Here’s my take on an ice-cream trinity, Liquid barn VIC is the base as it’s just the best solo ice-cream flavour in my opinion, FA milk gives it the slightly melt in your mouth feeling and then its all ironed out with a touch of FA premium custard. A bunch of naughty DAAP filled concentrates that work a dream together to create an amazing Vanilla ice-cream.
Make a one-shot concentrate and use between 4-6% with other fruits/desserts for best results.
Hey bud, you can shake and vape this, it really starts to turn to ice cream at day 4 but the longer the better really :) thanks for taking the time to mix it :)
Thanks for the info Nick i mixed the one shot at 6% tested it after 8 hours its delicious im going to try your raspberry ripple next just waiting for the VT raspberry jam from chefs .Five stars for the ice cream from me *****
Just mixed 60ml as is for a Vanilla Ice Cream. 😊 I saved your Raspberry Ripple add-in recipe. Can’t decide what flavor ice cream I want so for now I’m happy with a Vanilla Ice Cream. Will report back after I’ve tasted 😉
Well I'll be damned Nick! This is really good OTS and I can see it playing nice with caramels and even doing a spin with Creme de Menthe. You could even venture into using this with JF sweet cinnamon bun for a sticky cinnamon bun ice cream. I'm enjoying it at max VG here which isn't a norm for me.
Well!... I FINALLY was able to get hold of the ingredients necessary to mix three of your recipes, and have already sampled the first: Nick's Ice-Cream Trinity! I can honestly attest to the following: I've never vaped an Ice Cream flavor as delicious and decadent; it tastes like the really expensive Ice Cream with all of the extra butterfat; and that the recipe is a testament to your remarkable talent and skills. As with all creatively brilliant works, the recipe appears deceptively simple - and yet, the combination of only three in ingredients produces the most incredible outcome! I added 1% INW Shisha Strawberry and 2.5% WF Strawberry Gummy Candy (SC).... though I don't know if I'm very keen on the Shisha Strawberry (it generally tastes a bit 'sharp' to me). I might try Phil Tricksterboy's combination of 1% VTA glazed Strawberry and 3% Cap Sweet Strawberry the next time around. Actually, I'd love to add some Butterscotch to the recipe. I just need to sort out which Butterscotch(s) and at how much. Thank you Nick for this marvelous recipe, and for always sharing your genius and guidance with us. The next two scheduled (currently steeping) are Nick’s doughnut base (to which I added 2.5% VTA Raspberry Jam) and Nickbrosia Custard (the aroma of which smells like Paradise!).
@Heart - indeed - we all love Nick - especially those on Chefs who are always having fun with him... which I truly regard as expressions of love and respect. :)
Great ice cream! Always loved LB VIC but this kicks it up a notch. I added FW Butterscotch Ripple at 1.5%. Rich and decadent. Another version I added INW Shisha Strawb @ 2% with FLV mango 1.2%. Came out really nice. Thanks pal.
Thanks for this Nick, I was struggling to get a better ice cream than just 4% LB VIC and this hits the spot. Great with butterscotch like others have mentioned and I really like it with TPA pistachio at 2%, and FLV Boysenberry 2% with FLV Jammy Berry at 0.5%. Deffo 5 stars!
@CloudyR. I've been using this as a base for the most wonderful Strawberry Ice Cream. I just mixed a Blueberry version and waiting for it to steep.
I'm curious to know what Blueberries you've used and at what percentages.
I used the 'Blueberry Trinity' in mine: Bilberry (Mirtillo) (FA) 0.75%; Blueberry (FW) 2.50%; Blueberry Extra (TPA 3.00%.
Hey Nick, love this mix. Well done, it would be really useful as a base to plug and play with. Great work!
I've been struggling with FA Milk and other milk flavours I used to enjoy ever since I tried WF Milk (thanks WF Milk) and now pick up on off-notes I can't shake, even after a long steep. Just wanted to know your thoughts on an alternative to FA Milk that I hopefully won't pick up the powdered milk/baby notes with. FLV Cream or VT Milk come to mind, and I like OOO Cream (Milky), but what would you suggest?
Right off the shake this has blown my dam mind!
Cant wait to work with this. Thank you Nevans, you have tremendously with a recipe im working on. \m/ -_- \m/
I have to come back to comment although this hasnt steeped yet, im still vaaping off the shake but after spending some time with the mix this is undeniably good. Those subtle extra touchhes really make a soft serve 99 you would get while out on holiday! Freaking amazing work and thank you for sharing this trinity!!!!
This is excellent! I love the vanilla flavor I'm getting from it. It's rich, eggy, buttery, and thick! I'm definitely going to try it with some fruits. Thank for sharing it!
Off the shake this was really good, but a tiny bit like a custard. It's only been sitting for two days, and it's already becoming more like an ice cream than anything else I've tried. I've tried LB VIC before, but it never had that real ice cream taste for me. I don't know if it's the FA Milk or the Premium Custard, but the texture or mouth feel is different, and that punch of vanilla is there that I have been trying to find for years. I can't wait to see what's it's like after a week. I almost wish I didn't find this recipe because now I'm going to have to order more FA Milk and Premium Custard 😄 I'm definitely going to be vaping this a lot!
Bro. I don't have all the flavors but I still give it a 5 star because the adaption I had to do is fantastic!! Thank you, kind sir. I will most definitely reference this recipe and give you credit of course.
✌
@IrishVaper I for one am glad you will not be posting recipes. That is not the kind of attitude for helping new quitters and new DIYers.
Nevans has knowledge of a LOT of different flavors and companies. Lucky for the vaping community and elr he is a good dude and he doesn't mind helping folks. Also, this recipe was meant to be added too thus meaning it is meant to be changed.
Forgot to comment and rate. Nick, this is THE BEST ice cream I've tried here, and I've tried many. I love it as-is. But since making my one-shot, I've tried several variations, and the one I keep coming back to (other than this solo @6%) is 4% of this, and 4% TPA pistachio. It's just SO good! Thanks for all your hard work!
Is there a recommended steep time for this when mixed
