those misses to find the hits!
#41 by Smithwick, Nov 5. 2019, 22:59
I discovered ylang ylang last year and have been experimenting with it since. This is the best recipe that I've found so far. Thanks!
