It's Christmas and in Italy a typical sweet is torrone, White Nougat, IMHO FA's is THE best around, but I wanted to give it a twist and during an Italian live YT show, Dan the Vaperider suggested: orange! Why didn't I think of it, typical from Sicily.

Here it goes, at first i wanted to use the Pistachio Cream with the torrone, but not many mixers have it in their stash, to strengthen the nutty layer I added more almonds.
Meringue is there to further thicken the Torrone.
There are so many good oranges, I went for FA Royal Orange for its sweetness, but it doesn't have any zest, thing that Shisha Orange has a lot and Shisha is great for both, on its own and for its orangey body.


It's easy to mix,it'll require a couple of days, the meringue, marzipan and the shisha need it badly, but it's worth it.
