Notes
Here’s my take on an ice-cream trinity, Liquid barn VIC is the base as it’s just the best solo ice-cream flavour in my opinion, FA milk gives it the slightly melt in your mouth feeling and then its all ironed out with a touch of FA premium custard. A bunch of naughty DAAP filled concentrates that work a dream together to create an amazing Vanilla ice-cream.

Make a one-shot concentrate and use between 4-6% with other fruits/desserts for best results.

Thanks nick I just made 30ml one shot.
Is there a recommended steep time for this when mixed
#2 by Nevans, Mar 19. 2020, 14:40
Hey bud, you can shake and vape this, it really starts to turn to ice cream at day 4 but the longer the better really :) thanks for taking the time to mix it :)
#3 by Bad Kitty, Mar 19. 2020, 21:27
Mixing some up right now!
#4 by Nevans, Mar 19. 2020, 22:20

Thanks for taking the time to come back and leave feedback mate :D
#7 by Monkz, Mar 21. 2020, 19:22
I have no FA Custard. I have just Cap Custard. At what percentage would you sub it?
#8 by Nevans, Mar 22. 2020, 00:53
You won’t get the same results bud but as far as strength wise goes I’d go for about 1.75% if you’re using cap v1
#9 by Monkz, Mar 22. 2020, 09:12
Thanks for the help Nevans. I will try it.
#10 by Heart, Mar 23. 2020, 12:27
Thank you again Nick. Will definitely mix this up 😘
#11 by Nevans, Mar 23. 2020, 14:15
Let me know what you do with it or if you add it to anything 😊
#12 by Heart, Mar 23. 2020, 20:22
Just mixed 60ml as is for a Vanilla Ice Cream. 😊 I saved your Raspberry Ripple add-in recipe. Can’t decide what flavor ice cream I want so for now I’m happy with a Vanilla Ice Cream. Will report back after I’ve tasted 😉
#13 by Nevans, Mar 24. 2020, 11:32
thank you @heart :D
#14 by cdiypalcus, Mar 25. 2020, 17:59
Hi, @Nevans, is it possible to replace the FA Milk with Malted Milk (TPA)? Thansk!
#15 by Nevans, Mar 26. 2020, 01:19

#16 by Heart, Apr 12. 2020, 12:29

Would vta fresh milk work instead?
#20 by Mav2000, Apr 17. 2020, 09:19
Any subs for vanilla ice cream. Not available on chefs. Thanks
#21 by Nevans, Apr 20. 2020, 07:31
Not really mate, LB is probably the best ice cream concentrate out there, it is on chefs I think it’s just OOS
#22 by Nevans, Apr 20. 2020, 07:33
@thefonzeyyyyyy no, Vta fresh milk will not be a suitable replacement for FA milk sorry mate
#23 by Aaronmix, Apr 26. 2020, 10:07
Great Ice cream recipe I added (CCW) Blackcurrant 0.50% (TPA) Raspberry Sweet 4.50% 3-4 Days steep

#27 by Professor Vapes, Jun 5. 2020, 21:10
can't find fa milk. could it be fa condensed milk?
#28 by Nevans, Jun 5. 2020, 21:13
No mate, it’s FA milk. It’s from their kitchen line, you can get it at chefs flavours. If you’re from the US I don’t know where stocks it :(
#29 by Professor Vapes, Jun 5. 2020, 21:34
thanks. going to the uk, i guess
#30 by Phil Tricksterboy, Jun 20. 2020, 16:00
Really enjoying this with added strawberry, vta glazed strawberry at 1% and cap sweet strawberry at 3%, lushness ❤️
#31 by Nevans, Jun 20. 2020, 21:17
Thank you bud 😊
#32 by Heart, Jun 23. 2020, 16:11
Just remixed 60ml with @Phil Tricksterboy’s addition of Strawberries. Can’t wait to try this.
#33 by Nevans, Jun 24. 2020, 00:18
Ooo let me and Phil know 😝
#34 by Heart, Jun 24. 2020, 02:09
I will 👍😉
#35 by QueenBB, Jun 27. 2020, 05:18
Well I'll be damned Nick! This is really good OTS and I can see it playing nice with caramels and even doing a spin with Creme de Menthe. You could even venture into using this with JF sweet cinnamon bun for a sticky cinnamon bun ice cream. I'm enjoying it at max VG here which isn't a norm for me.
#36 by Nevans, Jun 27. 2020, 11:21
Thanks for mixing it and leaving feedback bud :) If you use this let me know how your mixes turn out 😋
#37 by Heart, Jun 27. 2020, 21:27
Really good with @Phil Tricksterboy’s addition of Strawberries! Really enjoying it!
#38 by Nevans, Jun 28. 2020, 01:56
Good stuff @heart 😊 I’ll mix that tomorrow :)
#39 by Heart, Jun 28. 2020, 02:33
👍😊 @Nevans let me know how you like it 😉

Well!... I FINALLY was able to get hold of the ingredients necessary to mix three of your recipes, and have already sampled the first: Nick's Ice-Cream Trinity! I can honestly attest to the following: I've never vaped an Ice Cream flavor as delicious and decadent; it tastes like the really expensive Ice Cream with all of the extra butterfat; and that the recipe is a testament to your remarkable talent and skills. As with all creatively brilliant works, the recipe appears deceptively simple - and yet, the combination of only three in ingredients produces the most incredible outcome! I added 1% INW Shisha Strawberry and 2.5% WF Strawberry Gummy Candy (SC).... though I don't know if I'm very keen on the Shisha Strawberry (it generally tastes a bit 'sharp' to me). I might try Phil Tricksterboy's combination of 1% VTA glazed Strawberry and 3% Cap Sweet Strawberry the next time around. Actually, I'd love to add some Butterscotch to the recipe. I just need to sort out which Butterscotch(s) and at how much. Thank you Nick for this marvelous recipe, and for always sharing your genius and guidance with us. The next two scheduled (currently steeping) are Nick’s doughnut base (to which I added 2.5% VTA Raspberry Jam) and Nickbrosia Custard (the aroma of which smells like Paradise!).
#41 by Heart, Jun 30. 2020, 02:13
@Jbez yes we love Nick! He’s the best! So much talent & always willing to share his genius with us!
#42 by Jbez, Jun 30. 2020, 02:36
@Heart - indeed - we all love Nick - especially those on Chefs who are always having fun with him... which I truly regard as expressions of love and respect. :)
#43 by stroudypopz, Jun 30. 2020, 06:51
Great ice cream! Always loved LB VIC but this kicks it up a notch. I added FW Butterscotch Ripple at 1.5%. Rich and decadent. Another version I added INW Shisha Strawb @ 2% with FLV mango 1.2%. Came out really nice. Thanks pal.
#44 by Kezza5000, Jul 30. 2020, 18:26
Thanks for this Nick, I was struggling to get a better ice cream than just 4% LB VIC and this hits the spot. Great with butterscotch like others have mentioned and I really like it with TPA pistachio at 2%, and FLV Boysenberry 2% with FLV Jammy Berry at 0.5%. Deffo 5 stars!
#45 by Kezza5000, Jul 30. 2020, 18:27

#47 by CloudyR, Aug 1. 2020, 18:56
Good stuff. Used this as a base for blueberry ice cream. Turned out really good.. thanks
#48 by Jbez, Aug 1. 2020, 19:08
@CloudyR. I've been using this as a base for the most wonderful Strawberry Ice Cream. I just mixed a Blueberry version and waiting for it to steep.
I'm curious to know what Blueberries you've used and at what percentages.
I used the 'Blueberry Trinity' in mine: Bilberry (Mirtillo) (FA) 0.75%; Blueberry (FW) 2.50%; Blueberry Extra (TPA 3.00%.
#49 by CloudyR, Aug 1. 2020, 19:17
Still tweaking mine. I only used blueberry extra tjek.nu/r/A8TK
#50 by Jbez, Aug 1. 2020, 19:20
Thank you @CloudyR. 👍
#51 by Heart, Aug 3. 2020, 13:55
Took @stroudypopz suggestion of FW Butterscotch Ripple at 1.5% & yum! So good!
#52 by Mav2000, Aug 3. 2020, 14:19
Can't find milk in chefs...will wait for that
#53 by Nevans, Aug 3. 2020, 16:06
Thanks everyone, glad you’re enjoying it!

@mav2000 you can get it here... https://chefsflavours.co.uk/milk-flavour-creative/ it’s the same, just relabelled :)

#56 by Heartless, Sep 15. 2020, 12:17
Finally got around to mixing this and added butterscotch ripple as suggested by someone on here. It's absolutely fantastic, thanks Nick
#57 by Kruno, Oct 25. 2020, 11:52
Thanks Nick! I'm really enjoying this at 12%. I would like to add some coffee, could you recommend something?
#58 by Nevans, Oct 25. 2020, 15:55
Heh Kruno... you can add some vta hard crack toffee for some really nice but not bitter coffee notes :)
#59 by Newmixer01, Jan 11. 2021, 23:00
Hey Nick, love this mix. Well done, it would be really useful as a base to plug and play with. Great work!

I've been struggling with FA Milk and other milk flavours I used to enjoy ever since I tried WF Milk (thanks WF Milk) and now pick up on off-notes I can't shake, even after a long steep. Just wanted to know your thoughts on an alternative to FA Milk that I hopefully won't pick up the powdered milk/baby notes with. FLV Cream or VT Milk come to mind, and I like OOO Cream (Milky), but what would you suggest?
#60 by Newmixer01, Jan 11. 2021, 23:01
5 Stars for a great mix by the way. I subscribed to your YT channel and look forward to seeing what you come up with! Keep up the great work
#61 by Wom-Bimbler, Jan 18. 2021, 20:31
Right off the shake this has blown my dam mind!
Cant wait to work with this. Thank you Nevans, you have tremendously with a recipe im working on. \m/ -_- \m/
#62 by Wom-Bimbler, Jan 18. 2021, 20:42
I have to come back to comment although this hasnt steeped yet, im still vaaping off the shake but after spending some time with the mix this is undeniably good. Those subtle extra touchhes really make a soft serve 99 you would get while out on holiday! Freaking amazing work and thank you for sharing this trinity!!!!
#63 by Sarel, Jan 19. 2021, 09:08
Finally got round to making this thanks Nick this is awesome can't wait to try it with some fruits etc.5 stars for sure
#64 by cincinnatiking, Jan 20. 2021, 17:58
This is excellent! I love the vanilla flavor I'm getting from it. It's rich, eggy, buttery, and thick! I'm definitely going to try it with some fruits. Thank for sharing it!
#65 by cincinnatiking, Jan 22. 2021, 00:47
Off the shake this was really good, but a tiny bit like a custard. It's only been sitting for two days, and it's already becoming more like an ice cream than anything else I've tried. I've tried LB VIC before, but it never had that real ice cream taste for me. I don't know if it's the FA Milk or the Premium Custard, but the texture or mouth feel is different, and that punch of vanilla is there that I have been trying to find for years. I can't wait to see what's it's like after a week. I almost wish I didn't find this recipe because now I'm going to have to order more FA Milk and Premium Custard 😄 I'm definitely going to be vaping this a lot!
#66 by Nevans, Mar 3. 2021, 00:06
Thanks guys ❤️
#67 by Ahmed Nabil, Jul 22. 2021, 21:13

#68 by Nevans, Jul 23. 2021, 13:24
I would add flv vanilla tobacco :) start at 0.5 and go up if needed. Thank you for your feeeback
#69 by Warbstar , Aug 6. 2021, 14:50
This is incredible on its own its delicious the endless possibilities for additional flavours you are the man thank you so much 🙏 🤘😎🤘
#70 by Dan the Man, Dec 12. 2021, 19:21
Bro. I don't have all the flavors but I still give it a 5 star because the adaption I had to do is fantastic!! Thank you, kind sir. I will most definitely reference this recipe and give you credit of course.
#71 by Dan the Man, May 8. 2022, 17:55
@IrishVaper I for one am glad you will not be posting recipes. That is not the kind of attitude for helping new quitters and new DIYers.
Nevans has knowledge of a LOT of different flavors and companies. Lucky for the vaping community and elr he is a good dude and he doesn't mind helping folks. Also, this recipe was meant to be added too thus meaning it is meant to be changed.
#72 by Alex, Jul 18. 2022, 12:16
Vanilla ice cream (LB) will arrive soon, but I don't have milk, what do you think about fresh cream (FA) as a substitute?

Forgot to comment and rate. Nick, this is THE BEST ice cream I've tried here, and I've tried many. I love it as-is. But since making my one-shot, I've tried several variations, and the one I keep coming back to (other than this solo @6%) is 4% of this, and 4% TPA pistachio. It's just SO good! Thanks for all your hard work!
