dang - crispy wafer could be the missing ingredient I have been seeking - as I have used WF croissant, WF glazed donut and WF white cake and it got me 80% there Time will tell :-)
Well here's a reason for me to make another flavor order.. Once again Nick, you've mannaged to make my sweet tooth go wild as I will definitely make this into a maple type.
Good one Nick. My brother enjoyed this one quite a bit. Told me to say so. Coming from him, it's a great compliment, he is as weird AF as to his taste buds. Hope you find time in the future for some follow up videos on your YT Channel. You have a shit load of knowledge about flavors and mixing. Would love to see you take front stage and let things happen. I heard a few taking the piss about your first uploads...Fuckem'!
Anyways, great recipes overall, and an awesome guy too, keep it up brov...
blueberry jam tends to overpower your base, upping the fluffy white cake flavor helped to balance it out :) I will try the original recipe again with different and lighter toppings like raspberry jam.
at what flavor percentage would you recommend the chocolate frosting?
Just curious, but what's the WF Crispy Wafer do for this recipe? Do you just like the flavor or does the cookie element help with the doughy flavors? I thought crispy wafer was a little weak/less concentrated flavor of Nilla Wafer cookies, so I just thought this was interesting.
