I wanted to wait until this was fully steeped before releasing however I have made 2 testers both lasted a week before I vaped them all. I enjoy off a shake however you may prefer this after a minimum of 7 days
Wf Vanilla custard forms the base flavour pushed high to 3% this is a wonderful vanilla heavy slightly eggy vanilla custard.
Wf Tahitian Vanilla cream adds depth to the cream aspect of the custard whilst deepening those vanilla notes.
Marshmallow Gooey adds to the thickness and mouthfeel of the mix.
Buttermilk adds more butter and a silky smoothness.
Egg Yolk at 0.25% further enhances the egg note in the custard and adds some light sweetness.
Butter Pecan pie elevates this mix beyond just a custard with a realistic butter pecan in the background.
You sir are 👍 good. I really am blown away off the shake with this . Side note the only one I didn't have was the butter pecan pie but I subbed it at the same percentage with FW Butter Pecan even though it isn't a SC and it came out stellar. 5 star recipe
Thanks for your feedback and rating @lostkey it's alaays a greatvfeeling whenevef someone enjoys one of my creations 😁 fW Butter Pecan is a great Pecan flavour and is a great sub.
@Kevin Richard Heart WF Stevia (15%) is excellent and actually blends into a mix to give sweetness throughout instead of sitting at the front of the mix like CAP SS. Use at 0.5%. If you haven't got the WF, I'd go with TFA Sweetener as the EM Content works wonderfully with custard type mixes
Just made 400mls. Tried a littlestraight away. Paranormal DNA 250. Set to replay at 55 watts. Mesh dripper. Initially reminded me of the custard from a custard tart. Very nice and smooth. A little very subtle metallic aftertaste, which I don't usually get with this setup. Possibly a little too sweet with no steep. Mixed by weight to 0.001g accuracy and a magnic stirrer. It is indeed very nice as is, and one of the top 10 recipes I have mixed from this site. Do you thing the sweetness will die back a little or do you haveany suggestions for next batch please. I may well try this mix but sub Wonder Flavours Almond Custard and see what happens. This is the first time I have used WF and they seem to be very good. Has anyone tried any single flavour mixes from WF, they have some possibly good stand alones. Thank you for posting this recipe, and I would urge anyone who lokes smooth custards to give it a try. 👍👍👍
@Paul2566 The sweetness should die back a little as it steeps and the egg yolk and marshmallow settle into the mix. If after a steep it's still a little too sweet for you try dialing the Marshamallow back a little to 0.5%-0.75% it still give some mothfeel but drop a little sweetness.
The WF Almond Custard is great but not as heavy as the WF Vanilla Custard, it should work well with the Pecan notes but won't be as custard forward. Shoulf still give a tasty vape though
Sheerluck_Ohms.
This is now an excellent recipe, truely one of the best on here. I have now made the Wonder Custard Almond, subbing the custard as described above. Thank you so much for posting this, it really is most appreciated.
This is impressive off the shake, I love WF Tahitian Vanilla Cream, and having SFTd that and the custard I know I'm in for a treat when this steeps. Another excellent recipe sheerluck :)
This Custard is the best I’ve ever tried!! I would love to turn it into a Strawberry Custard…what Strawberry flavors & percentages would you recommend?
Hi Aaron H, sorry for the late reply as I've only jist received notification of this comment, thank you for your wonderful comment, if you want a nesquick type strawberry custard use WF Strawberry (Juicy) at 2% for a sweeter well rounded strawberry drop in JF Ultimate Strawberry at 1.5%
