A re-creation of one of my favorite original recipes. This is a rich butterscotch - peanut butter that is both creamy and sweet.
Steep for 3 weeks if you can hold out that long ... this stuff is delicious right after mixing but the flavor will improve with a long steep due to the cream and custard which nicely finishes the texture and sweetness.

My stirrer will make mince meat of that steep time. It does wonderful things with FLV Vanilla Custard in just 4 hours! I cannot wait to try this. I almost want to give you 5 stars already and I haven't even mixed it yet.
This turned out simply delicious! I would be mixing a gallon of this right now if I wasn't so low on PG and nic. Butterscotch and Peanut Butter are probably my two favorite flavors. And this blends them so well I just want to cry every time I vape it. Well done!
This is one of the few recipes that I have made unaltered. And my first time trying the butterscotch. I just got in in a couple days ago so this recipe popped up just in time.
I am with LordVapor on this one. You've definitely created a hit here. I had to grit my teeth when I put it in my steeping cabinet after a test vape! Really well done. Thank you for sharing.
I want to try this so bad. I don't have butterscotch FLV :( I guess I'll try subbing with FA Butterscotch and maybe a drop of caramel MF per 10ml. Any other replacements greatly appreciated :)
@Cairnsie - I have a Corning Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer I use to mix larger batches of juice. It makes juices a little more vapable at first mix by applying a little heat while stirring the juice.
@cairnsie I wouldn't sub caps vanilla custard for flv vanilla custard. I like flv much better personally. I'm thinking you probably could but it would change the flavor a little. I'd highly recommend flv vanilla custard if you don't have it yet.
Just mixed this, I adore peanut butter and just couldn't resist the thought of all that butterscotch! Three weeks will seem like an eternity but the smell of this is to die for! Thank you very much for shareing!
I have gotten my juicemail a few days ago, and had saved this recipe for the event. I mixed (because of all the good feedback) 120ml.
The smell of this stuff is so good that I didn't even test vape, but mix another 120ml right away.
This stuff is not only sounding wonderful but also smells like heaven.
I cannot wait to vape this stuff. Quick question, how long should I wait before doing a test vape? I see above 3 weeks steeping which sounds about right for Peanut Butter and Custard..
I apologize for not commenting on this until now. I made 80ml of this on Jan 3 and put 30 ml in a squeeze bottle. I had that vaped in a couple of days. But I forgot about the other 50ml till today. This stuff is just fantastic. Perfectly balance so that no one flavor takes over, yet Peanut Butter still tastes like Peanut Butter. Great recipe brother. I will keep this on hand.
I also have been lax on praise for this recipe, I mixed it up at the percentages listed but used Butterscotch and Peanut Butter from TPA Cream Fresh from FA and Vanilla Custard V1 CAP. One of my tanks are running this all the time... thanks for the nice recipe. I'm using a Crown tank with a standard .5 coil at 26.5 watts, not getting any bite from the mix but a smooth clean taste, everything seems to pair nicely and play well together.
I saw your post about the schmuck alert and followed it to this recipe. It really looks great. I don't make many users recipes, but I couldn't pass this up. The finger taste is delicious. I can't wait until it's fully steeped.
I also saw your post in the schmuck alert thread and followed it to this recipe. I love peanut butter and butterscotch but have been unable to get a PB to work out for me. I will be ordering up these exact flavors and will mix up a batch as soon as they come in. All the comments on this seem great! Can't wait to try it!!!
This is a great recipe! But....The peanut butter taste like peanuts with the red skins on them..I am trying to layer the peanut butter with other peanut butter flavors to get that creamy smooth after taste..Any ideas Mourning Glory? btw keep up the "GOOD" work :)
There is nothing wrong with this juice, in fact, it is pretty good so I will give you another ***** I think this could work really well with some black honey tobacco though ;-)
Thanks for this recipe :) Made some up about 5 weeks ago and left it to steep for 3 weeks before testing. It's really good! I love FLV Peanut Butter and it goes so well in here.
I have had this recipe on my to make list for about 4 months. After all the awesome reviews I think it's time I finally order the FLV Cream, Butterscotch, and PB so I can make it. Thank you very much for sharing.
I finally ordered the right ingredients, and forgot the cream. Is FLV cream similar to FA fresh cream that I could sub it? Or is there another similar cream? TFA Vanilla swirl, malted milk? I don't have dairy. I have TFA Sweet Cream if it's a sweet cream? Never had it so not sure of the flavor profile?
I'm also going to make this with 4% Capella peanut butter ha, I like flavorah peanut butter but not sure I like it in this recipe if that makes sense lol, well it was either the peanut butter or the cream, as first time using this cream, so I made a few batches and used another cream in one as well lol
This is obviously a great recipe as is, but I have an itch to drop 1-2% TPA toasted marshmallow in with it lol, toasted marshmallow in peanut butters is my weakness
I did not realize that I had not even rated this recipe until now and it is absolutely one of my favs. I have had this on hand in my daily rotation since January. I love me some moon butter! Especially after a month long steep! Great work @Mourning Glory!!! Another great creation from you!
Bledzeppilin, I'll help. At the top where there are 5 white stars, click on the one all the way to the right. That will make it a 5 star rating which is what this is. No, it's not. It's 100 stars but Lars only gives us 5. :) That's really all there is to rating.
I could only wait a week, but it's great. I'll be putting this back in "holding" but it's already tasty so I know it will steep out even better ...2 more weeks! oh wait I better make some more now ;-) Thx for the share. 5 Stars!
I saw this mentioned tonight on the forum and out of curiosity gave it a peek and wow I had to mix it. Smells terrific had to mix it up got it spinning on the mag and will give it a proper steep ! Thanks for sharing :)
I tried this just after mixing and thought it was odd, something about the peanut was almost chlorine like. After 3 days it had morphed into peanuts and a week later you couldn't get me to put this down without a fight. So. Damn. Good.
I have everything to mix this except the peanut butter - nut allergy and I don't mix anything with a nut component (yes I know there are no actual nuts in the flavoring - nut tastes give me a queasy feeling). Should I bump up any of the other flavors a bit, sub it with another flavor or just mix as is and leave out the peanut butter? this looks great to me except for the peanut butter part.
Leaving out the Peanut Butter is absolutely an option but the flavor will be much different. If you were to sub it out with a different flavor, I'd recommend enhancing the vanilla undertones with either Holy Vanilla at about 1.5% or TFA White Chocolate at around 2%.
Thanks. I do have holy vanilla. Don't have white chocolate but I do have TPA double chocolate clear, INA milk chocolate and LB white chocolate peppermint. I'm thinking the chocolates I do have on hand are a little far away for this recipe. Any thoughts on perhaps my adding a bakery note or again too far removed?
Depends on what you think you would like best ... You could try several different mixes with the Double Chocolate (this sounds best to me) or try Holy Vanilla (which I think makes almost everything better). With the Double Chocolate, I'd start at 2% and adjust to your personal preference. Bakery notes would certainly change the overall texture of the mix as it is mainly a super rich cream base ... but it's an interesting idea that may work out to your liking .... I'd say it's totally worth a shot.
thanks for that. I have several juices I mixed over the weekend with a chocolate note so I think I'll take this one in a different direction. Holy vanilla makes just about everything taste better - especially custards and creams. I'll likely try 1% HV and 1% - 2% sugar cookie. I may try two 20ml test batches one as described less the peanut butter and one with the additions. I appreciate your feedback.
I mixed this about a week ago, tested it then and I got a something sharp and harsh. Let it sit for a week and tested it again and still getting that real sharp note. Kind of hard to explain. I'll let it go another 2 weeks, but I'm not hopeful. Any tips? let it breathe? I didn't heat steep it or anything
Sharp and harsh are definitely not attributes of this recipe. It is very creamy and rich ... What you're describing sounds to me like you may have a concentrated nicotine pocket. How much nic did you use and was it by chance diluted in 100% VG?
No. My Nic is a 50/50 blend. Ill give it another shot. Maybe I mismeasured something. Once I make 100% sure that I have the correct recipe, ill report back
You do realize this recipe was published on this site in Jan 2016 right? Unless you're saying someone has stolen this recipe and put it in a book and is selling it on Amazon?
@Perce You sounded like you were accusing Mourning Glory of stealing this recipe from an Amazon kindle book. It sucks that this kind of thing happens, but it does happen a lot. Are Strawnana Custard, Mother's Milk, Bust-A-Nut, etc. in there, too? Leave a one star review on Amazon and call them out for stealing, if it really is the same recipe.
Hey, look on the bright side MG, you're now a famous, published recipe creator. Except nobody knows it's you. :-/ Guess that's not very bright. People suck. Sorry bud.
Interesting. Wonder which other recipes he has stolen. I'm not going to give him any money to find out though, not even the $.99 for the Kindle edition. I know people do this, but it really pisses me off!!!!
Trying this one out after reading the comments and seeing its so good someone actually steals it for a book project. Shame on the thievery, but then again, hats off to the creater of this beaut. :) (and yes, I'm also adding some toasted marshmallow to a separate mix, good idea :D)
Unique and Tremendous Recipe, now at a 9 month steep. Just the right flavor level, and it holds up well. For some time I thought this flavor needed something extra like honey or some kicker, but now I think it tastes complete, peanut butter caramel sweet cream deliciousness. A recipe worth buying all the exact flavors for and mixing 1:1.
This was good, but it was like a new movie for me, I expected more. Maybe its just me. :D I found that initially I was enjoying this a lot, but after about an hour the taste started to dull a bit.
I created this recipe a year and a half before it was published in Jerome's book ... I don't care that it was used (even without my permission). I'm actually flattered that one of my original recipes was used in such a publication ... hope this addresses your concerns Perce p ....
Hey, just commenting so i can give a 5 star rating. Great job and thanks for sharing! Initially i thought the %'s looked too high but it came out great, thx again
This looks really good, missing butterscotch flv and peanut butter flv.
Gonna try subbing butterscotch with either butterscotch ripple or regular Fw or maybe butterscotch cream pie wf.
Then the peanut butter maybe a mix of tpa and fw.
Obviously it won’t be the same but as a whole this recipe looks great
this is an old thread but a question do you think flv van pudding would do ok instead of custard or should i use a quick custard with LB ice cream and flv pudding,, thanks look good need to get flv custard
Mixed it tonight as written. I labeled it and put it away.
Just a quick sniff of the mixing bottle before rinsing it, and of course it smelled like freshly mixed chemicals.
I've got a great feeling about this ones. See your in 3 weeks
